We had an awesome time on the Harry Potter's London Walk (http://www.thecelebrityplanet.com/london/harry-potter-film-locations-london.html). Unfortunately many of the actual film sites were built in a studio but it was a lovely walk around town and definitely worth the price (at one point we were on the river boat which costed more than the tour!) You get to hit some of the main points like: - Platform 9 (although it's outside now and not the real platform) - Diagon Alley inspiration - Walk across the bridge destroyed by Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters - The entrance to the Leaky Cauldron that Harry and Hagrid entered on their way to Diagon Alley Great tour guide and fun to dress up in costume and walk around the city. read more

An absolute joke. My family and I showed up in London at the meeting place in 90 degree heat and waited for our tour guide. They never showed up and never contacted us. We waiting for almost an hour. Of course there's no phone number on the website and the phone number from Apple Maps is disconnected. They even had the nerve to text us asking how our tour guide was. This is a scam and we wasted $210 for the family to take this tour and it ruined our whole day. We will be taking action against them. read more

Tour guide never showed for Harry Potter. Called the office several times. No answer. Never received a call or e-mail that it had been cancelled. Wasted precious time on our trip. read more

So we went on a Harry Potter walking tour on Easter Sunday and quite frankly, I was disappointed. The kids got bored quickly and right at the start of the tour, the guide made it very clear there would be absolutely no toilet stops!! Now, I have a medical condition which means if I need to go, I don't have a massive amount of time to find a toilet so to basically be told, "you need the loo, you are off the tour" is really not acceptable and we all know what kids can be like - try telling a child who claims they are "dying for a wee" they cant go!!!! Also, the tour was meant to last 3 hours but we were done within 2.5hrs (and that was with having to wait for people to top up their oyster cards) - the guide walked so flipping fast - I had my 67 yr old mum and my sister with me, who has pins in her knees so cant walk very fast - they could barely keep up and if it wasn't for me ensuring I could see both the guide way up ahead and my family way behind, they would have got lost within the first 10 mins of the tour. No one checked our tickets either - we could have been anyone just tagging along on the tour for free - which I heard some people had done exactly that so was a bit peeved I have paid good money for a tour and others who were clearly wise to the lack of checking, just turned up for a day out basically for free!! The guide was very knowledgeable, I will give him that - but too many innuendos and alcohol related comments considering the children present - made me feel quite uncomfortable. He also commented to one guy on the tour that he clearly liked to indulge in "herbs" every now and then - very disrespectful and just bang out of order - guides are there to guide, not make a judgement call on what the guests may or may not do in their spare time. Kids were very disappointed to not actually see anything from Harry Potter, just the inspiration behind it - tour should be better explained on the website so people understand exactly what they are getting. Overall - very disappointing and will not be booking any further tours with Besttours - the kids had more fun after the tour in Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament & Big Ben!!! Save your money. read more

Complete Ripoff. Literally! I booked the "Beatles Walk" tour with them that only occurs on Saturday. We showed up 15 minutes early at the landmark Marble Arch in London. We along with half a dozen other people waited in the rain for over 45 minutes. We walked the area to look for our guide. Several of us called their customer service only to get voice mail. I have sent 3 emails with no response. Expedia who I booked this even got voice mail when their customer service called to verify my complaint. They have made no attempt to respond to calls or emails. DON'T BOOK WITH THESE THIEVES! you might as well flush your money down the toilet. I'm filing a complaint with AMEX to have this charge removed from my account and with the London bureau of tourism. read more

Went on a Best Tours Chocolate tour but the guide did not show up. I was with a group with 12 other people. Some of those people had got an email at 11.15 to say tour cancelled at 12pm. Avoid at all costs unless you want a wasted journey up London and are out of pocket for the train tickets. read more

I have made the London Beatles' Walk on November 2013. I made the tour on a Saturday and it was my girlfriend and me only in the group, so we receive full attention from the guide who was very enthusiastic. I found the tour not very focused on the Beatles, as it was given some spare information from different people not related. Also I'm a huge fan from the Beatles so, some of the information was given I already know and I also found that some of it was incorrect and other more importation was missing. However I would recommend this tour for any minor Beatles fan which would came to London. It is OK for have a afternoon fun walk. P.S: you will need to take the tube once to go to the Abbey Road crossing during the tour. It is not advised on the previous info. read more
