I come here a lot I pay for the highest package monthly. it's frustrating because I will show up and there will be people ahead of me trying to use the same beds which is totally fine I have no probl waiting.... but I'll finish with Red light and then want to tan for the Full time. if it's close to closing time the girls will not give you the full time in the bed even if you ask for it. they won't even say anything but you'll get in the bed and 5 minutes will go by and the bed will turn off. or I had one girl tell me hey I know you want to do the full time but we close in 7 minutes... do you just want to do 7 minutes? your max in the tanning bed is 12 minutes... are we being for real with 5 minutes? it's not like ai just walked in the door... The girls at this location are outstanding hands down! However we have requested that the bulbs be replaced in bed 10 for the last 6 months. Bed 10 hasn't been a premier bed for the last year since it's not maintained. Nothing is being done when we request that these beds be maintained. My husband and I pay $200 a month to have premier beds that are only sub standard because they aren't maintained like they should be. We have spoke to management about the bulbs just sitting in the back room ready to be installed but nothing happens. What a disappointment! We are asking for management to update bulbs as each bed needs,make sure if a premier bed has features, that those features work. read more

This was my first spray tan experience using a machine. The staff was great over the phone and in person. The location is very clean. The staff member thoroughly explained how to use the machine. My face got very dark. So, I'd recommend tanning a few days before an event. I also thought my face looked very shiny, even using powder to tone it down. I'm addition, I had a spot that dropped on my stomach. I'd try it again. The color naturally faded. Pricing is great, too. It may have been just an issue with finding what is right for me and getting used to the machine. read more

Ive tanned here many times and there's good things and there's bad things. THE GOOD: I get a great tan in the stand up beds because they use the best bulbs, but thats the only reason I kept going as long as I did. Ive been to every tanning salon in the east valley and never tan as well at any other place like I do at Celebrity. THE BAD: #1 the beds are REALLY disgusting and dirty. The girls do not clean the stand up beds, at all! They are old and filthy and the one in the back is falling apart. The front one at the entrance is an absolute oven!! The glass windows are coated opaque black so no one can see in the room, and in the afternoon the sun hits that black glass and that room heats up so much you will ROAST like a turkey in an oven if you go in there, especially if the room and bed is already hot from a previous user. But the other one in the back is really dirty, and usually has old bulbs in it, so its better to go in the front one if you can stand the heat. The issue with it is not only is it terribly uncomfortable, but the extreme heat on top of the skin damage being in a tanning bed in the first place just really fries and dries out your skin. No amount of tanning lotion is going to save your poor skin from all that. #2 Customer service is non-existemt. I cancelled my membership. I ended up getting billed for the next month somehow. I called and she gave me a number to corporate/customer service. All I wanted was a refund for that $69 because I cancelled the month prior and wasnt going to use it. They ignored my messages. I called 4 times and left messages different days, no response. As days go by, I didnt want to tan because I had cancelled, and just wanted a refund. If Id have known Id be ignored I would have just used the tanning sessions and at least got something for the money they took. I tried emailing them a few times hoping for a response. The entire month went by, I did not use any sessions, and never got any replies. So I disputed the transaction with my debit card. It was a crappy bank and they never honor any disputes, so I never got a refund, and never got to use any sessions! A company that completely ignores customers like they did me, does not deserve my future business, so I wont go back. If they had at least responded and told me they refuse to refund the month membership I could have at least got use out of it, but I didnt go assuming that they were probably busy and would reply eventually and honor the refund. read more

Yeah not to sure about this place.. I got a spray tan done yesterday the girl at the front working was very sweet & helpful, however my tan turned out awful. Mind you I have used both versa & mystic tanning before and I self tan frequently so I know how to prep my skin appropriately before & after. I used the Versa yesterday & my tan turned out very splotchy, when I mean splotchy I mean I look like I have freckles all over my body. Don't get me wrong it coated my entire body, so it's not splotchy in that matter but it's almost like the tan didn't disperse evenly when it sprayed me. Here now and again no bed available. This happens more often than not. Either the bulbs are being replaced or not, cracked bed or someone using it. They have gone down to 2 beds at the affordable monthly price. My mom and I have been coming for almost a year. The frustration is getting to be too much. The general manager was there today so I expressed my thoughts. No apologies only excuses. Training how to handle unhappy customers might be in order. :( read more

LOVE THIS SALON!!! It is seriously so pretty inside and HUGE! I'm so impressed. I double dipped (got a bed tan and a spray tan) and I couldn't be more satisfied! The girl up front showed me the differences between the mystic and versa spray booths. I usually do the mystic because I've never heard of the versa. Let me tell you, WOW! I didn't leave sticky at all! I love how the door stays open too! The bed was so nice! I felt like I was in a spaceship (LOL). I did the bed right at the front and I highly recommend! Shay couldn't be a nicer and amazingly knowledgeable person to go to when it comes to tanning- whether it's spray, beds, before prep, aftercare, or products. She has been the reason I signed up to begin with, the reason I return, when she's not there she is the reason I don't want to go, and so far, my 3rd favorite reason to go (1. Spray tan. 2. Tanning bed. 3. Shay- except her knowledge is what makes me love the first two, so TIE.) She makes me want to work there so that I can learn as much as she knows about something I do love doing. I canceled my membership with this salon 6 weeks ago. They didn't charge my card in November, but they just changed my card again on December 5th. I am going to dispute the charge, but be careful of this place. Megan canceled my account when I went in, now I'm getting charged 6 weeks later. They do this to see if you will catch it. Bad business. Don't sign anything with them! If I could give them a zero rating I would. Listen management, you better reverse the $88 charge before I dispute it or name will be mud in Mesa. I have been tanning at this location (Signal Butte, Mesa) since they opened (many years ago) with it being OK, happy with it. This year my wife got me a monthly package and a $50.00 bottle of lotion. I do not use lotion so I went back with the credit card, lotion and receipt in hand. This being only 2 hour after purchase. I was told that there are no refunds on products despite pointing out that there are no signs stating this or there ability to show me one on any part of the business, inside or out. My issue is not with not getting my $50.00 back as much as them not honoring the return under these circumstances. Maybe that good business now a days, but with some many other tanning sites available I must move locations out of principle. Let me state clearly that I have been very happy with the staff and that this is only an owner/business issue. read more

Signal Butte and Greenfield locations- This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! I was never told you had to give a 30 days notice to cancel my membership. So I was told by the manager to freeze the account the month I didn't want to be charged for and then I could cancel with a 30 day notice. WRONG! When I tried to cancel with more than 30 days notice I was told you cannot cancel off of a freeze! My mother in law is being told something completely different! The manager is so rude and called me a liar in front of a line of customers! If they charge my card one more time I am reporting it as fraud to my bank. I have asked multiple times to cancel my membership, followed the managers instructions and they continue to charge me! Also, I had tanned there for over a week before I was asked to sign a paper saying I was more than 18 years older! I will write a review everywhere I can and tell everyone I know to never use this company! read more
