I was taken in as soon as I arrived for my appointment. In fact, I arrived about 5 mins early so that I wouldn't take up much of her time and so that she can continue conducting business after the service was completed. If I had been running late, I would have done my best to reach out to communicate that. Anywho, Carlee conducted a phenomenal job and this has been my 8th return to Lunchbox. As long as she remains with the business, I will continue coming back as her service is one of a kind. Went to this place a few times and they did a good good job. What I loved was they had wonderful specials for repeat clients. My next Waxing service was Bogo. I went into my appointment and unfortunately they would not take me because I was on antibiotics and they said that I could burn. I was very disappointed, but I understood. They said at least I had to be off antibiotics for two weeks. Unfortunately, I had to be on antibiotics for a few months because I was ongoing an infection that I could not get rid of. Finally, I have been off the antibiotics for two weeks and I called to schedule my appointment. Told them I was ready to receive my Wax service. Also mentioned I had my Bogo free appointment that I was promised because that was my next Wax service. They told me they cannot honor it because I did not come back in a few weeks. However, they were the one that turned me away due to antibiotics and told me I was not allowed to come back until I was off of them for two weeks. They told me they couldn't honor it because it was too long. I am a cosmetologist and have been in the beauty industry for almost 30 years. I would never give a gift card or offer service and then take it away due to a client being sick. That's saying like a gift card expires in a few months. I have been going to them for multiple Waxing services for months prior to this. They said that there is nothing I could do. Very disappointed because I am the type of woman that stays with a licensed professional once I find somebody I like. I will now be moving on to other options and places now. I was told my period wasn't a reason to reschedule and I would be charged a 50percent reschedule fee. Knowing this place waxing women while they are menstruating is disturbing. We went to Santan Village to have photos taken with the Easter bunny, and the location was at LunchBox Wax. While we were there we were given a bag with coupons including a free wax at LunchBox Wax. I have been looking for an eyebrow place whether it is threading or wax that is nearby, so I was excited to receive the coupon into redeem my free wax. I was able to make an appointment, easily over the phone. I got to my appointment a bit early and there was no receptionist there, I filled out a packet and unfortunately had to leave before my appointment time. There was no one I could talk to so I gave them a call closer to my appointment time to reschedule. Upon arrival, Marissa had my packet already out and was ready to wax me. She talked to me a little bit first about how I wanted my eyebrows shaped. I told her I really wanted minimal shaping and mostly just cleaning things up. She listened to me and did a great job. I was happy with the results. I would definitely return here. I believe a wax would've been $26 if it wasn't for the coupon. Parking is available, outside in the mall parking lot. They offer many other waxing treatments as well. They had a sign saying if you want a free wax you can be a wax model, I emailed them and never heard back. I was unsure of this location at first, but my third time visiting I had Jayde who was absolutely amazing. She was so outgoing and friendly. I visited LunchboxWax in Santan Village for a full leg wax and was very impressed by the friendly staff and overall aesthetics of the salon. I was personally greeted by the owner while filling out my paper work and the waxing suites are large and pristine. The temperature of the wax was perfect and it was soothing on my skin when it was being applied. Read the whole thing: My friend and I came here for a Brazilian. When we walked in 8 minutes late, instead of being greeted with a kind hello, the lady at the front desk (who ended up being my waxologist) said, rudely and without hesitation: "You guys are late." After we said sorry, she said that they have a 7 minute late policy and that if we're past that we have to pay the late fee. She walked away frustrated saying that she has to go see what the other waxologist wanted to do. She came back saying that since it's our first time we won't get charged. Now I'm not saying that it's okay to be late. Its important to respect their time and I get that. But NOWHERE on the website or the confirmation email did it mention a 7 MINUTE late policy. Things happen, people are late. I know they specialize in speed waxing, but it was booked as a 30 min appointment and the waxing only took about 15 mins. So it seems to me like they can have some leeway when people are late. Or at least let patients know of this policy in the confirmation email or website. What was meant to be an exciting and fun experience turned into an unwelcoming and scary experience. That said, the facility is nice and the waxologists did a great job. So I do recommend this place, just, don't be late. read more

Very dissatisfied with the customer service I received from Cassie today. Due to a car accident in my neighborhood I arrived for my appointment 12 minutes late. After apologizing and explaining the situation, Cassie rudely responded "I won't take you. We have a 10 minute late policy." It was only two minutes past the cut off. I think this was not good customer service, but also it was the incredible rudeness Cassie exhibited that will keep me from ever returning here after over a year of being a loyal and regular customer. I visited lunchbox wax at the santan mall for a brow and lip wax. Carlee performed my waxing service and she is amazing! She did an excellent job, she cleaned up my brows and shaped them to perfection! It is my understanding that they use a special wax exclusive to their company and I'm not sure exactly what technique she used- she was explaining to me that they have a very specific method of waxing, but whatever she did, she made the experience completely pain free and comfortable. Can't wait to see Carlee again in 4 weeks as this is the ONLY place I will go to in the future for any waxing services. read more

I really wanted to love this place. My first time booking here and did so online. I got a follow up phone call to confirm my appointment for the following day, as well as a confirmation email. The next day came and I hit awful traffic and GPS showed I would arrive 14 minutes late so I called and asked if that would be okay or if I should reschedule. Whoever I spoke to who answered the phone is not personal and actually was pretty rude. I was informed that they have a 7 minute grace period of being late so obviously I wasn't going to make it. I can respect their protocol but this information should be shared either when they called to confirm the appt, or in the email confirmation. Since this was NEW information to me I went looking for the info only to find it in the FAQ's (the last question on there to be exact) setting up customers for failure?? Anyways, I asked to just cancel it since I knew I would be late, again I got surprised with new information.... Same day cancellations require a 50% of your service fee so I rescheduled for the same day. Original appt was at 4 and i had to move it to 6:30. Mind you, this day is my birthday and I had to leave in the middle of dinner so I wouldn't get the charge. Upon walking in the front desk, Carlee, ended up being my waxer. She was not very welcoming when walking in, very short with me, and seemed to be like the only person working there? Anyways, moving on to the wax she was fine. Actually spoke to me but I know that's her job to make us comfortable while waxing but don't understand why it's so hard to be nice working the front desk.
