I really wanted to love this place because the staff is genuinely kind...that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. My first experience was extremely disappointing. The technician was rough and dismissive, and my eyebrows turned out poorly. The manager was very apologetic and kind, which convinced me to give them another chance with a different technician. My second visit was a completely different story. Cassie did an amazing job, and I was genuinely happy with my results. For my third appointment, I specifically requested Cassie. When I arrived, I was told she was unexpectedly out, but that I'd be in good hands with someone who trained her. It was also mentioned that she "read my notes" and told me that I "liked a more gentle hand". While I'm sure the intent was in the right place, as a customer, that comment made me extremely uncomfortable. The technician was friendly and took time to ask what I wanted, which I appreciated. However, during the service, she repeatedly went over the same areas, mentioning I had "stubborn hairs." As someone newer to sugaring, I trusted her judgment. Unfortunately, once I got home and my brows settled back into their natural shape, I noticed a significant gap between them, and they were uneven in both shape and size. On top of that, my skin was left red, raw, and even scabbed in the areas she repeatedly worked on. So many times I have passed Sugar Sugar on my way from work to home and back again. I always assumed it was a spray tan place and while I love a good spray tan, I'm never really in the market for one. One day I decided to visit their website and I was pleasantly surprised to see they offered other services. I wasn't really familiar with what sugaring was. Much like waxing, it is a method of hair removal and exfoliation. You can sugar yourself before a spray tan to ensure your body is properly exfoliated, and the spray tan lasts longer, you can use sugaring as a waxing solution for your eyebrows, Brazilian, etc. They also offer facials. I scheduled the Trademark facial with Jazlyn. She was amazing. Very talented. A lot of of the girls are young and straight out of aesthetician school. They are very good at what they do and super sweet. The session was built for 50 minutes. I actually had to reschedule and I ended up texting with the owner who was amazing and rescheduled me and thanked me for doing so. She also assisted in rescheduling me for the following weekend. I appreciated that direct service. The prices are fair. $95 for a facial. While I was there, my facialist told me they did eyebrows. I've been looking for a place to get my eyebrows done for a while. I like to get them laminated and waxed or in this case, sugared. Jazlyn ended up not being available for my eyebrows and I ended up getting them done by Rae who was also spectacular. The poor thing, was running around crazy when I got there. She had to take me later because she was a one woman show, checking people in and out, providing services, all with a smile on her face and handling things very professionally and with a great attitude. Not only that, but she ended up doing an incredible job on my eyebrows and talked with me the whole time. We got to know each other well. The girls there are all very sweet. Don't get your brows laminated, it was a huge waste of money. Go somewhere else and get a brow wax. For the record I came in for a brow wax and tint, and wish I hadn't let her talk me out of it. I have blonde brows with lots of white strands that make them look thinner that I wanted fixed. Instead she talked me into lamination which didn't accomplish the fuller look I came in looking for. AND the laminated brows didn't work, and I followed all the rules they gave me. And the woman doing my brows was so all over the place, she was nice, but I came to you as the brow expert and she was asking me questions like she clearly didn't know what she was doing. Offer your clients guidance, direction, input, options. Be the expert. Don't expect them to know your job better than you do guide you through the process. I recommend that this salon gets references or pictures of brows to point to for shape and detail and styles, bc the woman I had didn't know what she was doing. The quality of service has not been the same. I used to look forward to my appointment. I felt pressured into getting a brow lamination here. I already have thin eyebrows and it only made them worse. I was also supposed to get a consultation with my service and never happened. I didn't feel comfortable with the service. I recently had to cancel my appointment due to being sick. I reached out when I woke up before my appointment and was told they still had to charge me a fee. I asked if I could still come in at my scheduled time to avoid the fee and I was told no. read more

I have been 3 times and only once was the esthetician nice/hospitable/approachable! I wish I had gotten her name because I haven't seen her again. I would rate the experience overall a 3/5 but I want to add that the owner is sweet and tried to address our concerns but even after going back it was just such an unpleasant experience with the employees that we will not be going again read more
