Crysania was attentive and showed genuine concern in her client's having a positive experience. I've had at least a hundred massages with scores of therapists--I consider myself somewhat of a massage connoisseur. There are 17 existing reviews for Crysania. All are 5-star and all are from women. Let me assure the guys that a 5-star massage awaits you as well. First, let me get the only negative out of the way. There is no waiting area. She has a room off a public hallway. A few times during the massage there was talking in the hallway. Nothing disruptive, but mildly distracting. Don't arrive more than a few minutes early. Once inside the room is well appointed. A heated massage table, soft lighting, soothing music, plenty of room for Crysania to work her magic. I like to leave it up to the therapist. I don't give much instruction. I told Crysania that I like lots of pressure, but that it's the overall flow of the massage that counts. I told her I'm there for the art, to experience her craft. I was not dissappointed. She had me start on my back. This was new to me, but I'm always up for new. Where most massages end with the head and face, Crysania started there. In fact, the entire sequence was pretty much the reverse of the massages I'm accustomed to. It was a nice change of pace. She used a variety of strokes and techniques. Honestly, I got so lost in the massage that I couldn't give a blow-by-blow description. She has fantastic intuition and is very tuned to how your body is responding. The energy exchange, the pacing of the massage, the focus and pressure were all phenomenal. She can start a stroke with the softest, lightest touch at your foot and smoothly work her way up your leg increasing pressure, shifting technique, and running energy up your leg. She works her way around your body with magic like this and it's sublime. I've had a lot of massages with a lot of therapists. Crysania is easily in the top percentile--the top 10%. Fabulous Massage! I bought a Groupon for a massage at Celestial Lotus Healing. I'm 9.5 months pregnant and I was happy to see that Crysania does prenatal massages. I ended up being 10 minutes late due to construction on University Ave. and a little trouble finding the place. At most practices, if you are late, you still end at your scheduled time. Crysania was so kind- her lunch break was after my massage, so she still honored my entire hour- regardless of my tardiness. Thank you! Just had my massage with Crysania on Tuesday. I called her on Sunday and she was pleasant over the phone, as always, and was able to see me just 2 days later. Her studio is peaceful and comfortable. She is extremely thorough in her consultation, taking into account my needs and also letting me know other options that might help. I've had 2 massages and a reiki session with her and I'm so glad I did! Even during her massages I can feel her reiki ness working! Lol she has techniques that make her stand apart from others so I drive 38 miles to go see her! I'm buying a gift certificate for my boyfriend who lifts weights and does body building.
