The type of place that is perfect for the Hipster community, and there's not a lot of this sort of option down here in the R-berg, it's it's more of a Montrose or Midtown thing, or a Heights type thing, so in that regard it's pretty awesome honestly.

Such an amazing, diverse group of artists here! Many different kinds of painters, jewelers,…read morephotographers, and much more. Artists usually open their studios on the Second Saturday of every month from 12pm-5pm, and there are also exhibits on view to the public in the galleries and hallways for free every Monday through Saturday from 9am-5pm. Plus, many artists work with their doors open and invite the public in during the week and on weekends. It's absolutely worth stopping by to check this place out!

I booked on Peerspace (my first time learning about it), and out of my top three choices to film my client's pilot for YouTube, Vybe Studio was the clear choice. I had seen it a few times driving past--it's within a strip mall and business park on 1960 towards Willowbrook. But now I've gotten the opportunity to film there, and it's got all the bells and whistles: commercial ceilings, blackout curtains, a hedge wall, furniture with real plants, as well as photo lighting and monitors. There are a few other amenities as well, and while Vybe Studio isn't soundproof, it's back away from 1960 that the occasional motorbike isn't a huge audio issue. Calvin was very welcoming and accommodating; we moved all the furniture out the way to clear the blackout curtains for my background, and moved them back. At $55/hr, the price was right--generous, even--for everything that's there, so Calvin and Vybe Studio would be my preference when I need a place to film.

When I first started photography I was shooting an auto and I didn't know much about lighting, Tiffaney was able to adjust my camera settings as well as the lighting for me while I was there. Great Management, Beautiful Space!…read more Republic Square has been an amazing experience so far. The management team is friendly and genuinely cares about your experience. The building, which is already stunning, is undergoing amazing new transformations and gets even better every day. As for perks, It has coffee stations throughout the building, great meeting rooms, underground parking (keeps my car covered and amazingly cool) and a stunning lake in the back.

However, the host of today's art show brought refreshments. It is definitely a no frills sort of place. But it is just as its name says, a warehouse type of venue. Although not a high-end place, it definitely serves it's purpose.

She made sure the new folks knew the moves beforehand and answered all questions we had. She greeted everyone who came to her class. So the basics - this place is located on the 2nd floor of the building that is shared so you will have to look up to see it. You cannot miss it though. Take the stairs or the elevator if you prefer. They did have to let me in when I arrived 30 mins before class and I can see why. This is an all female studio and being that they were by themselves on the 2nd floor, safety precautions are taken. Greatly appreciate that ladies! The doors are kept locked once classes start so again, for our safety even though this area is a very nice area. The studio is beautiful, nice wood barre floors and they have showers and all the amenities for you like deodorant, feminine products, pink towels! So if you need to shower and change, go right ahead! Class was amazing. I feel that I was able to keep up and if I struggled, Brenda said it was okay to modify. This class is a low impact class, BUT you will feel it the next day. I felt the burn in my legs the next day from all the pulses. One thing that I really enjoyed was that we were able to use natural sunlight in the studio. You get a nice view of the outside and being on the 2nd floor, we had nice views of the tree tops in the Champions Forest/Spring Cypress area. Loving that we have a barre studio in Spring!

It was a great workout and I was sore for the next few days. I took my second class today with a different instructor and the experience was just as good as the first. Their babysitter, Lauren, was really good with my toddler. The cost for childcare is only $5 per class, yay!
