Had a phone screen repaired here. Paid almost $200 to have the screen repaired. Phone developed a crack less then 3 months later. I have never dropped my phone. They took of my nice screen protector and replaced it with a cheap protector that doesn't even cover the whole screen. Shame on me for not replacing it with a better screen protector, but i was told their work would be warrantied and again, it's not like a dropped my phone. DONT GO! Charged me $260 to change a perfectly working screen that was cracked. I got the phone back and two days after it started glitching and would randomly go white. I had to take it to the shop three times before i finally caught the "screen guy." The screen guy told me he didn't know what was wrong and that I need to bring it back for further looks. I don't even know how to start this review. All I know is that these guys are great. They're every adjective that has every synonym with the word amazing. I frantically came in 20 minutes before closing because, let's face it, I'm a millennial and my phone is pretty much my life. But I'm also behind on times considering I still own an iphone 5. My screen completely went out while I was on an app. I also had a 7pm appointment and thank goodness I literally live down the street, otherwise I'd be phone-less. When I pulled into the lot, the open sign was turned off and I thought the door was locked. Funny thing, I looked like a damsel in distress talking to the guy behind the counter through the closed door. Turns out the door wasn't even locked and he told me to come in. The two guys who were still there were ...SO NICE. So so so so so nice. They didn't push me away. They didn't tell me that they couldn't do the job. They weren't mean to me. In fact, one of the guys asked where I would be and I told them that I was going to be in the area. So I'm assuming the manager? cause the guy that I originally spoke to had to ask for permission to stay past 8. Well I'll assume the manager. He offered to drop off my phone to me wherever I was going to be. And he did. These people are incredibly kind. They fixed my phone. They dropped it off to me. What more can I say? Kind people. This store handles stolen iPhones and has very shady practices. They can't keep their story straight. My partner was mugged on Thursday and an iPhone 13 Pro Max was stolen. The employee today said he was the only one that worked all weekend. He said he didn't see the phone in the back and proceeded to contact his manager. Manager "Some black guy brought it in on Friday and we couldn't help him." The phone pinged at the store on Saturday. The employee again said he hadn't seen the phone and no one brought such a phone in on Saturday. One can assume if the criminal brought the phone in on Friday, and it pinged at the store on Saturday, it was being jailbroken or was purchased by the store. We sent an email to the store with the police report, Apple Receipt, and a copy of the ping location. Of course no one has responded. Thankfully HPD is involved since additional criminal acts were committed. Hope this store gets exposed. Glad to have todays interaction on phone video. read more

I cracked the baffle on my Mac. Apple said their prices started at SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS to fix it and god knows how long it would have taken. I contacted iPC repair and Juan was very responsive. The price was less than 15 percent of Apple's! It was done in less than two hours. Great location-- you can go have lunch at one of the many restaurants nearby while you wait for your repair. Best service I have encountered for computer repairs! Price is a lot more affordable compared to other places as well. I've gotten my 2012 MacBook Pro repaired here for liquid damage twice, twice ! I had my iPhone 7 Plus screen replaced here 3 weeks ago, so far so good! The customer service I experienced with every employee was awesome and I will definitely remain a loyal customer and recommend to anyone! A week or so after I had my screen replaced, people were having trouble hearing me on the phone. I originally thought they may have messed up something inside with the speaker/microphone while replacing my screen. I brought it back 2 weeks later and they thought it was a recall defect know for my phone model, so I had to shell out another $70 (which they actually discounted me $10 on the repair). Still days later, I was having the same problems. Just took it back to them today and they figured out it was my new phone case I had bought and started using just after my screen was replaced. Impossible situation repaired. I'd give this lace 10 stars if Yelp would allow it. Freddy, the managing tech, was the ONlLY person in the entire Houston metro area that quickly analyzed my situation, offered a recommended course of action and executed upon it without flaw. I had been on a wild goose chase trying to recover data lost on a solid-state drive on my MacBook Air. I went from one place to another to no avail. I went to fries, no help. To the Apple Store. No help. Worse, I received the malicious affability of Hipster Millennials basically telling me I am a "Boomer," which I'm not. Micro Center? Garbage. They wanted $1400 just to cast my hard drive off to a lab. Sheesh! Anyway, when it looked hopeless, Freddy took extra steps to recover my data and installed a new SSD hard drive in my computer, which saved me $2500 and prevented me from buying another. Whatever super secret Russian/Israeli hack software did the trick for under $130 bucks! They spent four days on this nightmare!!! Anyway, I'm such a fan that I am mailing ALL of my existing and future problems to IPC. I live in Oregon and these chaps got me out of a pinch because I have a client in Houston. Anyway, I'm outsourcing all repair work here because of the trust gained with this business. And, to top it off, Freddy spent as much time as I needed answering my dumb questions with aplomb. This place is great!!! Shattered my iPhone screen twice within 6 weeks (what can I say, I'm super clumsy) and walked in both times without an appointment and my phone was fixed in about 30 minutes! They have a private lot with plenty of parking available. Both times I've visited the wait was fairly short. You walk in, they assess your phone, give you a ticket stub with your name and number, and tell you to return in about 30 minutes. So simple!! I love that there are no long lines to wait in! The last time I went it got a little busy (lunch time on a Friday) and it took a little longer for my phone to be repaired. I returned in 30 minutes as I was told and my phone was still being repaired. They asked me to come back in another 15 minutes so I went to grab a quick takeout lunch somewhere and when I came back the repairman felt so guilty he paid for the lunch I had just bought for myself while I was waiting. I thought that was so sweet of him and I definitely did not expect to be compensated for something so trivial! Needless to say I refused to let him pay for my lunch and tipped him whatever it was he had deducted from my receipt. Their service is definitely quick and helpful, but after bringing in my iPhone 5C in here about three times, I've started to notice the subpar quality in the material that they use to fix the screens, as they aren't as efficient as they should be. I often find that after each fix, the screen would be a tad unresponsive to the touch. I often would have to wipe my screen down in order to get it to work properly. Keep in mind, I visited their establishment three times, and this has happened each time I went in to get it fixed. It wouldn't be a detail that you would notice imeediately, but after a few months of use and after being a repeat customer to them, you start to notice a stark comparison between the screens that Apple uses when they ship in brand new iPhones versus the screens that iPC Repair uses when they fix your phone. On my last visit here, they fixed the phone, but only partially. I noticed that there was still an opening between the screen and the phone on the top left side. Upon noticing, I sort of had to push down on it in order to snap it back in place myself. The iPhone 5C's home button was also a tad unresponsive as it seemed to still be a little loose. This was after I just left the store. I found that to be pretty peculiar, but I brushed it off and went on with my life. After months of use, the screen is now starting to tear away from the phone a bit more. Please do not use this review to judge their service or their approach to helping their customers. They are a legit business and they take care of their customers very well, so I'm not judging that at all. I actually had planned to go back, but after thinking about my last three visits and the material being used. I don't think I'll be returning. I strongly feel that customers should be wary of the material that iPC uses to fix their customer's phones and computers. Edit: Wow, I didn't expect for the iPC Manager Juan to call me up shortly after reading my review, but he did. He calmly explained the situation regarding the materials that they used to repair phones and wanted to make things right with me. He offered to have me come into the store to get my phone fixed for free. I took him up on his offer. Over the phone, I mentioned about my phone screen slightly coming off as well as issues with the home button. When I arrived at the store, one of the associates at the desk confirmed with Juan over the phone about my situation. However, I guess because I failed to mention anything about the battery over the phone, I would we charged for the replacement for the battery. The associate took consideration of the situation and offered a discount on the battery replacement, but for fixing the screen and getting the home button to work, there was no charge. I thought that was pretty fair so I went ahead with it. I commend this store for taking the time to make sure they keep their customers, because I was for sure thinking about going elsewhere to get my phone fixed today. I'm going to keep my score just for the simple fact that I had been back there already 3 times and noticed problems with the quality of the fixes, but for having the decency to give me call and wanting to work things out, I would say that potential customers who are looking for service will find that iPC Repair does whatever they can to make things right for the customer. read more

My iPhone 6 has been having spotty WiFi and GPS for the past few months and is no longer under warranty since it's over a year old. Many other iPhone 6 owners have been having this problem and I found threads online with DIY repair guides (none of Apple's solutions have worked). I bought the part online on Amazon (an iPhone 6 wifi antenna signal flex cable ribbon) but after reviewing the guide, I realized I had neither the time, patience, nor experience to tackle this and I would rather just pay a professional to do it. I calculated that the cost of buying the necessary tools would be an additional $15-20 plus maybe 1.5-2 hours of work (as a novice) so I kept that in mind as I turned to Yelp for help. Using Yelp's "request a quote" feature, I was able to message my request for labor to replace the wifi antennae to 5 different repair shops in Houston with the click of a button. The messaging system even allowed me to see the average reply time for each business, so I picked the businesses that replied within a few hours. I got multiple replies within the hour with quotes, questions, and advice. I ended up choosing iPC Repair for the job because of its convenient location (so many coffee shops nearby to hang out at while they repaired my phone), its reasonable pricing (other shops quoted me over double their price), its stellar Yelp reviews, and the manager's incredibly fast/helpful replies, including providing me with a time estimate so I could better plan my day. Once I got to the store, I explained my problem to the employees at the desk and they quickly set up a ticket for me. They quoted me a slightly higher price than the one I had received over Yelp, but once I said the manager's name, they immediately honored the price he had given me. I left my phone, returned in 45min, and the repair was done! I powered my phone back on and tested the wifi using the store's guest network, it had full strength. I used my GPS and compass all day and it never once dropped signal like it used to. My wifi was now full strength in the parts of my house that it used to be absent or weak. Much better than paying hundreds of dollars for a total phone replacement or spending hours on the phone with Apple support! The only thing I would do differently is to ask about their repair warranty policy before the repair. I didn't realize this, but because I had brought in my own part, their repair warranty is not in effect. I don't think it would cost a whole lot more to get the repair done using their part but I hated to waste the part I had bought online so I went ahead and just paid for labor without the warranty. Oh well. Very pleased overall with the service, quality of work, employees/manager, and speed at which the store provides its repairs! Will definitely recommend to anyone else who has a problem with their phones or laptops. read more

PLEASE ASK if you're getting an Apple screen before you do the fix. Unlike certain repair shops iPC uses a third party screen by default and does not preface before replacement. Everything looks washed in a vintage sentimentality on my screen now if we are to use euphemisms. Even the handling is off; the screen lacks its usual sensitivity. Their service is fast and efficient. Just be prepared for dusty iPhone saturation if you go with the default screen. read more
