My dad died last week and I have been helping my mom get everything sorted…read more If you've never gone through this experience it is quite grueling, on top of being emotional, since there are just so many things to do you are completely at the mercy of each vendor to close everything out, it can be very very stressful. The rep we spoke to earlier in the week instructed we stop into a store as soon as we got dad's death certificate. So we did. However, this was apparently not the process we were supposed to follow. After helping us get customer service on the line again, Heather, the store manager, hearing how our conversation was going with this second service rep, sat with us and helped walk us through everything. When we hung up for the second time we still didn't have the issue resolved, so she called them again with us. After an hour + in the store, my mom was finally good to go. Now, I've been a Verizon customer since I was 16 years old and I stay with them for their customer service, but don't think I have ever had someone so invested in making sure we had the help we needed. I seriously cannot say thank you enough. The kindness and compassion she showed my mom and I, especially sitting with us through two (in store) calls to customer service, after they told us that they couldn't help, was unparalleled. My wife walked over and picked out a phone case that she really wanted...and we stood and watched people for ten minutes. Couldn't figure out if we were supposed to check in or how to check out. There is no register or customer service...just a few folks with a Verizon polo engaged in pleasantries with random folks strewn around the store. How do I get myself into these things? Don't get me wrong--I LOVE brick and mortar. I won't be back here again unless I have no choice, though. They have lost the art of interacting with people, and their accessory inventory is very limited.

The device's protective case does little to protect the screen from blunt force trauma when the screen itself receives a rather significant direct pinpoint impact with the corner of hard object. The device probably would have been fine if I had just let it hit the floor, but my wanna be ninja reflexes tried to stop it's decent and caused more damage in the save. needless to say, I failed my reflex save. The phone is two years old but it still serves me well and most likely last a few more years. Instead of getting a new phone, which I would have to pay for the cracked screen anyway, I chose to just get this one fixed. Stacy, and several folks we know, have had much success with a local place called the Cell Phone Doctor. (I recommend booking an appointment. They are quite busy. You can book an appointment through their Facebook page. They respond within a couple of hours) I booked my appointment as Fritz Ling. When I paid my bill I provided my full name. Upon hearing the name the owner stopped what he was doing, looked at me with a slightly tilted head, and asked, "Do you know Samantha Fotovich?" I smiled, then responded, "Just a little bit. She's my oldest niece of all five of my favorite nieces. Matter of fact, just this last November my Wife and I officiated her wedding as we made her and Austin promise to be exceptional to each other forever and be best friends for life." We arrived at AT&T store around 9:30 am. There were two customers ahead of us. We browsed the store waiting for the next customer service representative which was 5 minutes. There was one customer service representative assisting an elderly man and a young man that assisted us. I apologize I have forgotten his name. There was a couple waiting on the customer representative waiting on the elderly man and they told us to go ahead and work with the young man. AT&T had a few iPhone 15 ProbMax phones in stock. Hubs selected black and I selected navy blue. They didn't have 2 black phones or 2 blue phones. It wasn't a big deal on the color as navy blue is my favorite color. The Apple Watches were buy one get one free so we purchased a watch each. We saw 3 more customers come in and wait while we were purchasing our phones and watches. After 45 minutes 1of the 3 customers left. The original couple waiting for a customer representative was still waiting along with 2 of the 3 walk in customers. Another 15 minutes later and a second walk in customer left. We had been there 2 hours getting phones and watches set up and I asked why there weren't more people to help. About the time I asked where were more employees a lady customer representative came in to start her shift. It appears they need to hire more employees. Hubs and I had an entry level course on the Apple Watches. As for the Pro Max phones, it was hard for me to get used to not having that "home" button. Old folks need longer than 5 minutes or I do! LOL We are both happy with our new phones and watches. We were in the store about 3 hours to buy 2 phones, 2 watches, 2 chargers, 2 glass protectors, and 2 cases. When we left, the couple that was ahead of us waiting on a different customer service representative were still sitting there waiting. I know I would have been long gone as hubs wouldn't wait 3 hours!

It is in the old Burlington building off University. Upon walking in, 2 sales associates welcomed us and the one closest to us asked if we needed any help. Dave explained why we were there and he and the young man spoke for a few minutes. I walked around looking at all the items. I was asked a couple of times if I needed help. The salesman took Dave straight to a shelf that had several fans on it. They weren't the type of fans we needed. I was impressed this young man knew where the fans were in the store because the store is huge! He knew the type of fan Dave was looking for and he mentioned he didn't think they had what Dave wanted but he would show the fans they did have. The salesman was correct about the fans they had were not the right type. We thanked him for his time and left. 5/5 for customer service and knowledge of fans and where they are. The young man was great.
