This review is for the retail store NOT the kiosk. The kiosk in the mall is franchised out, all they care about is getting your money!! Took my non working galaxy 5s to kiosk first where the guy took one look, didnt take it apart and said its your LCD and its $270 to repair and offered no other hell. What?! I went to the retail space initially to complain that he didnt even try to explore other options, and it was then that they told me kiosks where franchised... long story short, my phone had suffered significant water damage at some point and melanie the lead tech fixed it right up... for 29.99!!!! What a life and money saver she was. AWESOME customer service from her and rest of retail store staff. Get your phone fixed here not at the kiosk, they will rip you off!!! I had a great experience at cellairis today. I had an appointment at apple where they told me they could help me unless I wanted to replace my 1 month old phone for $250 because it would not charge. I went over to Cellairis knowing they usually perfer appintments, just to check if it was a repair they even did. They happily said yes, and had my phone repaired within an hour for a very reasonable price. I left a happy customer. I would reccomemded anyone to go here and get their phone repaired. read more

Walked in with a decently cracked phone, and walked out with a phone from hell. I went to cellairis with the hopes of simply getting my screen replaced care free. After signing a lengthy agreement policy, I handed over my iPhone 7 plus. After the guy said it would just take 30-45 minutes, I came back an hour later sure my phone would be done. After being told the store got "busy" - yet let me remind you I was the first customer and only customer at 10am on a Friday... - I waited 30 more minutes only to come back to my phone still not ready. Instead of being greeted with my flawless faced phone, I was faced with "I am sorry to inform you ma'am but..." which was everything I was NOT looking for. After the man explained that they... yes... THEY... ripped MY Touch ID sensor while repairing my phone and that my home button will no longer work... and better yet, that they don't have a fix for it... I was furious to say the least. They apologized and took $10 off my $103 fix (wow too generous $10 will definitely make me forget the fact my home button is gone every time I try to turn my phone on). Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, my "Proximity sensor" as they so called it - stopped working... meaning that my ear speaker when I call people is now no longer working, and when I call people I have to call them on speaker because normal calling no longer works because I CANT HEAR THEM. When I went back the next day they told me it would be a $60 fix. Lesson learned: don't cheap out. play it safe and get the $120 apple GUARANTEED fix. don't sign your phone over to these people they are plain Greedy and Untrustworthy. $10 and a unusable phone is not what I paid for. read more

Don't waste your money here and go to someone legit. They fixed my cracked iPhone screen but the touch is glitchy. It clicks buttons I didn't press and sucks typing cuz I have to press extra hard to select a button. The price is basically a negotiation. I paid $70 ($74 with taxes). 3rd Visit here for my family. Cracked screens and ear jack stuck in port. Went to 3 places to try to get the ear jack dislodged, including Apple. They all said, "No Way". When I called Cellaris on all 3 occasions, they said, 'No problem- Bring it in- We'll Fix it". And they did each time. I had cracked both the front and back of my Samsung s7 edge so I took it to this location (not the kiosk, the actual walk in store) and I personally gave them a replacement back to my phone that I wanted and when I received my phone fixed I have noticed that cheap back side that is nothing close to what I have given them. I gave them a REAL s7 back replacement and they gave me a cheap one. And when I left the store It wasn't till I got home when a pink line going down the right side of my screen appeared. Needless to say that these people fix phones with 0 regards to your intellectual capacity. But they fixed my phone so 2 stars. But the defect on the "new" front screen knocked it to 1. Never go here, I went here to get my phone screen replaced and was too naive to pick up on red flags when he was negotiating the price to fix my screen instead of having a set price. Anyways talked the clowns down to $90 and had it replaced... worst mistake ever!!!! Not only did they ruin my home button but they also didn't take the blame for it!!! Saying it was my fault like for real?!?! Also my screen has aneurysms at times and they ruined the speaker on the top of my phone. Not to mention that another lady was also having a dispute with them the same day because they also ruined her phone and didn't have it fixed on the time they had told her. I'm going back to get this fixed and this place is just a whole scam and I am very disappointed and would rather have my old SHATTERED screen back then this ow end screen they gave me which killed the way the lighting works on the phone. Thinks Im typing when Im not. Sometimes doesnt register Im typing when I am. A total sham, they'll replace your iPhone glass with weaker glass. The girl told me if it broke within 30 days then I could bring it in again, it was broken by the time I made it home, and no I didn't drop it. I drive all the way back out here and they said no I've never heard of that warrantee policy. $127.49 to replace the iPhone glass and it's broken within 60 minutes of replacement, awesome. read more

Those looking for cell phone or iPad glass repair..BEWARE!! I have now had 2 items repaired by Cellaris. Both repairs, while initially seemed great, lasted less than 2 months before the repaired glass began to crack again, at the initial point of repair. When returned to Cellaris, they would not cover the cost of the repair, claiming that I must have dropped the items again, which I did not. Now I have 2 broken items that I paid $150 each to repair. BEWARE!! before you take your items here and expect the repair to last. read more

Do not get your screen replaced here!!! This place is a total scam. I paid $233 to get my Samsung Galaxy S7 screen replaced here because it was cracked. They told me that the replacement screen had a 90 day warranty. Less than 2 months later the LCD screen went completely black and stopped turning on. I went in to ask them to replace it under the 90 day warranty and they said no because my screen glass had a tiny crack in it. I told the employee that all of my phones and almost every phone I have ever seen has a crack in it but the LCD works fine. He agreed but just said I was unlucky. This is complete garbage just like the products they use to replace the original screens. I went there to get glass replaced on my phone and ended up with a phone that doesn't have a screen at all. SCAM! SCAM Dont go to this place and lose your money to fix a broken screen. Had worst experience, They charged me more than $200!!!! to fix my smartphone screen. Still got display issues and they claim they cant do anything about it. They talk about a FAKE WARRANTY for which they made me visit the shop more than 7 TIMES!!! and finally only to say my warranty expired. Read the other reviews too where few more people had very similar experiences. Ignore the high star rating and other reviews! They have multiple kiosks in the NATICK Mall and all of them are linked. First, I think they're under new ownership/management, but that doesn't seem to matter. I have teenage boys and if you have teenage boys these days you know you're going to be spending time and money fixing their iPhones...frequently. In addition to them, I've brought them two different iPhones for repair...a 6s and an iPhone 7. The 6s they simply couldn't fix and when I brought them my iPhone 7, they replaced the screen but couldn't get the proximity sensor to work afterwards (it worked when I brought my slightly cracked iPhone 7 in). What did that mean? The Proximity sensor puts the display to sleep when you bring the phone up to your ear. Without it, your cheek hits the keypad and beeps incessantly, or worse, mutes the call while you're speaking. Worse yet hangs up. They knocked $10 off and apologized, but ultimately I just ended up spending $1,150 on an iPhone Xs because I use my phone for work. W/R to my son's phones, they fixed my older sons iPhone 5, which was under warranty from Apple (cracked screen, of course). About 3 months later, I brought his phone into Apple for a warranty replacement (it didn't turn on), and Apple brought it in the back of the store to look at it, came out and asked me if anyone had worked on the phone previously. They said screws were missing. I thought about giving them two stars because they are nice in the store, but the quality is bad imho, so one star it is...multiple experiences. read more

Lousy customer service and beware their return policy because they won't tell you until after you've paid for an item that, oh, you can't return it. God forbid there were something wrong with one of their products (which wouldn't surprise me because the cases are not terribly well made). BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really, really, really wish I could give this shit hole no stars. The worst customer service EVER!! I CANT EVEN BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE ARE GIVING THIS PLACE 5 STARS.. THAT IS LAUGHABLE. I went in to buy my sister an iphone case on Black Friday (11/28/14) and granted it wasn't an expensive case, but we walked out not expecting anything to happen. I did not get a receipt because it was either a text or an email and like I said, we didn't expect anything to happen with the case. The next day (11/29/14), my sister was sitting next to me in the car, just typing on her phone, when part of the case cracked and broke. I brought it back to the store and explained to the guy(who I REALLY wish i had gotten his name), he told me that "they don't replace NEWLY DAMAGED ITEMS." Ok, that really pissed me off, if you don't replace NEW damage, what the hell do you replace??? He told me that he could fix the part that broke, to which I said I didn't want to do that in case this crap broke again. He told me that he would do an exchange and that I could pick out another case for $20 that was built a little better, to which I was still not happy about. There was a lady sitting behind the desk who clearly wasn't paying attention, but said that they would exchange the phone. I picked out a case and brought it up to the lady and said asked what would happen if this case broke again. She told me that I could bring it back, so I asked her "Do you not do returns?" to which she responded that you guys DID in fact do returns and when I said that I wanted my money back, she said she thought I just wanted to do an exchange. I asked her what this whole "no new damage" thing was and I explained to her, that my sister was not throwing the case or anything and she said that they don't do returns if the case has significant damage, but she saw that this case didn't. As we were talking the guy came back out front and was VERY RUDE, when he said "you're giving her her money back?! I thought that this was VERY RUDE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have never been treated soo badly by a person as a customer and I have worked customer service my whole life. I DO agree that I was not very nice back to him, and yes, a swear or too might have come out of my mouth. As the lady, who at the end told me that she was the supervisor on duty, came out to ask me who sold me the phone case and give me my money back, the guy came back out front yet again and said "we don't do returns like that." Yet again, beyond rude. I again explained how I had just bought it yesterday and that it broke without her doing anything but holding the HORRIBLE MADE, crap phone case. He proceeded to tell me that I should have read their return policy, which I find funny, because from what I've read the return policy covers 7 DAYS! He even told me that he isn't a manager and gave me some more attitude and was still very rude. To which, yes, I responded that he could go fuck himself for his HORRIBLE customer service. If he is not a manager, he should not be giving RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOR SHOULD HE BE GOING AGAINST WHAT HIS SUPERVISOR SAID. I told this lady that the customer service here is horrible and she said that she would talk to him, but I highly doubt it. I ALSO CONTACTED YOUR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE. I wonder if you can look up who was working 11/29/14 and talk to your horrible staff. i have recently had my phone fixed here about a week ago and now my phone keeps glitching this isn't somethings that has only happened once though because the same thing happened to my last phone. i don't know if it is just the cellairis that i go to (though i went to two different cellairis's) but this problem needs to be fixed because i cant keep getting new phones every time it breaks just because i know that i cant get the screen replaced. so i would suggest not wasting your time here unless cellairis will replace my phone. read more

I had a horrible experience. As soon as we got my phone back that was getting a cracked screen repaired we noticed that the screen was freezing up. We said something to the guy and he said he didn't know he worked at the booth next to that one. He said that if we had problems we could come back with the receipt. The phone is barely functionable. You can not scroll or move anywhere on the screen. The screen freezes up multiple times a day and has to be rebooted in order to work. On the receipt that we were given it says headphones. I paid almost $200. read more

I went to Cellairis for a friend who had gone to "ifix" otherwise known as THIEF!!! Erin is the manager - she was awesome as was her staff. They were knowledgeable, polite and really knew what they were doing. They not only fixed all the damage the ifix guy did - but, Erin tested the screen after putting one on and realized it wasn't perfect so she replaced that! So So So happy that I was referred to them by an Apple employee!!! read more

BE VERY CAREFUL OF SCREEN REPAIRS: GALAXY S4 GLASS CHANGE IS A SHAM I relatively recently dropped my Samsung Galaxy S4 and cracked the screen, thanks to a faulty case that I've since changed. Everything worked well, except that the front glass was cracked, so I wanted to get that changed to avoid more damage in the future. I set up an appointment, walk into the store, and they tell me that a glass replacement will cost $130, that it's a relatively risk-free procedure, and so I decide to go for it. After being rushed through signing their contract (would not recommend), and being warned that the fix would be $230 IF the repair went poorly and they broke the LCD screen, I spent an hour and 40 minutes away while my phone was being repaired, and picked it up, with the people at Cellairis telling me that the fix had gone well and I had nothing to worry about. Afterwards, I quickly began noticing problems with the touch screen, notably that it would switch between too responsive (clicking randomly in places where I wasn't doing anything, meaning that web browsing involved clicking on lots of ads and typing was impossible) to not responding to my touch, making the phone impossible to unlock at times. Typing in particular was awful, as certain parts of the screen would not work and the "swipe" option was impossible to use. I brought my phone back in, and they told me that my problems were in fact very common, that they were covered in the contract, and that the only thing to be done about them was to shell out an additional $100 for a "full assembly" repair. When I told them that I found this pretty sketchy, as my phone had been working perfectly before and got significantly worse as a result of the glass change, they explained why I think Cellairis is a sketchy company. In order to pry off the glass for the glass change, they must apply extreme heat to deal with the adhesive underneath. Doing this destroys the "heat transfer" film between glass and LCD, resulting in significantly worsened responsiveness when they put another piece of glass on. In addition, whenever they do the glass change, there are inevitably bubbles that will pop up now and again between the glass and LCD, which are annoying but easy to remove. The salesperson told me that they knew that the glass change was a faulty fix, but that it existed to provide owners of damaged phones with a "more cost-effective" way to fix their devices. I had to get the full assembly repair (phone works well now, mercifully enough), which, coming out to $230, all things considered, represents a significant portion of the cost of a new S4. So, all things considered, if you're going to get a Galaxy S4 repaired here, know that you're going to have to spend $230 instead of the advertised $130, as the glass repair is a total sham and should not be offered as an independent fix. EDIT: I understand that the damage was covered in the contract I signed, and I'm thankful for both the excellent full assembly repair and for the managerial response to my review. To reiterate, my glass change was as successful as it gets. Technicians said that everything went very well, and when I came in with more problems, these were presented as being NORMAL and COMMON after a glass change. Meaning, mine was one of the 80% of successful repairs, however, it was unusable. The warning that there might be damaged in the case of an unsuccessful repair did not prepare me for the fact that a successful repair dramatically diminished the usability of my phone, which seems like a shameful and dishonest business practice, if a profitable one. read more

I would be careful. They fixed my sons iPad screen but the iPad doesn't work anymore. The home button doesn't work it won't restore it won't reset what a waste of money. I also have emailed and texted and Facebook and called will see if anybody responds. I would love my money back! read more

I've had several phones fixed at Cellaris...their work has been pretty good. The problem I've had is that I purchased lifetime warranty on screen replacements for my Son's phones...was told that anytime I brought them in, they would be fixed at n/c and that they would keep the warranty in their records and I could take it to any store. Seems that since I purchased the warranties, the company was sold and now customer service tells me they have no record of my warranties. I have reached out to customer service 3 times and still have not recieved a call. They won'y get anymore of my business read more

TERRIBLE: I went to the location in Marrietta, GA at the Walmart Superceter on August 11, 2017, where I purchased a new glass screen and screen protector for my iPhone 7. Exactly 4 days later I woke up in the morning noticing 2 cracks under the screen protector without my phone even dropping. I've left a comment on the website and called the corporate number and have yet to hear a response. I went back to Cellaris today to explain my issue hoping they will fix it at no cost. The customer service was horrible, the guy kept talking over me and blaming me for the issue. I just don't see how the screen protector never cracked but my phone did and how does the glass just crack overnight without dropping. I can tell the guy knew the screen was faulty or repaired incorrectly, he just refused to let me speak and explain myself (terrible customer service). Now I'm a stay at home mom who spent $127 to get my iPhone repaired not expecting that I will be giving away free money for a faulty screen to be placed back on my phone. This place is a scam and when you call the corporate office, they never answer but ask you to leave a voicemail to return your call...just go to your cell phone provider and get it fix, it'll save you the headache. oh and now the right side of my touchscreen is not working properly. BEWARE!!!! They will guarantee their work and not live up to it. They installed a NEW digitized LCD screen for an IPhone 6 that was about three months old. a couple of days later it stopped working. Took it to Apple and was told they missed screws and a screen and messed up the motherboard. Plus Apple could not do anything because I tool it to these morons!!! When I went to let them know the guy put a tiny flashlight on the screen and said "look it turns on but theres water damage" get out of town!!!! this phone has NEVER been dropped in water!!! He said he could put a used lcd screen so I can take it to my service provider to insure it. he said that way he would not lose money!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I had brought my phone in to get the screen fixed, there was nothing wrong with it other than the cracked screen. When I left the store and went home I realized the cameras were not working and I couldn't hear any calls, and they could hear me. The employee had broken my phone so I brought it back in to be re fixed by someone else. When he opened my phone to see what was wrong he said that the last guy fixing my phone had cut some cords inside the device and he had to order them. They were supposed to call me Monday to tell me the part was in. They never called. So we went in Wednesday. The man said the order had been canceled but then pulled out a new piece right from the back. He did fix the camera in about an hour, but broke my home button and microphone. He also did not glue the screen back on properly so my phone is currently being held together with scotch tape. I made an appointment at the Apple Store and I recommend everyone does the same even though it costs more. They actually fix your phone and not break it more I wish I could give 0 stars but that's not an option. Edit- I just went to get my money back. It was a 20 minute argument with the manager through the phone and we finally got $130 out of $170 refunded. The manager claimed we still owed them money because they did fix my screen. Unacceptable. Cellairis in Perimeter Mall ruined my new month old iphone. I took it for a screen repair because it dropped and the screen cracked. I have a number of problems on my iphone now and before the repair I had none. For one, it took way longer than he said it would which I kind of expected since there was a couple of other phones there so he told me to come back in 20-30min so I did. Well when I came back my phone hadnt even been touched so I had to wait another 20min and I came back again and ended up leaving after the mall closed. Well the moment he handed my phone back it was acting up. The screen wasn't even sealed like It is when you have an actual apple screen as still isn't. I'm able to lift it with my fingers. It wasn't sensing my touch and id have to lock it and unlock for it to work. Then my battery was jumping from 1% to 100% and it was restarting and stuck on boot loop for almost an hour. I took it back the next day and he fixed the charging issue but not the touch screen issue. I couldn't stay as I had to work but weeks later I came back and he told me I probably needed to update it so I did and it worked so I though oh okay cool. Well now my phone is stuck on a boot loop and has been for about 5 days now and it won't charge past 1% or 2% and will jump to 100% and reboots within 2 min of me using it. I don't know if this is related to Cellairis but despite their wonderful personalities, I did not have a good first experience with them. read more
