Siri kept coming on & when I would try to turn off it would take pics, so I brought it right back & it was instantly fixed again FREE... They warranty all their work. I had met with the owner & he was a great guy, walked me through the mechanics of it & how it happens and then just replaced no questions. It was my fault thinking they could fix my drone considering they are a cell phone repair shop. The price I was initially quoted for a fix took them over two months to then finally tell me it was going to be more than what I was quoted. Almost $150 more. I opted not to get it fixed. I've had 3 experiences here and none of them were good. 1- my dad broke his phone. I took it to get fixed, and while it does work it glitches all of the time which is something it never did before. 2- I broke my iPhone 7 Plus' camera over the summer. Just the glass though so I decided to get it fixed. It cost me $145 I believe which was fine I didn't mind paying I just wanted it fixed. When I went in I asked the man at the counter to please clean the camera before putting the new glass on it because since I had cracked the original glass a lot of dust and dirt had got on the camera. He assured me he would clean it properly. I get my phone back an hour and a half later and I look at the second camera is still filthy. I was unable to use portrait mode because the dust and dirt made it fuzzy! I took it home with me anyways Because I had stuff to do and knew they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Fast forward to the next day and I go jogging. I had my phone in my hand and apparently the camera wasn't on correctly because when I went to go use it when I got home my camera was completely fogged over on the inside. I'm assuming this is from my body heat while jogging but this has never happened before. It took a long time for it to finally clear up. Also the camera was not placed properly on and I could see the glue on the edges. Also a lot of the times when I would try and use my camera it would be a black screen and start glitching out. The only way to fix it was to shut my phone off twice and then MAYBE it would start to work again. 3- the final straw I had was when the camera I paid $145 to replace broke. And I was left with half the glass on and half off. This is due to the glue I could see on the edges. I'm assuming it came undone. You'd think this was under warranty right? Well no. It wasn't. The man wanted me to pay $90 to replace the glass again even though it was their fault for not putting it on properly the first time!! I got him to take the pride down to $50 Which is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of one. By the time I got my phone back ( I asked them to clean the first again and they did not) the portrait mode was still blurry and the camera was still glitchy. I ended up just going to sprint and upgrading my phone because I was sick of the issues I had with it. Honestly I wouldn't go here, just pay the extra money and go to Apple because at least you know they know what they are doing. read more

$130 for nothing. My 16 y/o son brought his iPad in with a bent case and broken touchscreen. CPR "tried" to straighten the case, could not, so they replaced the touchscreen only, WHICH IS POINTLESS as the case and screen are a system which must be perfectly aligned. ANY QUALIFIED TECH WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS. Needless to say, the new touch screen cracked within a couple of days. Went back, in good faith, to see if they would do the repair correctly and give some consideration for the wasted $130. Owner Mike and Tech Josh accepted zero responsibility for the HACK repair and offered an insulting $20 off doing the job right ... another $220! I am SO glad I found these guys this morning. Dropped my phone in a full sink and it got water logged, right before I had to go to work. Rushed to Verizon who sent me here. I had no idea they even existed!! Customer service was excellent. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Shout out to Mike, and the manager, John. I zoomed in after I ended up staying late at my work, right before they closed. John was kind enough to stay well past their close time to get my phone up and running. (Life saver, John, life saver.) This place is incredible. Sometimes you see a place with 100% 5 stars and you can't help but wonder if they're false reviews. However, I came in to CPR and gave the team a shot. To say that Mike, John, and Tom are incredible is such an understatement. The screen on my new Samsung S7 Edge was utterly destroyed but they ordered the parts, told me it would take about 3-7 days for the part to come in so I paid half of the cost as deposit. When I come across exceptional customer service, I am sure to report it. In general, I'm the friend who asks to speak to a manager to report great service in a restaurant or retail store, leaving my friends blushing in a corner. Today, I encountered the best service in a long time, and I hope that my review draws more business to this company, because they deserve it! I had a long term problem with my iPhone 5, and it seemed un-fixable until I found CPR in Saugus today. First of all, the store opens at 12:00 on Sundays, but I was not aware of this. I pulled up around ten minutes before opening time, realized that I was early, and headed back to my car, completely happy to wait. Mike, the store owner, was leaving his car and heading towards the entrance. He welcomed me inside, and immediately asked what he could help me with. Now, I just want to clarify that I have worked retail in the past, and I know that people who show up early or shop late can be a nightmare. Mike welcomed me and addressed the problem with my phone immediately. He introduced me to John, the store manager who would be fixing my phone, and was very clear about timing and what needed to be fixed. The repairs took longer than initially expected, which was another problem, not their fault- yet Mike and John kept me updated throughout the day (thank goodness for a landline). I am more than impressed on what I was charged! I also have to say, as someone who doesn't really understand the electronic terminology, I have been treated in a subpar way in the past. John and Mike helped me to understand what was wrong without making this teacher with a Masters' degree feel any less intelligent. Thanks guys! Overall, I was extremely impressed. John and Mike went above and beyond today! I left the store with a stack of business cards to share with friends and family. I hope I don't need to come back, but if I do, I will! read more

Over the past few years I have always gone to CPR for any apple device repair. I was even at CPR a few weeks ago getting my iPad repaired. But today, it wasn't that great of a experience. I dropped my phone off roughly before 4 and was told it would be ready between 1.5 hours to 2.0 hours. I provided my husbands phone number to contact me once my phone was ready. I didn't hear back but I headed to CPR around 6:10 because the store hours are 10-7. When I got there the store was closed and I noticed a small torn piece of paper stuck to the door labeled "temporary hours" and that they close at 6. I wasn't informed that they close at 6 from the guy who was fixing my phone. He didn't suggest that there was a possibility of him not completing that phone but he did guarantee that it would be done and that he would call. I received no phone call as I would before when my phone was fixed. After calling multiple times and messaging the store through their website I got in contact with the owner. He was very understanding and did take the time to come reopen the store after I told him it's extremely important that I have my phone due to my work responsibility's. It wasn't until 7:30 that he got to the store which was over a hour after I originally arrived at the store. I was then let in and provided with my phone and charged the full price even after the owner stated to me that the employee who worked on my phone lied to him saying he called me saying my phone was done. I told the owner that was a lie because I had no missed calls from CPR. The employee said my phone just "beeped" when he called. It seems to me that I was the only one making the concessions to get my phone back. Although the owner was apologetic I expected that there would be some kind of discount for all the obstacles I had to face with getting my phone back. For the fact that experience cost me $184 for a crack screen repair is enough for me and hopefully others to never use CPR again. read more

Outstanding service. My daughter needed the top screen on her 3DS replaced, and I was hoping to have it done quickly as a surprise when she got back from a few days away. So I called CPR. Mike went above and beyond in calling parts suppliers to find the right part and in trying to get expedited parts delivery to make the date I asked for. He was back and forth on the phone with me for half a day keeping me updated on their progress in finding parts. While they were not able to get the right parts in time, that's not their fault. In the end they did fantastic work at a fair price with great communication and a lifetime warranty on their work. John is awesome he went above as beyond and got my photos and contacts! Was kind enough to get my water phone up and running before I got on the road from Boston in rush hour traffic with the new phone to swap data over. He swapped my info onto the new phone and I left so happy I had my son's graduation and Prom photos! Never ever go here. I was told it was going to take overnight to fix my sons Moto Z play. Then they had to get a new frame. I would have it back Thursday. Then I called and they said the frame would be there Saturday. I called Saturday and they said the tracking number now said Tuesday. Well now it is Tuesday and they are saying tomorrow. So a week later and almost $300. They can't put my phone back together and I have nothing they have not offered to help or make it better in any way. read more

While I have never had a major repair, this place is my go-to place for cell phone repair. The vibrate/ringer button on my iPhone was completely jammed. They explained cleaning it out - which might work - would be no charge. If it required an initial "once-over" it would be $35 which would then be applied towards the repair. I had all the information and facts so I could make an educated decision. Thankfully the cleaning worked! They saved me a lot of aggravation and money. I was in a panic because our iPad mini screen broke 2 days before a long flight with a 2-year old! Anyone with kids knows that iPads are a complete lifesaver when it comes to trips with lots of travel. This place is AMAZING. The absolute best! This is the second time I cracked my phone screen this summer. The first time I brought it to staples but was having trouble scheduling an appointment so was looking elsewhere. This place was close, fast, and reasonably priced. Thank goodness I called them turns out when I went for my appointment they discovered that the staples technician had put my phone back all wrong. Screws missing and screws loose. Because of this my phone took a little longer to fix which I didn't mind at all I was so happy they were willing to correct all of the mistakes at no extra charge. They even threw in a free tempered glass screen because of the extra wait (which really was not even that long! Maybe an extra half hour which is not bad considering how disastrous my phone was) Bottom line is my phone works great now and everyone that worked there was so kind and explained what was happening every step of the way! Amazing customer service and so quick, literally had a repaired phone on an hour. After a long weekend at my mother's house my phone stopped taking a charge and I ended up taking it over to Cambridge mall to get it looked at at a kiosk Ifix, they got lint out of it but didn't do anything after that and said it was fine. After getting home it wasn't even charging. So I took a ride up to CPR and John M. Greeted me and assured me that my phone would be all fixed and ready an hour later right before they closed and it was a Sunday! When I picked it up it was like new and charging up! The best customer service I have received in a very long time! I went in after seeing all the great reviews. My Acer tablet stopped charging and it would not power on. It is 2 years old, so I knew it was probably time for a new one. Ariel took his time and let me leave it there all day while he somehow got it to full charge. Just amazed me! So, while he discussed trying to fix it, he said it really was not worth it, plus it could break in the fixing process, so I opted for a new tablet. He had a Samsung tablet in the store for sale a bit out of my price range. The store owner called me the following day and offered a deal on that tablet I could not refuse. He is kind to hold it until next week. I am bringing in my old computer to have it tuned up and will go nowhere else for all my electronic needs. These guys are AWESOME. I came in with my iphone 6 that I dropped on tile floor...black lines all up and down the screen, with a little crack. I had my screen replaced before by one of those mall kiosks, and they seemed to have replaced it wrong. They broke a sensor in it! CPR found it for me and offered to fix it, along with giving me $10 off the screen repair and a free glass screen protector for memorial day weekend. They are so honest about everything going on with your phone and I cannot see myself going anywhere else for my future inevitable phone repairs. CPR is excellent. I would choose CPR for any cell phone problem you may be having. Avoid going to your carrier store, Apple or Mall Kiosk repair shops and make CPR your go to repair shop. They replaced 2 batteries in both my iPhones and also installed a tempered glass screen protector. Work quality was excellent and pricing was very fair. Mike, the owner of the shop, was there when I was there and was friendly and very helpful. All of the staff was also very professional. Not understanding all the good reviews here. Took my phone here after trying to replace my charge port myself and not succeeding. 99% sure it was the port but probably had a loose connection. They told me the new port i had bought was no good. They handed me back the "bad port" but it was a completely different part than I had installed 3 hours before. They both lied to my face saying no way it could be a different one even though the one they handed me was gold instead of black, plastic parts instead of stainless, and had a few other different features. They basically took an hour and a half to reconnect the charge port I had already installed and charged me for a new one. Don't trust this scumbag owner who lies to customers faces. Wanted to take the additional time and get a review here on Yelp. Contacted a couple places to replace the screen on my Moto Z3 Play - many places quoted at least a week to get the screen in. Spoke with Mike here and got a timeline of only a few days and a very fair price. Called, left my deposit (for out of stock screen orders, it's half the price which I'm totally fine with). Got the call less than two days later that it was there and dropped it off on a Friday morning. They said to give them a couple hours to make sure it's fit correctly and they can take their time. Came back a little less than that and it was ready. The team here is knowledgeable, friendly, and are extremely responsive. I had other places say they wouldn't give me a quote until I showed up, so it was refreshing to get one (that they stuck with) at the beginning of the conversation. 100% would recommend over anyone else. read more
