    General Purpose Light Lager

This is a wonderful go-to brewery with delicious beers. We love the whipped series of fruit sours, light lagers, and pale ales. The food is also fantastic, particularly the pizza and soft pretzel.

Great beer selections, cool atmosphere, delicious food & entertainment (games and sometimes music). The service wasn't great, but the fact that they had Leona's ice cream sandwiches made up for it. Would recommend to others and go back again!

This little gem is worth the drive to Sarver. The Cocoa Bean Stout is bomb. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. The space is welcoming and cool. The patio is fabulous, as well.

A small brewery but a great vibe to hang out and try some new brews. Very polite and helpful staff to help navigate the menu.

Good brews! Food menu is limited but very tasty choices. The Ribeye French Dip, Charcuterie and Margherita Pizza are stand outs!

It didn't take us long to make this a regular place to go. The beers are great, although my favorites are juicy IPAs and I tend toward this style. The staff there is mostly friendly, we all have off days. ;) The food, from Freedom Farms, is very good and offers generous portions. I deducted a half point from my review because they do not keep an updated menu on their website. The beer selection is updated regularly, though. We went last week, expecting to have dinner and beer to get us out of the house because we were going winter stir-crazy, and were surprised to find food truck-style offerings from a bbq place instead of our favorite Freedom Farms fare.. It was pretty good, but as a warning to those who are unfamiliar, when you order "pulled brisket" what you get is a scoop of meat in a paper bowl. There was a brocolli salad that sounded good for $5, but at that point the line was long and I just didn't want to bother. Husband thought that the pulled pork mac&cheese was really good. I will return again on a Thursday to check out the taco food truck, it may be more what I want from a meal. Can't wait for warmer weather, we love sitting outside in the greenhouse area. The main building can get pretty loud, especially when a lot of kids are running free.

For "new (to me) brewery Sunday" we stopped at the beer crib after a trip up north for a bit. The atmosphere outside is very relaxing in the flowery greenhouse and swings. There's plenty of seating between those options plus the corn silos. There's a disc golf course as well as a kitchen that has a smoky smell that was amazing. Bartenders offered quick service. It has about half the tap list vs the millvale location, not sure if that was just due to the end of the weekend or if that's normal. But only 5-6 beers. Thoroughly enjoyed this stop, wish it was closer!

It's beside Cafe Monaco and if it's busy good luck finding a spot nearby. I went mid day on a Sunday and after some circling the block found a nearby spot. I think the venue itself is very nice. It's fresh looking and inviting. Because it was one of the warm days recently they had the whole front opened up and that was nice. It seems to have a hometown client base, I say that because everyone seemed to know each other or at least someone else there. They had a food truck setting up when I was there but I don't try it. The selection, while not huge was solid. I decided to try a DIPA and a TIPA and both were decent. The folks working were accommodating. If I get back over that way I'll be sure to stop by and try another drink or two.

I'm a lousy golfer but certainly appreciated a cold drink after walking around the golf course all day. Local Remedy is a brewery in Oakmont. It is in the main business district. Garage doors open to offer fresh air. There are picnic tables outside and they encourage you to order from any of Oakmont's various restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly, offering quick service and great recommendations. There were non-alcoholic options for those who did not drink in our party. We enjoyed it enough that we came back twice over three days.

I never could understand why people eat outside in downtown places where cars drive by them 5 feet away. The beers were OK, nothing really special but OK. They have a little bar outside so getting a refill was quick and easy. The don't serve any kind of hard spirits. My wife isn't a beer drinker so one of the bartenders at the inside bar mixed her up a drink with seltzer and something else(tea) which she found to be quite tasty, so i tipped her generously for having the ambition to please a customer. Where they fell down IMO was their pizza. It just wasn't very good. We had several versions of their Sicilian to choose from. The cheese was generous, but the crust was doughy and heavy, the sauce was flavorless, and the toppings were very stingy. A big piece of Sicilian pizza with 3 slices of pepperoni is not good. I checked out their menu and was stunned at the prices they are getting for those pizzas. WAY overpriced. Of course i didn't have to pay for them since it was a party, but knowing what their pizza is like i would never go back there and pay those prices. The wings were just OK, pretty mediocre. Parking is a joke. No where near enough spots for the size of the place. Overall it was just OK, i would not return. There are better places for the same or less money.

Also had a pint of the strawberry cheesecake sour, which I guess is popular. It was very good, but a bit too sweet/sour for a full pint. Great selection of beer, upper tier brewery in greater Pittsburgh, stellar prices and I'll be baaaaaack. There was a band playing on the patio, not my thing, a "suburban barbeque joint / sauce rockabilly" typa group....but it's fine.
