We visited another brewery and last week was one that opened up 6 weeks ago. This one opened up 3 weeks ago, so it's as new as it gets. Easy to find in a shopping center. Walk in and it's limited space on seating but we had the best seats looking out the window enjoying our beers. They had three hazy ipas which were fabulous. I liked them all which each was different than one another but good. I liked this brewery. Good beers, nice and new, franks pizza is around the corner and they deliver. It's a win win for everyone. Can't wait to visit again.

This place is nestled way out in the burbs of Glenshaw in an industrial setting. With that said, it's a relaxing atmosphere to sit and sip a pour on a hot summer day. The signage is a small sandwich board and if you're not paying attention you'll miss it. The interior is a small counter walk up for purchases. In the summer months there are a few tables outside under canopies for sitting. Several beers to choose from on tap as well as canned. The craft beers they're putting out are so delicious. I can't even pick a favorite but if I had to it would be the caramel porter and the Dubbel Secret Probation. Hours and days are limited: Friday 5-8 pm Saturday 1-9 pm Worth the drive out from the city!

Nice little place tucked away behind a dollar tree. Comfy sitting area. Local eatery/food truck available evenings. Draft mocktails available with option to add liquor from a local distillery. Service was attentive.

    Open windows ready for Summer!

An amazingly wide lineup of craft beers! Want a solid, drinkable pale ale or NEIPA? Got it. Want a spicy Saison? Good there too. Interested in something more adventurous, say a smoked lager or an oak aged triple? No problem. Acrospire is a winner for all beer styles preferences. No food yet, but there's QR codes for pizza around the corner and food trucks in the works. Check out their new taproom featuring open windows and live music this Summer!

Enjoyed every beer they had on tap and enjoyed the growler that I brought back to the hotel. You can really see the thought in brewing that went into each batch, the flavor profiles were complex and on point! Can't wait to see what they have on tap next and how this place expands in the future.

Yes, it's a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. Allusion is a beer oasis tucked between life's greatest challenges: renewing your license and resisting discount snacks. Inside, it's clean, cozy, and no frills, which is exactly what you want when the beer is doing all the talking. And let me tell you, the beer has a lot to say. We tried the 1810 Oktoberfest and As You Wish (which made me feel like I was being serenaded by Wesley from The Princess Bride), and both were excellent. We also grabbed a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and a Reuben, each paired with a cup of clam chowder that was creamy, comforting, and possibly made with magic (or butter, which is basically the same thing). The proprietor was friendly, knowledgeable, and doing everything short of brewing the beer mid-conversation. Honestly, if he'd started juggling pint glasses, I wouldn't have been surprised. Long story short: the beers are top-notch, the food hits the spot, and the vibe is low-key awesome. Allusion has earned a spot on our regular rotation, and possibly a spot in our hearts.

I never could understand why people eat outside in downtown places where cars drive by them 5 feet away. The beers were OK, nothing really special but OK. They have a little bar outside so getting a refill was quick and easy. The don't serve any kind of hard spirits. My wife isn't a beer drinker so one of the bartenders at the inside bar mixed her up a drink with seltzer and something else(tea) which she found to be quite tasty, so i tipped her generously for having the ambition to please a customer. Where they fell down IMO was their pizza. It just wasn't very good. We had several versions of their Sicilian to choose from. The cheese was generous, but the crust was doughy and heavy, the sauce was flavorless, and the toppings were very stingy. A big piece of Sicilian pizza with 3 slices of pepperoni is not good. I checked out their menu and was stunned at the prices they are getting for those pizzas. WAY overpriced. Of course i didn't have to pay for them since it was a party, but knowing what their pizza is like i would never go back there and pay those prices. The wings were just OK, pretty mediocre. Parking is a joke. No where near enough spots for the size of the place. Overall it was just OK, i would not return. There are better places for the same or less money.

I tend towards lighter beers, and they had several great options for me (don't worry, there are plenty of darker beers and higher-alcohol-percentage brews; I just didn't order them). There are three or four bars, along with a stage and places for food trucks. The bars are all linked, so you can open a tab at one and it'll be available at the others as well. Super friendly service. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was well-staffed with very cool employees. The atmosphere is nice, too, and I appreciated the poster on one wall explaining the meaning of "Grist House". You can bring dogs too! Some very nice dogs were present on this particular Saturday. Next time I'm coming through this way, I will definitely be stopping by again. * Note: it's a brewery, of course, but they do offer some wines and their own cocktail concoctions.

My girl friends and I came after four years of me wanting to come here. I love Gravel Grinder and live close to an OTB so heard of Dancing Gnome from that. Finally made our way there and well, make sure you do not bring young kids. My friend had an 18 month old with us and as she was BUYING a beer from them, the guy who worked there asked if she "could keep the screaming to a minimum." An eighteen month old!!! And Mother's Day is tomorrow, nice. He said that they had to draw a line somewhere and he wasn't kidding. The 18 month old was not running around screaming crying all day. We were outside having the kids play and when my friend was buying a beer he got a bit fussy and was told to keep it to a minimum. Needless to say, we will NOT be coming back. If you have small children, I would not suggest this place. Super disappointing. I've always hyped their beer and place up and now I can't support it. We ended up going to Grist House and it was a WAY better vibe and WAY busier...I wonder why. I should have known when their sign said no dogs allowed.

Great selection of beer, upper tier brewery in greater Pittsburgh, stellar prices and I'll be baaaaaack.
