We tried the 1810 Oktoberfest and As You Wish (which made me feel like I was being serenaded by Wesley from The Princess Bride), and both were excellent. We also grabbed a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and a Reuben, each paired with a cup of clam chowder that was creamy, comforting, and possibly made with magic (or butter, which is basically the same thing). The proprietor was friendly, knowledgeable, and doing everything short of brewing the beer mid-conversation. Honestly, if he'd started juggling pint glasses, I wouldn't have been surprised. Super friendly service. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was well-staffed with very cool employees. For this brewery we had two different types of beers. Both very solid and good. The first beer was the Streetlight Stars. This beer was a Cream Ale which I do really enjoy when I can get a hold of one. Flavor highlights in this beer are creamy, a hint of sweet corn, crisp and a clean finish. It's also a nice light bodied beer. The other beer was the Midnight Blue which is a porter. This was good too with it's flavor characteristics of Cocoa, Malty, Smokiness and a dry finish. It's a nice, dark beer to have. So definitely a good and promising start with this brewery with the two beers we had!
