I found this gem because I was in the area for a work event and checked to see if their was a Pour Tour location nearby. What a great find! I was surprised to see it already packed at 4:00 on a weekday, but I soon found out why. They have a great selection of drinks, food and the staff was wonderful. Their food menu has appetizers, entrees and pizzas. It was nice because there was a variety of price options and both smaller and larger portion options. I ordered one of the flatbreads and it was delicious! Packed with flavor, bread not soggy and loaded with ingredients. I sampled a few beers and settled on their seasonal brew (I'm not remembering the name). It was happy hour, so I was pleasantly surprised that my beer was $1 off from the price on the menu board. The inside feels cozy and welcoming. I really enjoyed the decor. I was told their wings are great and they have wing specials, so I'm sure I'll come back to try their wings! read more

We stop in here for craft brews and a quick dinner about once a month or so. We like sitting at the bar. The staff is always informed and friendly. The hours and menu change alot and I think consistency of both would serve their guests much better. The menu they offer is usually quality, fresh and delicious. I wound up going here with a friend and enjoyed it. We went on a Friday after work, so it became very busy, but the staff couldn't have been friendlier. I didn't eat, but they seem to have a decent sized food menu with the kind of food you'd expect at a brewery (pizza, sandwiches, etc.), and they also seem to have regular specials such as smoked chicken night. They appear to have activities pretty regularly such as music trivia night, so that helps add a little fun into your evening out. They have a pretty nice list of draft options and they also have a decent sized cooler with 6-packs to take with you. Their Facebook page does a solid job on advertising specials and events, so they do give a heads up on the happenings. read more

First time visit. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was very good ( bar food choices) and great selection of beers and drinks. Generous food sizes, I had the Italian melt ( and I was VERY hungry) and it was perfect sure to satisfy. My wife had the two piece chicken dinner ( and brought 1/2 of it home). Our friends had the Turkey BLT and the Chicken Wrap. They both took home half of their meals.....I told you I was hungry! This place was on our trail for the Laurel highland pour tour. This place says it's in new Kensington but felt more like lower Burrell. The place has lots of parking, cute little place inside. They have a great setup inside with many beers to choose from. They also have cider and wine from local areas. I loved the atmosphere at this brewery. I loved the beer. Had the west coat and hazy IPA, wife had apple beer. The bartenders were super friendly and nice. Prices are reasonable. They have a decent food menu as well. We had the Buffalo chicken pizza which amazing. Such a great find due to Laurel highlands pour tour that we would have never went to and happy we did can't wait to attend. read more

Conny Creek is hands down one of our favorite places to go in the Alle-Kiski Valley, and for good reason. Unlike some of the pretender restaurants in the Lower Burrell, NK, and Kiski Township area, Conny Creek is the real deal. It is family-owned, and the people who work here -- the chefs, cooks, waitstaff, and bartenders -- are genuine, friendly, and hardworking. They make you feel at home every time you visit. It is also smoke-free! Ownership matters, and we appreciate the humility and sincerity of the owners at Conny Creek. We feel fantastic about spending our money here because we know it goes to good people who care about their customers. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the prices are more than fair. But most of all, the food is outstanding. It's a cross between a backyard picnic and your mom or grandmother's simple homecooked flavor. The dishes are delicious. While we do enjoy the beer, we do think there is much room for improvement. We would love to see new and innovative styles that are not too gimmicky. For example, we would love to see a rich, Russian imperial stout without the coffee and lactose. As for the IPAs, we think ownership should focus on making something rich and delicious, rather than adding fruits or weird additives and flavors. We've had stouts and IPAs at other places that we think hit the mark, but we like Conny Creek better (the establishment, not the beer) and want them to up their game (think: Pliny the Elder; Heady Topper; Old Rasputin or Bell's Expedition as commercial benchmarks. Allusion and The Brick House have stouts and IPAs that raise the game). One MAJOR criticism we have is the obsession with "all local ingredients." While we appreciate the effort to source locally, people want the best-tasting beer possible. They don't care about the origin of the ingredients as much as they care about the flavor. In conclusion, we love Conny Creek, and we think it's on the verge of greatness. With a few minor tweaks to the beer offerings, it could be one of the best (if not the best) places to go in the area. read more

Cool place... definitely a cool hotspot in Lower Burrell. ** Kitchen is not open yet - no food served (as of February). We inquired about food and were told they are working on it. We loved the décor.. modern .. cool bar top.. solid wood looks custom made. The prices I must say were very reasonable!! IPA's etc.. $4.75 a glass for most.. pretty awesome!!! Went on their wing night. Place was crowded but not overwhelmingly loud, you could still hold a conversation and hear yourself think. The IPAs I tried were excellent, and the smoked wings were great as well esp. with the mustard bbq sauce. If I still lived in the area I'd be back at least once a week. read more

Three of us went on a Saturday night and the girl playing piano, trumpet, and singing was really good! I appreciated that she was singing more jazz music because I really love it! The beer was good and plentiful and the atmosphere was really fun. However. i'm sad to say that I was pretty disappointed with the food. We tried cheesesteak eggrolls and they were pretty small and hardly any filling. I was very excited to get a Ruben since it was around St. Patrick's Day but unfortunately it was made with lunch meat cuts of corned beef and not the real thing. The macaroni and cheese also did not taste very good and I could tell it wasn't homemade. There was nothing inherently "bad" about the food, but it just didn't meet my expectations. I would definitely come back for a beer and for some more jazz music but unfortunately not for the food. read more

This is a perfect spot for the social crew. Warm lighting and spacious seating set the stage for a great experience. Conny Creek's bartenders are friendly and efficient. Their beer is good and the prices are reasonable. During my visit I sampled a sour, stout, and two IPA's. I decided to order their double IPA, it was good. Growlers are available for taking your favorite brews home with you. Overall, it was a good time. I left with a positive impression. Will visit again. If you want a great place to go for a microbrew and excellent food. This is the place. My wife and I go there at least one to two times a week. Thursday's are smoked wings, pizza, sandwiches, and salads. Friday through the weekend the menu changes each week. We have never been disappointed, and hope you give them a try. We are regulars to the Conny Creek. The owners are terrific and the beer is truly excellent. We are beer snobs and are so lucky to have such a true gem so close to our home. Our favorites are the Neverclear Hazy IPA and Steap, which is a smooth ale made with honey and tea! As if we weren't lucky enough to have a local brewery in our backyard, the food is always good too. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is really chill. Can't say enough good about this place. One thing that would be nice is to have outdoor seating away from the road. We would love to see them move the outdoor seating to the back side of the building. Or maybe eventually expand into a new location that is away from a busy road. read more

Really terrific food items and their own signature craft beers are some of the highest quality. Prices are competitive as well so you won't "drop" your wallet on the way out the door. Only nitpick things are that all the ordering (at least when we went) is done at the bar instead of the table, and the food menu is quite small. But again, what they do make is actually quite wonderful and definitely worth the try. Space is a tad small, and was crowded; but we went in colder weather and they do have outdoor seating.
