Stunning. Breathtaking.Bucket List Worthy. I've been to hundreds of breweries all of the country and this is top 5 for the venue alone. They could sell water and I would still give it 5 stars. Add this to your list and you won't be disappointed. The beer hit the spot. Not mind blowing but didn't detract from the epic scenery of this destination brewery. I tried the cold IPA but went with a pint of their Vienna Lager. I will never make a trip up the 79 without stopping here. read more

First time here and very disappointed. While the views were breathtaking, it couldn't offset how incredibly rude the staff was. Ruined the entire vibe, felt like an inconvenience to ask for tastings even. But tried a few of the beers on tap and they left a horrible aftertaste. Only positive is it's a byof establishment and live music was good. Will not be back though. read more

Stumbled upon this incredibly beautiful brewery and grounds while doing a waterfall daytrip loop of waterfalls near Pittsburgh. The waterfall on my list was Leesburg Falls and GPS lead me to a tiny parking area across the street from said Falls. From that spot I could see the Falls down below me and people sitting around near it enjoying their closeup view. There seemed to be a path so I struck out walking. Fortunately, a couple was behind me so I asked if they knew the way down to the Falls. We'll, am I glad I asked. They informed me to drive a short distance to Cobblehaus! So, of course, I did. (Note, I had purchased Jim Cheney's book on PA waterfalls published in 2020 and the directions to the waterfall didn't have any mention of this venue so it must be newer than his book.) And, am I so glad I asked the couple! This venue is such a delight. You don't have to make a purchase to have access to the Falls. You simply walk around the building on a path leading there. But, Im ahead of myself. I entered and asked a bartender. In the process, I see that they have a lineup of beers but they serve wine, too. I ordered a glass of Prosecco. The bartender let me know i could take it (in a breakable glass BTW) anywhere on the grounds. So, I did. I walked around the back along the path. Along that path was a Pavillion, many Adirondack chairs, and then, THE Falls right there in front of me to witness and enjoy with my glass of wine ($7.00 BTW) from Adirondack chairs or picnic tables. This brewery is so beautiful, unique, and tasty that I struggle to believe it is in western PA. I have been here during every season- spring summer fall winter- and every time it's stunning. The view is gorgeous. The tap room is cozy and serves great beer. There's lots of space for kids outside. The staff is always friendly. I know it's a bit outside of the city but I can't recommend this stop enough. read more

I was blown away by the setting of this brewery. The Cobblehaus team won the lottery when they secured this beautiful space in nature to open up a taproom. It's not every day you can enjoy a drink in the woods, overlooking a flowing waterfall, but here you can. There are so many little nooks throughout the outdoor space with tables and chairs, games, fire pits, all placed along a winding nature trail with twinkling lights lighting the way. Whether you just want to relax in nature or have fun with friends, there's a space for everyone. The building itself is also gorgeous with huge windows overlooking the waterfall and outdoor space below. They've placed lights at the base of the waterfall so you can still enjoy the view at night. I'm not a huge beer drinker but I do love my Germans and Belgians, which are the star here. I think their beer is solid. They also have seltzers and wine. Inside they've partnered with Gerbe Glass, whose beautiful glass art decorates the space and is available for purchase. Last but not least we really enjoyed the "brats and tots" food truck-- a German x American fusion truck that seems to frequent the brewery. Perfect pairing with their beer. I love this place but I'm also sad it's an hour from Pittsburgh. Looks like we'll be going on more day trips to have an excuse to stop here! read more

I had very high hopes for this place. Beautiful atmosphere and location. With that said, I will never return. The girl taking the orders was not knowledgeable and almost rude. Too busy on her phone and couldn't even answer my questions. She knew very little about the beer itself and told me to step aside until I knew what I wanted to order. Doubtful I'll go back. Oh and the beer was not that good. I recommend going down the road for a good beer. Not worth the price of a domestic beer let alone a craft brewery price. read more

Totally worth the drive! So beautiful, great selections of beer. The waterfalls are easy to walk down too. Lots of seating spaces around the property. No food from the brewery but they had a German food truck on site and it was perfect. We drove from Buffalo and it was worth every mile. We will definitely be back next fall. read more

So happy to finally check out this fairly new brewery, perfectly nestled beside the woods with a majestic waterfall. The inside area is cozy with windows overlooking the falls. Even thought it was quite cold we grabbed beers in the building the ventured down to see the falls . It was beautiful and we will come back in the warmer weather to enjoy beers and the waterfall. Beer selection was a good variety . Hubby had ipa and brown ale . I enjoyed the blonde and lager. read more

There was no food offered when we went. There seems to be a food truck with a "coming soon" sign at the entrance. You do have to order your drinks at the bar, but the lady tending bar when we went was absolutely amazing. She took her time with any samples we might want and clearly explained their other options, such as local distillery offerings. They have comfortable couches to sit by the fireplace, and the view of the falls was absolutely stunning. Such a lovely way to unwind. They also have several family games available to play while you drink. Can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer, bring friends, and sit in the outdoor areas! read more

Wonderful fall day. Storybook. Went here on an afternoon adventure to take advantage of a beautiful fall day. Color of the leaves made the view breathtaking. When we got a bit chilly by the falls, got to sit next to the fireplace inside and listen to the live music. All the time enjoying sampling a variety of beers! Top it off, brats and tots truck outside for an impromptu dinner. Destination event and will be back. read more

Overlooking a picturesque waterfall with plenty of windows to look out from inside or seating both above and below the falls, this is a great place to enjoy a cold beer and the outdoors. We did a flight of 4 beers:they had sours, ipa and lagers. We weren't super crazy about our drinks (maybe European beers just aren't our style) but the ambiance can't be beat. We stopped here on our back from Clarion. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The options were good- my friend loved his beer. But the view and set up they had to admire the view was my favorite part. It was so relaxing. They also have trivia on Thursday with dj trivia. What a hidden gem! The location is beautiful and the decor is eclectic in that they used the cases from the original jewelry store. When we arrived, we were quickly helped by the bartender, but it quickly filled!!! There was only one bartender pulling beers and ringing people out. I would have never known this place existed off the beaten path, but just a couple miles down the road from the Grove City Outlets. The view is spectacular from the wall of windows in the bar. There is a fireplace with cushioned chair seating & many bar stool areas which used to be jewelry cases when this was a jewelry store. Also low & high top tables. So pretty unique. I visited for the first time around 2pm on a Saturday when it was sunny but the temp was 40 degrees. There is a steep gravel path (with hand ropes) down to Leesburg Falls where there are picnic tables & Adirondack chairs, corn hole and a fire pit. If you like beer & nature this place is stunning!!! In summer it will be slammed. There is additional parking by the big yellow house. I had the Chasing Charlie chocolate milk stout 4.5% and it was delicious. This is NOT a restaurant but it looks like they do some food trucks. They also have seltzer & some mixed drinks most likely PA spirits. It's absolutely worth a look if you love beer & the outdoors!! Wear sneakers or sturdy outdoor shoes if your plan is to go down to the falls...and you'll get your exercise on the way back up! read more

Great selection of brews. Remember there is no food there (food trucks on one or two weekend days?). I went on a Wednesday. You can bring food, I believe. So this place is awesome. Upfront, you should ignore the 1-star review made by the guy who had to wait for his beer. It's worth the wait. Great beer, the owners were on site and are wonderful people. We brought a group of 8 and enjoyed the food truck and the live music. It's been open since October 2022 and I can't wait until summer when the waterfall area behind the building is hopping. A remarkable location with amazing views both inside the pub and outside. I can see this is going to quickly be a hit with locals and for events. A flight gave me a chance to sample multiple brews. I wish I could give the place 5 stars for the beauty but I just can't. very unprofessional management. This was also emailed to the owner so I will just paste it here what I sent ...  I would like to start off by saying I truly enjoy our experience each time we visit the falls. It was so nice to finally meet the owner the past week when we were there. He has a beautiful property and a gem of a brewery. We have been to this location more than a dozen times now and it's always an amazing experience. We have family in Grove City and visit them often. We do frequent the Coraopolis location as well since we live closer to there. I have never had a bad encounter with anyone at Coraopolis or The Falls until this past week. The one bartender, which is the manager Kara as I know from previous encounters of meeting her, was talking to a customer and her language was appalling. She was telling a customer how she is not afraid of kicking people out because she runs the place and everything she says is the way it is all while cussing up a storm. She was laughing with this man about being in charge and bragging how not so nice she is compared to the others that work there and that's why they hired her. During this conversation I could also hear her talk to him about sexual things and using the F word and much much more that I'd rather not get into. At this point I had not seen the owner or I most definitely would have confronted him in person. She always seems to be mad at the world, a customer or another employee. I was appalled at the things I heard coming out of that girls mouth.  I will now limit myself from this place from now on due to the management you have. It is very unprofessional. We can enjoy the falls from the other side and enjoy our beer in Coraopolis. read more

EVER. pulling into the parking lot on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon in may 2023, we were yelled at and harassed by two people outside saying that we were on private property. we had not even parked the car yet. we were extremely rudely told there was a wedding at the bottom of the hill and we had no right to be there. I asked them where the sign was so other people would know and the female rudely said "that's what I'm here for". THERE WERE NO SIGNS ABOUT A WEDDING THAT DAY. THERE WERE NO SIGNS POSTED THAT THEY WERE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. THERE WERE NO SIGNS ON ROUTE 19. THERE WAS NOTHING ROPING OFF THE AREA. there was nothing posted on their website they were closed for a private event. THEY WERE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC I'm fairly certain the older man was the owner as I met him on a previous trip. My young daughter was in tears. BUT THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN. LEARN HOW TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. you are an embarrassment to all small business owners who do NOT run a business like this!! Funny thing, two bikers on Harleys pulled in as we were leaving and I'm sure they were told the same thing. I hope they never return and tell all of their friends and family too.
