Her phone broke so she went to the Wabash store for a replacement. The employee was so poorly trained that she couldn't figure out how to connect my friend's phone to her Apple account. So they sold my friend (who is much more docile than I am) a refurbished unit. When my friend got home with the POS phone, I had to populate her contact list to the new/used phone, since the Boost employee was so poorly prepared to provide basic customer service. After some unauthorized charges were made to her account by this Boost Mobile franchise store , we decided to drop Boost and move her service to the company I use. We went to the Boost store and was informed that even though this new phone was paid in full via cash on delivery that Boost refuses to unlock the phone for a year. Speaking frankly, this is bullshit. There's no contract and my friend had been a Boost client since Boost obtained the Virgin customer base. They're just trying to rip her off a second time. These boost mobile store are all franchise units and were formerly pager sales stores ....very low end operations. I, personally wouldn't do business with one of these "mom and pop" companies if my life depended on it but my friend was naive and thought this company would conduct itself in the best interest of their clients. Apparently this isn't the case, they appear to be focused on the fast buck and screw their clients at every turn.the owner and confront I have every intention of seeking out the owner and discussing basic business ethics and the importance of training your employees before sending them to the front lines. There are too many of these small time hucksters doing business in this city.
