When I dropped my hard drive, Nate looked at it, did some diagnostic work, and gave me detailed information about the cost of doing the work and how much it would cost if he needed to send it somewhere else. He was very nice about it, and thank God. Eventually, there was a bent in the controller, and with some manipulation, it worked, and I could retrieve all my data. He didn't charge me for anything, and he was very generous in explaining and giving me more information about how to store my data these days and available resources safely. I highly recommend this place

I went in and got a condescending attitude "this is for the network, you plug it into your network" and "there isn't usb on the back" (which is completely incorrect.) I understand that often times the majority of your customer base doesn't know computer from potato, but I came in FOR A CABLE FFS. (Luckily, down the street was a Walgreens and they had an assortment of microusb cables (which allowed me to fix the problem with minimal effort.) If you're touting yourselves as Apple Specialists that have been in the business for 30 years, you may want to update your practices and experiences those 3 decades to the current day knowledge that your customers deserve. Again, thanks for nothing micropower. You are out of touch and irrelevant and may want to consider changing your name to nanopower or picopower.

My computer was having problems, and I couldn't leave home. Someone drove all the way to where I lived and repaired my computer in a single visit. I was so relieved since I really depended on my computer. The 2nd time was last year when a different computer (a very heavy 27" iMac) needed to go into the shop for repair. There's no way I could have carried the computer, so someone from Computer Solutions came and picked up the iMac and took it to the shop for repair and afterwards returned it. Again, such a relief! The 3rd time was last week. My computer had crashed, and not only was I facing the loss of my computer but, more importantly 10 years of precious data. I had conferred with Apple tech by phone, and they were unable to do anything. I brought my machine to Computer Solutions, and in a very short time they were able to repair my computer and thus preserve all of my data. It felt like a miracle, and I was thrilled. My special thanks to Michael who was so knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring. The cost of the repair was much less than I had anticipated and, best of all, my computer was up and running. What a great experience!

Jeremy, the copy desk manager, could not have been more professional. He made dozens of copies for me without complaint and was, in fact, pretty friendly. He was even more congenial the following day when I arrived much earlier in his shift. He was funny, nice, and did a great job laminating several items for me. I can't speak for the prices or inventory at Office Depot, but Jeremy is a first rate employee who provided incredible service. Give him a raise!

DIY gone wrong. I tried to switch out the water mixing cartridge in a shower and due to some…read morecalcium build up, it wouldn't budge. I put it back together, but the water would no longer turn off so we had to keep the water to the entire house turned off. I called Ray's and they were not able to come out that night. The next day they were there within an hour of calling them. An hour later they had it fixed completely. The competition came out the night before and talked about putting valves in the basement, tearing out a bedroom wall to get to the back of the plumbing, and cutting through the shower wall! I knew this was not required because Ray's had switched out the other cartridge just a few months prior to this incident. The competition told me the cartridge was stuck and he may not be able to get a part since it was 8 p.m. He looked up the part and said it would be about $500 for the part and around the same for labor. I told him I'd call another plumber and deal with the mess in the morning. The competition charged me $189 to do nothing. Ray's charged me a total of $200 for parts and labor. I will never attempt plumbing DIY again and I will never use another plumbing service!

I don't even want to give this place one star. The only reason would be for the kind person at the front desk. The place is dirty. If you want a crap laptop at a high price, that's the place to go. I was called a c*%t because I counter offer to their insane lowball offer trying to steal my computer. I made one phone call and was told I was a bother, they were busy and I'm a f'n cu#t by the owner. Take your business elsewhere. Rotten person. Unless you want a 2009 laptop for $400. By the reviews, it looks like the owner has called many potential customers names and a bother. So honor his wishes and let's not bother this guy. I will pray for this guy and his horrible attitude. In 38 years have never ran into that kind of person in a business setting. It seems they have raged against a couple people's poor reviews. He has said people harass them if they are unhappy. I can gladly show phone records that I called once for directions, stopped in, treated poorly and then they called me asking if I would take a trade for one of their 2009 Walmart laptops for my top end gaming tower. The second call to their shop was today to see if I added gaming keyboards, gaming mouse, and a monitor if they would be interested. Owner got on phone and called me a bothersome f'n cu#t. I have tried several PC repair services in town and by far the best of them has been PC Electronics. I will take my laptop to no one else. I needed to replace my old Toshiba and the price he quoted for a new one was well within my budget and he walked me through everything that he did. I've had no issues with it. I was having problems trying to take a screen shot and called the shop. He was patient and helped me resolve the issue on the phone and now I have a new skill to add to my skill set. The owner is very friendly and knowlegeable. Why didn't I find this place sooner? It would have saved me a lot of time, money and frustration. read more

My laptop is very important to me. It quit working. It would turn on - the some lights would come on but nothing would come up on the screen. I took it to one computer shop that told me my cpu was bad and they tried to sell me another computer. But I didn't want to lose my programs that I had installed. So I tried these guys. They saved me! They explained that sometimes some of the chips on the motherboard lose their connections. These guys have a machine that can fix that and it brought my computer back from the dead. I called to see if he had any adapter to access my data from my m.2 SSD with my desktop, via a sata cable, pcie slot, or usb. He had absolutely no idea what I was talking about, said good luck and hung up. If he repairs laptops I don't know how If he doesn't even know about one of the components, obviously is not actually interested in tech, or doesn't keep up with the times. read more

No thinking involved just plug in a machine type in model and make of car wait for machine to download and transfer data to the fob. You could download a mp3 in nearly the same amount of time.
