I get a call from them on late Saturday afternoon saying that my Tint didn't get done because they didn't get the film in time (which he told me it usually takes a week to 10 days to get). They did a great job on the interior, but missed details on the exterior (inside fuel door, trim below bumpers, and the covered part when mirrors are folded down). They finally broke down with a discount on the detail after talking on the phone, but Communication earlier on about not having the Tint on hand would've been nice to know. I think they have potential to do great work and see many great reviews on them, I was just the unlucky one to have a poorer experience.

My truck was at my normal body shop which was booked out until 2025 so we went with Duane's. Apparently some damage was pre existing before my daughter hit a deer. Insurance company did not authorize that work and was supposedly going to call us. "Never got a call" from either Duane's or Progressive. Low and behold I get a call that the vehicle is done. Awesome, by the way we didn't get the authorization to repair the passenger door, but it's done and outside on the public street we're only open until noon as it's Christmas eve. WOW, you didn't even call and see if I still wanted it repaired and if I was willing to pay for it myself. Now I have to take it to my original choice and pay a 2nd time to have it partially disassembled and color mated a 2nd time after you did the color match and re assembled. BUYER beware, if you don't bring in a classic and pay cash they don't carte about you. DEI or woke they're in this for the insurance bureaucrats. Shame that a locally recognized shop actually works for an out of state corporation. So much for locally owned taking care of their own. Forever lost my personal and companies business.. Doug went above and beyond in rearranging his schedule to make this happen, and was always a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. The price quoted was absolutely fair for the amount of labour that was involved in performing a full evaluation of the Jeep. Fortunately there were no serious red flags with the vehicle, which allowed the sale to proceed but he did find a few issues that the dealer will address before I pick it up. A big thanks to Doug and his wife. When I pick the Jeep up I will stop down to personally thank him and shake his hand for going out of his way. While there are many honest and skilled mechanics out there, one that offers excellent customer service and goes above and beyond in a pinch is a gem to find, and Northland Performance is definitely a gem.

It shouldn't be my problem. Clowns. Got it back again and had the same problem again. Took it back again. Hopefully it's fixed this time. Clowns. 6 months and 4500 miles later I take my truck in to find out my NEW rack and pinion is shot. Likely due to negligence at the time of installation. Called good ol Northland and Derek said he would warranty the part but not the labor. Asked why not and was told he wouldn't honor the labor cause I gave him a bad review 6 months earlier. Wow,What a waste of time and money this experience was. Not recommended. Clowns

I was told by a friend that lives in Bismarck to visit Trusted Tire & Auto 5216 OTTAWA STREET, Bismarck, ND. Jaeger was my tech I worked with. OUTSTANDING Representative. They took the tire off and he gave me the bad news. There was slim long nail in the side/top of the tire and they would not guarantee that a patch would work. I told him I bought a brand new tire / rim several years ago and I had it in the back of my truck. They pulled the tire off of that rim and put it on the existing matching rims on my truck. Now the kicker the rim I purchased was only a 5 hole rim vs. the 6 hole rims on my truck. I never paid that much attention to the tire and rim thinking the tech knew what they were doing. Wrong. So I now have a 20 inch rim that does not fit my truck. I told Jaeger Merry Christmas he could have it. I still have the original spare on my truck underneath. It is always great to work with people that are honest and get the job done!!!! More importantly I am going to 18 inch tires from 20 inch tires. I asked them to give to me a price quote on the tires I wanted. Back in my home town the tire dealership I am working with would price match any other dealers. Trusted Tire & Auto quoted a price of $1400 vs. the $2200 back home. Huge difference. If my home town dealer does not match this price I will be driving back to Bismarck for the business. I called around town and not many shops could work on diesels (2005 Duramax), or if they could they were booked out a week and up. I got in touch with Advanced Fleet and they said they were also booked out but understood my situation and they were willing to at least diagnose the issue if they had time that day. I arrived and they shuffled vehicles around and got the truck on a lift, pin pointed it was the water pump. They were booked out a good bit as well to do the work, but they moved appointments around and got me an appointment a few days later. Which no one else in town could do. These guys knocked out my water pump with zero issues and even allowed me to use military discount (as I'm active duty). I was also provided a shuttle service to and from the shop. Can't stress it enough how much they helped me out when I was in a tough spot. Great service all around from everyone there. Thanks again.
