When I needed a second operation he took me here at the London Clinic instead. I have to say what a difference!! The front desk people were courteous and super helpful. The ward staff were incredibly compassionate and caring. The recovery nurses were efficient and reassuring and the Nurse Specialists were fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable.. Honestly what a team they have there. Having been to different Hospitals I must say there's a certain culture here that made it special. Thank you.

It eventually took them 1 month to make me an offer for the job. At the time of the offer, I was working in a different Hospital. I eventually signed the contract with the London Clinic and I was asked to resign from my current job at the time. After only one day from my resignation I was then contacted and told that the offer had been withdrawn and that the decision was made. From that moment everyone disappeared, no one answered my calls anymore. I found myself unemployed without any reason. I went to the office in order to understand how such a thing could happen. I was kept at the door. They didn't even let me see the person who took the decision. My all personal matter was shouted in the corridor in front of other people. Intimidate by two people , felt discriminated, extremely offended and literally kicked out. It really hurts seeing such a management. Passing from one day of constant calls and people pushing for me to start asap, to then being completely ignored. Do not work with this company. They go for the money, they only protect the client and there is no assurance at all for the employees. If you are about to sign with this company. Think twice before doing it.

Never Again! I am…read moregoing to write about the worst experience I have even had at the hands of a Doctor in a Hospital. The Whittington Hospital to be precise. His name is Dr. Joquau Kravvas from Thesalonica Greece, and he possesses the worst kind of Greek Male Mysogony that exists. I was greeted with "Why are you wearing two jumpers"? It is very cold possible the coldest day of the year I replied. He explained nothing about the treatment I had gathered from the nurse that he was about to remove some red skin that could possible develop into a cancerous growth, in the event it did not. Dr. Brarrack joked with the nurse that he would 'Have To Remove Half Of My Face' due to what he could see. I certainly hoped not. He drilled ferociously for half an hour. It was relentless. I hope I would;d not be scarred for life. The nurse said the scar would bleed for a week or so. It went on to bleed for over six weeks, I had to visit the A&E of UCHL during the Xmas break as it bled soo much throughout the dressing and I woke up to blood on my pillow for six weeks. This was embarrassing as I was staying with relatives for some of the holiday, Three months late the scar is still there. I wrote an honest review of my treatment and mentioned his name. He had it removed. But I doubt that Yelp will allow vanity struck doctors like him to remove an honest review. I like the nurses in the Dermatology dept. and I like the Italian coffee and soup stand that is parked in front of the Whittington, but I never want to set eyes on Joqau Barrack as long as I live. This place might have a nice canteen and a well-stocked shop as other reviewers have mentioned...but the most important thing (for me) is to let poorly folks escape as soon as they can! Anyway...I had to come to Whittington for a chest x-ray and blood tests. I'd never been here before, but there were helpful staff at reception to point me in the right direction. X-ray time: - I had a note from my doctor, so I managed to register in less than 5 minutes. - They gave me a buzzer, so I could take a seat by their huge windows and look down to the shard and London skyline. - The buzzer went off in just a few minutes - Next I had to wait outside the x-ray rooms...this was less than 5 minutes as well... - The staff were friendly, but speedy (and I exited out of a different door after changing out of my robe...so the whole process was really streamlined.) Blood test time: - This time I just had to take a ticket (at 10:30am I was 10th in line.) - They had so many staff in each of the rooms, that even this was less than 15 minutes wait. - The staff here were friendly and chatty too (although they were also speedy stars) This meant I was out of hospital within an hour, even though I didn't have appointments in advance. Amazing. Other than that, they have friendly reception staff *gasps*, friendly and efficient nurses...and the whole place seems new and clean.

After losing someone close to me, I knew I needed help with my grief. Dr. Ellacott understood right away and set up a meeting with Social Prescriber Miss Amy the same day. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team made me feel welcome and looked after. Miss Amy was excellent - professional but also genuinely warm and caring. She gave me practical help and arranged referrals to specialist support. The clinical pharmacist was also very supportive and took time to explain everything clearly. What really impressed me was the follow-up - they've scheduled appointments to check how I'm doing, which shows they genuinely care about my wellbeing beyond that first visit. This hospital was once a private military hospital and stands on Queens land. It was renovated and…read morebuilt up about 7 years ago when it was opened by the Queen. It replaced the old delapidated Greenwich hospital and now serves a wider community encompassing Greenwich, Lewisham, Woolwich and even furthur afield. Like all hospitals it suffers from budget problems but the staff themselves I have always found to be friendly and knowledgeable. There's a free buggy service from 9.30am to 4pm which will take those less able to walk around the hospital for free. Parking is only free for disabled and there's not a lot of parking so it's better to go by public transport.

The hospital seems to be in the middle of no-where. It was dark and I was driving but it didn't feel like there was a close station. There is parking on site and this hospital has a nice remote, green setting. As I say, it was a busy time by all accounts. i did have to wait for my appointment, not sure what the delay was. Staff whom I met were polite and there was the availabilty of free beverages to be had. Waiting area was clean and comfortable and free wifi available.
