We had time to kill before we could checkin, so the first place all my girls ventured towards was the creek. Osage Creek, a brisk walk from our parking spot, had water snakes, fish, and small black crayfish - yet none of this bothered my kids or our dog. It was so dang hot on July 24, 2025 that the kids walked barefoot in the creek and the dog plopped down on her belly for a break. Lol. A walking path, public restrooms, and playground were nearby. Free parking. Trash free. The only thing that caught us off guard was when an unleashed dog rushed over to my leashed canine. The owner was slow to respond yet apologetic. Huge fan.

It is across the street from the Amazeum off of J street. There is a large parking lot for the park. You will have no problem finding parking! Well, unless there is some large happening, in general you should be good. AMENITIES: The park has bathrooms and drinking fountains. There is also a covered picnic table area. Along the pathway of the pond/fountain there are benches as well. PARK: This is a pretty large park. My daughter loves playing by the pond and I have to constantly convince her it is not a good idea to go swimming in the water haha. There is a large field where there are wildflowers. There is a pathway you can walk through it. There are a lot of concrete walkways to walk around the pond/park. Regina took us here to give us a little history lesson on Bentonville and this little area. So cool! It is right across from the Library, so a fun place to bring your kids afterwards or before, or even just yourself to read your book! Beautiful landscaping, benches, and covered seating/gazebo. There are even a few fields under the lights to allow for night games. There are 2 playgrounds, one for older children and one for smaller children...a really nice touch! My only complaint is that parking is really tricky during Saturday soccer games, but in general a joy to come hang out at this park during games or at other random times during the wek when the kids need to get some fresh air.
