There is a Kum and go .4 mi away but that's still pretty inconvenient. Right now it looks like there is only street parking and there is one open parking spot and one handicapped spot open. There's another parking lot on the car side but it is blocked off because of all the construction. So, make sure the kiddos all go to the bathroom before you head out and you'll have a great time!

It is across the street from the Amazeum off of J street. There is a large parking lot for the park. You will have no problem finding parking! Along the pathway of the pond/fountain there are benches as well. PARK: This is a pretty large park. This was the only place where both of us had gotten out of the truck together at the same place other than home. So it is obvious the parasites came from the park grounds. We had time to kill before we could checkin, so the first place all my girls ventured towards was the creek. Osage Creek, a brisk walk from our parking spot, had water snakes, fish, and small black crayfish - yet none of this bothered my kids or our dog. It was so dang hot on July 24, 2025 that the kids walked barefoot in the creek and the dog plopped down on her belly for a break. Lol. A walking path, public restrooms, and playground were nearby. Free parking. Trash free. The only thing that caught us off guard was when an unleashed dog rushed over to my leashed canine. The owner was slow to respond yet apologetic. Huge fan.

There is street parking all along the park, except for the south side. To the east of it there is a decent size parking lot. All parking is free. AMENITIES: This park has bathrooms and drinking fountains located at the bathroom building. There are also plenty of benches and tables, most aren't covered, but there is a big table by the playground that is shaded. PLAYGROUND: Their is a large playground at this park. The entire playground is enclosed by a fence, which is awesome!! Keep your kids trapped inside haha. There are two gates to get in and has a lock that is difficult for kids to open. The fence definitely helps make you feel more secure that your kid isn't wandering off into the street or to a stranger haha. Obviously you should be watching your kid, but those little ones can be fast. There are two separate play structures. One is aimed at younger kids and the other at older kids. My almost 3 year old likes to play at both. There are also swings next to the smaller kid playground. Two bucket seats and two regular seats. Inside the playground there are a few benches and tables. One larger table is under a cover, great for shade! In the summer I felt that the playground didn't get too hot because there are some big trees surrounding the play structures, so it helped a lot for the slides and parts of the play structure to not get too hot. Outside of the fenced area there is a large grass area with walkways and some tables/benches.

The dog park is huge with lots of different things to keep pups entertained. There's an archery park too. The park butts up to the city airport so there's lots of planes to watch take off and land. The park is very new so the landscape isn't matured yet but when it does, it will be great. I look forward to coming back.
