I'm an ophthalmologist and don't ask me why I took this class. If I ever need to use the skills here everyone's in trouble. That being said, this is my third time taking ACLS and the first time things really clicked. Dr. Said was wonderful just as all the other reviews mentioned and I'll definitely be coming back here for my renewal if needed. I am an ICU travel RN and needed my ACLS and BLS recertification as fast and as easy as possible. I usually use Surefire CPR but their classes were booked up. Dr. S was nice, thorough and efficient. I took my NRP skills validation this morning and was the only center available to accommodate me for early Friday morning. Enrollment was quick and painless too, since online registration took PayPal. Class was short, simple and concise. She explained everything and made sure to answer any questions I had. Dr. Saaid is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and caring instructor/ human being I have gotten to know. Took her ACLS, PALS, ECG combo class and was able to finish them in about a day, 8-5pm. The information you learn from her in the span of 8 hours will trump any lecture you have received in a nursing or medical school (I'm a student nurse). Class size is small because it's a small office, but that gives you a more intimate and personal learning environment, which I like. She is so smart (she's a retired doctor of medicine), funny, and generous. After taking her, you will be prepared to save anyone, of any age group. Take her and you won't regret! I highly recommend! ACLS, PALS, (choose either ECG or BLS or NRP) package cost: $250 (3 certifications) NRP: $35 online class (book must be rented elsewhere i.e. Amazon), skills on site (1 hour) is $100 = $135 (I paid $85 with limited discount offer) That's a slamming great deal considering each certification costs $150+ alone. Also, since I opted to take an additional course outside of the three I chose, she gave me a 50% discount on my 4th course because she's just that wonderful. She's not out to make profit like other places. She just loves to teach and will make sure you learn! She will work with you no matter your learning style.
