I have worked with Center for Beauty (Sean McGuire) in Louisville Ky for a month while being gaslit and manipulated to keep quiet, I am done keeping quiet. I am stuck looking like this because I went in for under eye filler Jan 3rd, he (Dr Sean McGuire) decided I needed it in my cheek not under my eye. I asked to be seen after extreme pain and no filer under my eye and large pockets in my cheek, they saw me on the 14th and he said as long as you can't see the pain it doesn't matter, I asked if the filler had gone into my cheek by mistake because I do not see it under my eye only in my cheek, he stated "No not by mistake, I put it in your cheek", I said "I wanted it under my eye, not in my cheek at all." He laughed and stated "I've been doing this 18 years I think I know where you need filler." I stayed silent, completely baffled." He offered to put the filler in the place I asked for it initially, I said yes absolutely that would be great, he drew it with a pencil where I wanted it and I agreed. After injecting it I looked in the mirror and saw my cheek was even larger. I didn't know what to do or say and just left and contacted the manager. She stated she did not want me to be unhappy and would like to see me back I said I am literally moving out of state next week and can not come in, and I said quite frankly if I could come in I would not, the doctor was extremely aggressive and rude and would not want him to touch me again. She said to continue sending photos and after day 14 of it does not look better there will be a refund or partial refund or some kind of resolution. Still unhappy with her answer I said okay and kept sending photos, day 14 I sent this photo, both the nurse and the office manager responded, saying it looked great. On day 20 I reached out as I had not heard anything back from them as far as a resolution goes, only how great it looked. I sent this email where I had no response. "Hello, it is now day 20 since I have had my follow up visit where the filler was placed in my cheeks again. My last email I had requested a refund, again and that has not been replied to. I am sending this email to request a refund for the filler that was placed in my cheek Jan 3rd. I was told there would be a resolution on day 14 and it is now day 20. I feel like I'm getting the runaround at this point. I would like a direct answer on this matter. Thank you." On day 25 I called and the office manager stated that I would not be given a refund or any resolution and that they think it looks great and are very satisfied with how it turned out. She said she spoke with the doctor and he would not agree to any resolution. So all this to say, if this is how you want to look, go to Center for Beauty and see Sean McGuire. read more

I am always hesitant to write reviews that give away beauty secrets BUT this place is just too good not to write about! I stumbled across PCB years ago after there was a write up in StyleBlueprint for best facial in town. This signature facial boasted 75 mins that included a back massage, seaweed/mud mask combo for your back in addition to your customized facial starting at $65.00. I thought this was too good to be true! So I booked my first appointment with Jill and was blown away by the level of care, how well she listened to my needs and adapted the facial to what was going on with my skin at that moment as well as the lack of up-sale. I completely understand why its done (Selling products) but appreciate when its actually useful and not a pitch for something my skin wont benefit from -not all products are created equal! Afterwards my skin was glowing for days and I had numerous compliments and questions about my skincare regimen. Fast forward 2 years, I'm still trying to figure out what regimen works best for me as a preventative measure and still going to Jill sporadically for these amazing facials. After listening to my concerns prior to the facial she suggests that I try micro needling and see Marilyn for a skin consultation. I agree to changing the service from facial to micro needling, and guys I've never looked back since. Those treatments completely changed the texture and firmness of my skin. I was soo giddy that I couldn't wait to see Marilyn for a {FREE} facial consultation. I had no clue what to expect but basically you place your face in a machine that scans your skin to see pore size, wrinkles, bacteria, redness, sun damage and a few other things. From there a personalized skin care regimen is built for you with {FREE} monthly follow ups to assess the progress your skin is making with the treatment. My scan showed lots of UV damage - thanks life guarding years - large pores and rough texture near my nose. This is spit out into a percentage based on others in your age group. My first scan showed I was in the bottom %tiles for my age group in most categories so she suggested a medical grade skincare regimen with a few different products. I was not forced to buy these products and in fact I was already using a high quality retinol daily so that was omitted from my face prescription. I used the products as directed and at my next appointment all of my numbers went from 20-30% up to 80-95%... you literally see the photos side by side and it was crazy the difference it made in that short period of time. I felt like I had wasted soo much money prior to my personalized regimen! I've utilized a few other spa services/treatments and haven't had any bad experiences. I had a 5 star experience at Physician Center for Beauty. I had an Ultherapy procedure on my face and neck. ( Yes it hurts but is tolerable ). Tatum was the technician who gave me the treatment. She was very experienced and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. It was a lengthy procedure and Tatum was professional, and confident and reassuring to me the entire time. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. Marilyn helped me decide which treatment was best for me. Her knowledge and expertise was greatly appreciated! Now, I wait for the results... Poor services!! They gave me a treatment option with a price but when time came to pay they charged $900 more. Explanation, they said " During treatment, you needed more.". My side - I did not need additional services, they failed to account what it will take to fix the problem at first place. I completely agree with the previous reviewer about Jason. I have ordered through their online system twice and it has been a nightmare. With the first order, Jason never filled it in a timely fashion, and it took nearly two weeks to receive it. I called almost daily, and I was simply told it was on its way. Based on the postage date stamped on the package, it was obvious that Jason did not send it in the shipping timeframe according to their website. With my second order, I was sent the wrong strength of a prescription medication. Once again, Jason is responsible for fulfilling the online orders and once again, he failed miserably. I called to complain and he was completely unprofessional and hateful. He began screaming at me and I had no choice but to yell back at him. There was no way I was going to take his verbal abuse. I have been a loyal customer of Physician's Center for Beauty since they first opened. I have great respect for Dr. Maguire, and it is a shame that such an unprofessional employee such as Jason is the one that patients must encounter. If you are searching for a professional environment in which to receive plastic surgery services, I strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. This past week I went in for ultherapy on my lower face and neck. It takes a few months to start to see the results so I'll update my review in November. As for my experience so far. The inside of the space is really well done. Feels like a high end spa. All the staff that I came in contact with was friendly n professional, esp the woman that did both of my treatments. They split it up over two visits. The first visit I took 3 ibuprofen about a half hour before then again half way through. That was my lower face. It was mildly uncomfortable. The second visit I was running late n didn't take the pills until I got there. Big mistake. The neck n jaw was really uncomfortable n sometimes actually pretty painful. If I was doing it again I would probably opt for an actual "pain pill" for each visit, maybe two. Based on the reviews I've read on ultherapy there seems to be a 50/50 success rate. I should be able to see where I fall on the scale in 90 days : )*** update. It's been about 3 weeks n I'm already seeing results. A tightening at my jawline. Lower face is firmer. read more

Dr. Maguire is great and has great bedside manner. Although I question what they mix in their fillers, I went in and made an appointment to get a filler and it lasted two weeks, after which they refused to give me a refund. A manager named Jason who I never met or saw in my life and has no medical training said that I still had filler in my lips. Upon my appointment with the doctor, I went into tell him that I didn't have filler left. The prices are the cheapest in town, but don't they say you get what you pay for?? So I disputed it with my credit card company and they kept coming back saying now they wouldn't give me my money back just for the filler. I paid for the Botox I have no issues with that. The credit card company so graciously paid for half of the dermal filler because this company is so money hungry and refuses to take fault for anything. Today I called to make an appointment strictly for the Botox, and the receptionist told me that the manager Jason blocked me from making appointments and that they would no longer be seeing me. At that point I asked to speak to him he said that they don't need clients like me. Just be careful. During the whole dispute this Jason guy called me calling me names telling me I was stupid that I had no common sense that I didn't know anything about fillers or anything. It states right on the filler website that they last 6 to 12 months not two weeks you don't pay $525 for something that last two weeks. Today while on the phone with Jason he asked why I would want to come back and I said I have no problem with with the Botox. I would like to also discuss maybe getting fat injected into my lips or something more permanent, and he says well maybe the doctor will call you back bye. What a Professional! read more
