I can't recommend the team at Digenis Plastic Surgery highly enough. I live in Los Angeles and New…read moreYork, and I have had consults with top plastic surgeons in both big cities. Before I met Dr. Digenis, I would have told you that I would never let a surgeon outside of NYC touch my face. However, after meeting him, I completely changed my mind - because Dr. Digenis is the most knowledgeable, talented and artful plastic surgeon I have ever met. Bar none. Here are just a few of the reasons why I would choose him and his team every time: - He listens. In my NY and LA consults, the doctors have pushed filler on me even after I told them that I don't feel comfortable with filler as a long term solution. Dr. Digenis listened to me and offered a non-surgical, longer term procedure option that addressed my concerns. He does not have a one size fits all mentality. My care was tailored to me. - He does top notch, natural work. I scheduled a consult with him after he was recommended by someone who had the most natural and beautiful facelift I have ever seen. His work speaks for itself. Everything I have had done by his office looks natural and has improved my face. - He and his team will make you feel warm, welcome and comfortable. They are so attentive to detail - whether it's helping to accomodate a tight schedule or making sure you are comfortable and informed about your procedure. First class sevice. 5/5. They are the best.

He (and his staff) made me laugh, encouraged me to be strong and empowered me to be brave through my experience with breast reconstruction. I know from other survivors that many of them had doctors they couldn't describe in such glowing terms. I couldn't be more happy with my choice and my results. I feel whole again.

I discussed my concerns with Dr. Katrib extensively at my preoperative appointments. He reassured me he understood, even saying he would harvest multiple grafts from my own ribs if needed during my surgery instead of using donor material. But when I woke up, I was shocked to hear he had used donor rib against my wishes and our agreed upon pre surgical plan. I had no choice but to focus on my own healing at that point but I remained worried about the integrity of the donor rib placed in my nose. At 9 months my nose started to lose projection overall and width in my tip in addition to some dents that had formed. I was told this was due to resorption and Dr. Katrib suggested a touch-up surgery. Part of the surgical plan included him making a small adjustment entailing a 1mm trim to my left LCSG to address clicking of the graft. Instead, he removed 3mm, collapsing the left side of my nose and causing cartilage to protrude from my tip. Now my nose is smaller, my grafts continue to resorb, dents and collapse are worsening, and I have breathing issues that were not present prior to the touchup. In addition, I am experiencing intermittent nerve pain in my right ear graft donor site. What was supposed to be a careful revision and touch-up, instead left me with serious cosmetic and functional issues that now require a complete rebuild in order to repair the damage. And I've since learned my story is not unique. Other patients describe the same pattern -- promises broken, grafts failing, noses collapsing -- leaving them searching for yet another surgeon to repair them. Trust is everything when you put your face, your health, and your life in a surgeon's hands. For me, that trust was shattered not once, but twice by Dr. Katrib. It has been devastating. A lot of these positive reviews are yearly post op patients. Look for long term results not early post up. Things change a lot post 9 months and not in a good way.

Sorry Long Post. Not really sure what to say about this…read moreplace. And I'm not one to complain. But something needs to be said. I was referred to Dr. Majzoub's office from my pc doctor for a breast reduction. My first appointment was on Sept 18th which is where the doctor took pics and explained to me the process to get the ball rolling. Once finished I was told by (Mrs. Judith) the receptionist that I would receive a call if I was approved for the surgery. Fine. Two weeks later I get a phone call from the receptionist saying that I was approved. And my surgery was scheduled for Oct 28th, and I have a $700 deductible I said ok. I get a call back five minutes later saying that I didn't have a deductible. October 6 I had to go to the hospital for my pre admissions testing and this is where they told me what I need to buy and what I needed to do on the day of operation. Next appointment was Oct 18th for my pre op appointment and to my surprise once again Mrs. Judith says that I had a deductible but this time it's 1,000 dollars. I explained to the receptionist that she told me that I had a deductible the last time. But she called me back and said that I didn't have one. So she had to call (Bridgette) the billing specialist and she would get back to me. She calls back 20 minutes later after I left the office and says once again that I didn't have a deductible. On Oct 26th two days before my surgery I get a phone call from the hospital stating that my surgery was canceled because my insurance fell through and that I needed to call the doctor's office. I called the doctor's office told them my situation and was told that I would receive a call back the next day from the billing specialist. I get a call back the next day telling me that it would take up to 41 days to receive approval and was assured that as soon as she heard something she would call me back. I decided to call my insurance company the same day who told me that the billing specialist had just put the pre approval order in. On yesterday Dec 5th something told me to call my insurance company to check on the status. And to my surprise, I was told that it was approved on Nov 7th. I was told that I had no deductible until January 2024. On Dec 6th I called the billing specialist and told her the situation and her first excuse was it was in a pile of other forms but it seemed like she found it pretty quickly. Then I was told that it was hard to get a surgery scheduled. But you had 2 whole months to get me scheduled. On top of that if you would have put my pre approval in the first time I would have been able to get in on the day I was actually scheduled. Honestly it seemed like the billing specialist was so adamant on getting me a date after January so that I could pay this deductible because seemed like every time we talked it was about money. As well as being adamant about me paying it before the surgery was supposed to take place. Then asked me did I want to push it out and make payments up until the day that the surgery would take place. I decided that it would be best that we cancel the whole pre approval and that I would look elsewhere. Once again I called the insurance company back. And to find out my deductible was only $100 not $1,000. It's a shame what I had to go through going to these pre op, pre admission and doctors appointments. As well as having to pay all this money out of pocket for the remaining balances, buying things for the surgery, taking off work for me and my husband, etc. If anything my deductible should have been waved after everything that had transpired.
