I went into Surgery came out of Anesthesia woke up was there Two and half hours didn't come and talk to me. My wife was waiting in the waiting room no Doctor nobody came to talk to her. This was at Clear Creek Surgery center. I walked out Groggy to the car by the nurse not even willed out in a wheelchair. The next day my ears were bleeding a lot so I called Advantage Ent to talk to Dr. Hartiman they put me on hold and came back and said he was leaving and didn't want to talk to me just go by the instructions on the post op release paperwork. So I asked for the Manager of the Doctors office and she said if they bleed anymore go to urgent care there is nothing they will do. I've never been to such a heartless place in my life.

While scheduling an appointment with a DIFFERENT audiologist this morning, I realized that I have not shared my HORRIBLE experience with the Hear USA Arvada location from 2023. Here goes: While I was surprised to learn when I needed help with my hearing aids in July 2023 that the practice was no longer a Hearing Rehab Center, I thought why not, I need help from and AuD? Bad decision. Dr. Jillian Anderson was initially helpful, but misdiagnosed a different dome for my aids that kept getting stuck in my right ear canal, which is slightly narrower than normal due to the shape of my skull. About a month later in mid-August 2023, the new dome prescribed by Dr. Anderson got painfully stuck in my right ear canal, and she saw me at once and removed it. But she did not change her prescription/recommendation for the hearing aid domes. About six weeks later in on Monday 10/6/2023, my right dome got painfully stuck again, and when I called the Arvada Hear USA location the receptionist (I believe Megan McPhillips) told me that Dr. Anderson was out of the office and offered an appointment to resolve my painful condition four days later on 10/13/2024. When I asked the receptionist for a referral to another audiologist, she was snippy with me, then accused ME of being snippy because I was asking for urgent audiology care, and eventually HUNG UP ON ME. On Monday 10/9/2023, I called around and eventually found another audiologist willing to see me the same day to help with my urgent, painful problem which was the result of Hear USA Dr. Anderson's misdiagnosis of my hearing issue and accompanying mis-prescription/recommendation of a hearing aid dome incompatible with my right ear. This AuD cared, unlike Hear USA, removed the painful dome, and recommended that I return to my former dome style that never caused any problems. I decided to NEVER visit any Hear USA locations again. When I requested a copy of my hearing medical records from Arvada Hear USA, the still-snippy receptionist delayed the production of these records on 10/10/2023 (which they are legally required to produce), and when I called back on 10/16/2023 to inquire about the production of my hearing medical records the snippy receptionist LIED and claimed that they had left multiple voicemail messages regarding those records -- which I never received on my phone number which has been my primary number since January 1993. About a week later, my hearing medical records finally arrived in the mail. I filed a complaint with Hear USA's national office regarding this situation on 10/16/2023, which went unanswered even to today. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. OTHER AUDIOLOGISTS CARE MORE. BE WARNED. Dr. Mandi…read moreSolat introduced me to how she does it with a pencil-like camera with a light that looks into the ear, and you can watch it on the monitor. She gently takes a tool and takes out the excess ear wax. The last time I had wax removed, the doctor used a water bulb that he squirted into my ear, and it was so uncomfortable because I got dizzy from the water filling my one ear. Anyway, this way by Dr. Solat rocks!! Her patient care is fantastic and kind, and it was so easy to schedule for her office because you do it all online! I highly recommend Dr. Mandi Solat! They also offer hearing aids, hearing tests, and other hearing needs because she is an audiologist! Located in Lakewood, but I came from Westminster, not a bad drive.

We tried to take him to the VA here, but they could not do it for several days. I googled Hearing Centers near me, and was so lucky and blessed to find Ellen Ruth Stevens in Broomfield. We called and the sweet receptionist said she would fit us in and to come by right then. Ellen saw my father and worked for probably 30 minutes to make the hearing aid fit. When we tried to pay, they said they were just glad they could help! It meant the world to me to have someone help my dad and relieve the constant pain he was in. Over a 2 month period, I have tried (and failed) to get prescriptions sent to my mail order pharmacy. Were they concerned that the delay in my receiving my prescriptions might seriously impact my health? Heck no! They chided me for my frustration, and on top of that, lied to my face, saying that I hadn't seen my pa in over a year (um, no, it was last December). These people just don't care.
