She had a second double reconstruction surgery this year in April, and will begin her PT again with HighBar next week. I've never been so confident in physical therapists until my daughter began going to HighBar. They are top notch therapists who actually care about their patients, their patients getting better, and they treat their patients as if they're part of the HighBar family. Every person is so kind and caring and want to help no matter how big or small. I see Allie, twice a week and she has made me not wake up in pain for the first time since my stroke. This isn't any normal PT, they don't do the same thing every time and send you home with more at home exercises then you normally do in the hour you are seen. They work with you. They care about you. They want you to be, in my case, pain-free, and better after every session. Truthfully, whenever I have to move I am going to be crushed to leave my friend here at NPT & Co. And the ON shoes, sooooo amazing! they took a while to convince me and now I am sad it took me so long. my knee doesn't hurt as much after standing on my feet and I don't have to ask someone to tie my shoes. which being 26, and not being able to tie your shoes sucks and there were no cute alternatives! until these, super cute and super reliable.

I have bone-on-bone arthritis in my left knee, and by that point I had pretty much stopped all physical activity because of the pain. I wasn't sleeping at night and was really worried about how I was going to keep up with the demands of my business during the busy holiday season. From my very first visit with Bert Brier and his team, I knew I was in the right place. Bert is extremely knowledgeable and supportive, but he also pushes you in all the right ways. He had me working through the pain to build strength, and before long, I was back on my Peloton--something I had completely given up on. I went three times a week over the summer, and the difference has been incredible. I'm now almost pain-free, sleeping through the night again, and back to my regular activities. I honestly thought knee replacement surgery was my only option, but now I'm holding off because I feel so much better. I can't say enough good things about Bert and everyone at Pappas. University Orthopedics places making as much money off you as possible far above patient interests…read more My experience here was terrible and I want to warn anyone else against trusting the team here. I received bills for things that team members explicitly told me were not going to cost me money. If anyone comes into your room to give you something, tell them to shove it. If they schedule you to with the OT team here, push it back a couple weeks ago so you don't end up going only to find out you aren't recovered enough to start. This group even has their sales people dress in scrubs so you'll assume they are care providers. University Orthopedics is not a place you to go to get your injuries healed, it's a place you go to to lose trust in doctors. I would recommend going anywhere else so you don't end up feeling as stupid as I do for trusting them.
