EDIT: I did a Google search and found this: "While most MyChart messages will remain free, replies that require medical expertise and more than five minutes of your provider's time may be billed, as we do for other medical services. If a MyChart message is billable, we will first bill your insurance provider, as we do for all other medical services."

Well, I'm here getting an Electromyography (EMG). An EMG measures muscle response or electrical activity in response to a nerve's stimulation of the muscle. The test is used to help detect neuromuscular abnormalities. During the test, one or more small needles (also called electrodes) are inserted through the skin into the muscle. The test sounds worse than it is. Dr. Mercurio was excellent. I'm confident she will help. Our hope is to find out also why my left leg and foot are numb. I'm finished now and look forward to the results.

During…read morethis time, the following issues occurred: Lack of Basic Hygiene/Wound Care: Despite having a bloody injury, no staff member cleaned my finger for the duration of my two-hour stay. I eventually had to specifically ask a staff member to clean the blood off my finger and my hand. Neglect of Pain Management: I was never brought any form of pain medication during the entire visit after asking for it. When asked about this, I was told that maybe it would be brought to me when I was discharged. Failure to Provide Basic Comfort: I was forced to ask for an ice pack to manage the swelling and pain, which was not proactively offered by the nursing or medical staff. I then had to ask for another ice pack after the first one was no longer cold. Absolutely horrible, horrible, horrible experience. Do not go here for any emergency services!

This past year I had an extremely negative experience when I needed an infusion and ended up with an unexpected bill. Kristen and Premier were very sensitive to this and put up with a grumpy old man. I felt as though they went way above and beyond to assist me through this process. They reached out to my doctors office and corrordinated with the staff there to assist me. When I was reaching out to other centers some of them made the comment "we don't do stand alone iron infusions, there's just not enough money in it for us..." At Premiere I never felt like it was about the $$ or a profit, I felt valued and that their biggest concern was my health, getting the treatment I needed and addressing my insurance and financial concerns. Kristin made me feel valued, genuinely concerned and empathetic. When I arrived at the center I was warmly treated and it was a very comforting pleasant atmosphere. I was made to feel like a VIP, as if I were their only patient. Nice amenities and genuine greetings and inquiries about how I was feeling. I had two extremely friendly and attentive nurses who throughly explained everything they were going to do prior to proceeding. They were attentive to my needs and made me feel welcome and comfortable. There is no doubt in my mind where I will be going when I need this service again.

I waited for about 10 minutes then a person that was discharged had a question for the intake person about where his prescription was sent, which she took the time to try and answer before checking me in (which was fine at the time). When she finished with the discharged patient, she begins my check in and asks me to verify my address. She then stepped away and when she returned told me she had just been told that they could not see anyone else that day. I did not take the time to discuss the unfairness and ridiculousness of this decision as my ride had just told me he was going to run an errand while I waited to be seen. I wanted to catch him before he left, because I didn't want to be stranded. This was easily the worst experience with a medical office reception area. It is now abundantly clear why your ratings are so low. If anyone in this office has a goal to improve that for 2026, you really need to take time to train people when and under what circumstances to stop seeing patients.
