I used to love this dentist office; my oldest daughter went here for years. I am so disappointed it has since turned into a place that just wants to make money by making "recommended" testing mandatory or they will refuse to see your child. Not caring that not all insurances cover it 100% and not every family can afford to pay for it. Keep in mind this is for a six-month cleaning with ZERO complaints. I'll be taking my younger daughter elsewhere going forward. read more

If your child has sensory issues, I would not take them here. They will scare your children, the dental hygienist told my kid, "you have to calm down or your mom can't come back her with you anymore and will leave " as she was making my kid gag to get an X-ray. Then when I denied flouride treatment she rolled her eyes at me and left, flouride like this makes my child very nauseous, I could understand if they had cavities but there are 0. The appointment lady called to tell me I needed to go elsewhere, that flouride is apart of their "extensive exam" and if we aren't going to do that we should find another dentist. Just a money grab place, they don't care about anything other then money. Like other reviews, the first time we went it was amazing, then it went down hill. Please have a meeting to discuss positive enforcement with your staff. read more

We had a very horrible experience with Dr.Craik. I didn't appreciate the attitude we got when we questioned how did my son go from having perfect dental visits, never having any concern at all ever to 6 months later you tell me he needs to be fully sedated for major treatment on a tooth that never once were we told had any sort of watch or concern. Not only that but he was a great patient and fully cooperative but he refused to do anything but sedate which was over $1000 btw. We took our son for a 2nd opinion thank God but in the interim, my son had an emergency and had horrible pain and Dr.Craik refused to see him after he knew we went to have another opinion. He refused to see a 6 yr old With an emergency need. It's illegal to refuse treatment to a patient of record. Thank god our new dentist worked us in sooner. I should have reported him to the board. We had our first visit to the Center for Pediatric Dentistry today and could not have been more satisfied. My daughter, a new five year old, was a drama show the entire time but the staff was incredibly patient and reassuring. The atmosphere is well crafted and geared toward the kids. The new patient check in was easy, I printed the forms off their site and turned them in at check in. The wait to be seen wasn't long. I highly recommend! read more

The facility and doctors are great. Unfortunately , my son was dismissed for missing our most recent appointment in Jan. The reason is that we were at the hospital due to an aunt being placed in ICU at 2am and also my Mother in law being admitted at 6am at the VA hospital. I went to the office to explain. There just was no compassion or understanding. A truly unfortunate situation. read more

I don't write 5 star reviews often, but this Dentistry impressed me enough to deserve it. How many dentistry waiting rooms have video game booths for children to play? This one has multiple XBox kiosks and even a candy crush-like arcade kiosk. AWESOME. (But a few of them were broken :/) I've never seen a dentistry so thoughtfully designed, managed, and staffed such as Center for Pediatric Dentistry. The building has an "Outdoor Alaska" theme and every inch of the place is covered in majestic/cute paintings of animals and nature scenery (see pics). They employ a large staff of attractive females, and each one has the bubbly, contagious energy of a 10 yr old at Disneyland. (Seriously, aside from Dr. Baker, I saw 0 guys there). We made an appointment over the phone. When we arrived they welcomed us and had us fill out some forms. We ended up waiting a little more than 10 minutes past the appointed time, which is not bad at all. Majority of dentistry chairs are outfitted with televisions hanging from the ceiling. They play "Frozen" the movie and kids stare up at the movie while saying, "Aaah." Ingenious. The female assistants handle all the routine cleaning, and then either Dr. Hughes or Dr. Baker comes in to check out the results and talk to you in person about any issues. I'm not an expert, but it seemed to me that the assistant did an outstanding job with the cleaning, and her methods for putting kids at ease through the process were impressive. We chose to have Dr. Hughes talk to us (you get a choice). She was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. Quite frankly, I was a little nervous about going to a Dentistry with Doctors that did not graduate from Ivy League schools, but Dr. Hughes was simply fantastic. There were a lot of other patients in that office, but she made it seem like we were the most important people in the world. The attendants also have ways to ensure the X-Ray process is quick and painless for kids. After everything's done, they give your kid a token quarter to put in a toy machine for a prize. How awesome is that!? My kid was smiling the whole way through the process. Awesome..AWESOME experience. read more

Love this office! My kids look forward to coming here and that is a plus. Staff is very friendly and the dentist is knowledgable. He doesn't push procedures that aren't needed which is a plus. Make your appointments ahead of time bc they do fill up fast. I usually call a month plus beforehand. They also set you up in email to remind you of upcoming appointments. read more

I went to this place for the awesome reviews and that was so far from the truth for our experience! It was pretty awesome at first... nice place, nice people, nice dentist, a-lot of money but hey if my 3 year old likes it and they can make her comfortable.. then I'm all for it! She had initial exam and she was excellent for X-rays, but freaked out a little for the exam so the doctor explained when she's under anesthesia to get her cavities filled that he would do the cleaning at that time (a cleaning for a 3 year old consist of polishing the teeth, applying floride treatment, and using a dentist prescribed toothpaste to brush her teeth). Well here I am 2 weeks after she was put under anesthesia for cavities and they are calling telling me my 3 year old is due for a cleaning! I discussed the cleaning to be done at the time of anesthesia several times - now they are saying that it cost additional money to put them under longer!!! - so what does that mean they didn't think i would pay!?!?!?! I paid $700 for the cavities to be filled and thats after insurance! This place is worried about one thing MONEY! They provide all the extra comfort measures while at the same time draining you dry by creating as many appointments and procedures as they can! WOW! I will never go back. That is all read more

We have taken our daughter to this office since her very first visit over 3 years ago. Each of the staff members have been extremely friendly and always attentive. My daughter has been seen by both Dr. Baker and Dr. Hughes and we couldn't be happier. The dentist visit has always, and will always be intimidating for children, especially when it comes to the unexpected. At the Center for Pediatric Dentistry, every aspect of what they do is explained in an easy, understandable way and sometimes repeatedly in order to calm their patients. We couldn't be happier that we've chosen such a kind and professional atmosphere for our daughter to be seen in. We LOVE this office!!! read more

Yesterday was my first time visiting this office with my 3 year old son and the inside is so beautiful and kid friendly. All of the walls are painted with very detailed pictures and there are statues of animals throughout the place. There are also games available for the kids in the lobby. The staff was super friendly and his dental hygienist Katie was so awesome! Katie was so good with my son, he listened to everything she said and told me how he was such a good boy. Dr.Lee Baker was kind as well. My overall experience was great, I've recommended all of my family and friends here already. read more

Love this place. You walk into a way cool lodge that has video game consoles, touch screen games, a fish tank and toys. Each area in the back is totally geared towards kids. My favorite room so far is where there is a penguin and otter on the ceiling. Dr. Lee is so nice and great with kids. He explains everything in terms that you can understand. I highly recommend this office for kids. Wish there was a cool place like this for adults. read more

My kids and family loved this office. The ladies took great care of my two younger boys. Its unfortunate that when you call to RESCHEDULE an appointment and your told that they would have to call you back to get that done, that when you don't get a call back and that appointment wasn't canceled like it was requested, that your children and family become "inactive" in this office. I called on October 15, 2019 to reschedule my boys appointments that following week because I KNEW they would not be able to make it. The staff remember told me " I will have to call you back to get that rescheduled" COOL, NOT A PROBLEM. I also work in the medical field and I understand that there will be times where you will be super busy and unable to get to something and you have to call the patients back. I GET THAT. I also understand that sometimes, things are missed and due to being busy, things are forgotten about such as calling patients back and/or documenting conversations you have with patients. I get it and I understand, however, when my kids are "kicked" out of your office for miscommunication issues, my family should not be punished and told "sorry, but we can no longer see you and we have made your family inactive in our systems". Things happen, life happens. People can have emergencies come up to where they miss an appointment or people get so busy to where they forget to call patients back. BUT I CALLED TO RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT and because a staff member was so busy that she forgot to cancel it, call me back or document the conversation, my family is PUNISHED for it. I've been working the in medical field for close to 10 years and I have never seen or heard an office doing their patients this way. This isn't about patient care or the patient themselves, its about oh, you missed two appointments so we have to kick you out. One of those appointments being a mistake and the other appointment to where I CALLED to do my diligence and never got the phone call promised !!! Being a military family, even the horror stories you hear about on post physicians aren't as bad as this situation. Way to treat us !! read more

Five stars isn't enough for this dental office. My children see Dr. Kelly Hughes and she is FANTASTIC! You can really tell that the people in this office enjoy their jobs. Each person is extremely pleasant and kind to all that enter. As a mother herself, Kelly Hughes has such a sweet, calming and genuine manner about her. The office decor is extremely kid friendly and interactive. We look forward to our visits here every six months. Although we are not always seen right at appointment time, Kelly Hughes herself is enough to make this review warrant more than 5 stars. read more

The Center for Pediatric dentistry is pretty much amazing!! Both my 2 and 3 year old girls have gotten their 6 month checkups here and each time, they leave having had the best time...at the dentist. The decor in every room makes the environment fun for the kids and it takes the anxiety of going to the dentist out. My 3 year old was nervous about getting her teeth checked, but the second we stepped out of the car and followed the bear paws into the office, she was at ease and acted like we were going on an adventure. The staff is all friendly and professional. Both Drs are excellent. Highly highly recommend!! read more
