They took her right in and ran tests, found the problem, and admitted her. She was here for 4 days and we family members took turns staying with her. We all were impressed with how attentive, kind, and knowledgeable the doctors and nurses were. (For her privacy, I'm not giving details on her illness or treatment). We also noticed how clean the facility is and how thorough the medical team was with gowns, masks, disinfecting. Mom had her own big room and it was quiet and comfortable. It had big tv with lots of channels which is helpful for not getting bored when you're lying in bed for 4 days. My Mom made a great recovery and is doing quite well now. She said that she felt well taken care of during her stay. Much gratitude to everyone here who helped my Mom recover!

A year later I developed anemia which has become life changing of 7byears with no cause found. 2 years ago my apartment was a mess due to being unable to do anything. The board of health decided I was mentally ill, had my landlord throw everything I owned out ($200,000) and confiscate my cats. I could barely stand, walk or talk. The hospital treated me as a criminal and Timothy Brady verbally abused me during my 4 week stay. I had nowhere to go, so he was going to drop me off at a shelter in my night shirt and slippers. During my stay at the hospital my landlord had my apartment cleaned out and everything thrown away. He even confiscated my car - he had kept asking for money - no I didn't have a lease. I was 66 years old and on SS. I have blamed many started with the Bd of Health but realize it was the incompetence of the doctors who still don't know why I am iron deficient. I lost everything I spent 40 years working for along with family heirlooms, collectibles, antiques, family photos, jewelry and many other things. I see Atlantic health care is all about DEI hiring which explains a lot. I was in the hospital for more iron infusions. My arms developed phlebitis and when I refused the last infusion I was discharged immediately. My arms are bruised, swollen and painful. I now have a heart issue which they are blaming on genetics even though heart issues don't run in my family. My past history of GBS continues to be ignored even though everything started after it. The other night my temp was 101.7 which meant an infection but I am afraid to go back the Newton. I am living in Ibuprofen for the pain. Do Not Go Here if you can avoid it.

It's really hard to get the information you need out of them, especially about insurance. They did not refer out when they were not qualified to treat someone who is LGBTQ and said many transphobic and harmful things. Again, I do not think they purposefully meant to harm, but they just did not get it. Not being able to treat everyone is fine, but refer out then and know when someone's MAIN current concerns are out of your wheelhouse.

Such behavior was unwarranted. It appears that there are numerous negative reviews regarding her services. I recommend discontinuing her services on HeadWay due to the abundance of unfavorable comments she has received. I would like to formally lodge a complaint against her for making judgments. I made an effort to schedule an appointment with her, only to have her cancel it. I feel this indicates that she is not a competent therapist, and I experienced a sense of being shunned by her. This reaction was inappropriate. Evidently, there are many negative reviews about her. It would be advisable to cease her services on HeadWay because of the significant number of negative remarks she has garnered.

She has stated that she has "called", texted and emailed me about our session and received no response when in actuality I did respond. As well as she stated that I tried to cancel an appointment two weeks prior, a couple hours before the appointment to "see a friend" which for one, I ended up going to the appointment, and two was in fact not going to see a friend so I'm afraid she doesn't really know what she is talking about. Either way I feel like any person in this field should understand that people go through hard times and respond in different ways (hence why we are even in therapy) and therapists should always keep that in mind and treat their clients each with their own respect. Not drop a client after they see that there has been an issue and then not even given the time of day to talk about it with them. Very unfortunate behavior.
