Dr. Kahr has no business practicing medicine. She dismissed my mental health concerns and when I did voice my concerns, she rolled her eyes and said, and I quote, "please". No. No business at all! I've been coming here for over 10 years and the staff and doctors are truly great! My Dr. Pollard is a fun and you can ask him anything about health and he will give you the possible answers and he likes to cruise like me! So other than that the place is clean and wait time is not that long especially if you come on time. I will continue to come with great service and pleasant staff read more

I was a patient at this location for many years. I only encountered pleasant staff and decent service, so I recommended this location to my Mom. She visited and found a provider she liked and eventually built a rapport with. She continued to use primary care services at the Evans location for more than 7 years without problem. My Mom is a fairly active senior at 68. She works at a day school for people with mental health disabilities. Her greatest concern is staying healthy and self sufficient for as long as she can. After receiving a letter about a missed appointment, she called the office to inquire and let them know she didn't receive the usual confirmation call. The office manager quickly let her know "the call is not a requirement, but only a courtesy." My Mother disagreed. A week following this conversation a letter was received terminating her care. This is indeed, bad business and a horrible office manager with a bad power complex. We tried to reach her Doctor as she was referred to a GI for consult and her primary doctor, Dr. Moore, never followed up on the results. ONE missed appointment!!! The office manager clearly has a problem, but I would expect more from her primary care manager, Dr. Moore. read more

Yall damn nurses need to wear a mask. Especially during a pandemic and i would love to know if they had flu shots. Bad practice.

My first visit on July 28 was fine. I was prescribed birth control that my insurance did not cover after I had asked to make sure it would. I went in August 6 to get an IUD put in. I have had one in the past and had no issues. Three days later it partially expelled. I called the emergency number and the receptionist was extremely rude and questioned me after I told her I was Dr. Thomas's patient. So I found my appointment card and read off the only female doctor's name. I received a call from Dr. Clark to go in first thing Monday. I got there and no one knew why I was there. Even when I got in the doctor's room they had no idea. Dr. Talley removed my IUD and Dr. Thomas called me Monday afternoon saying she would call back on Tuesday to check in and give me a new pill prescription my insurance would cover. I heard nothing. I called on Thursday Augusta 13 after not hearing anything and apparently I had a prescription called in on Monday I had no idea about. Then the pharmacy told me it was the same pill that my insurance does not cover. No one from CPC returned my call. On Friday morning I called my insurance and they fixed it through the pharmacy. However, I couldn't pick it up until Tuesday August 18 because they were waiting on an order. Over the weekend my blood pressure shot up to 140/90 on Saturday so I quit taking the pill and my BP stayed up through Monday. I called yesterday to make an appointment with Dr. Thomas for today August 25 at 2:15 pm. I got to the office today and was told that I had to pay on my account before I could be seen. I said I couldn't afford anything today and I have not even received an invoice saying I owed anything. It hasn't even been 30 days since my appointment. I was told to wait and the nurse came back and said they could not see me. I left and received a call from the PA telling me they could work me in ten minutes after I left. I am angry, disappointed and frustrated. This kind of hassle is exactly why I hate going to the doctor. I was looking forward to having a general physician and now I have to look elsewhere. I hope that there is something said to the staff about their attitude towards patience and organization. I could have avoided today if I had been told over the phone yesterday when I made the appointment that I needed to bring payment. read more

For someone like me who has never liked going to the doctor the visit here was first rate in many respects. From time at sign-in to out the door was less than 40 minutes. I've been places where it takes twice that long just to be seen! I established with a physician, Dr. Moore, young and on top of her practice and patients. Doctors usually chastise or wag a finger in a tsk-tsk way to discourage bad behaviors, but for me i need more of a cheerleader -someone who supports my decisions or encourages me to make good decisions. She and nurse Tiffany do that. Because I started working out and losing weight on my own and her enthusiastic support for me in doing that keeps me motivated. I promised that I would continue with my progress and she'd hold off adding another blood pressure med. Goodie! Too much medicine in a person can often cause more problems. Dr. Moore's bedside manner is very good and beats most male practitioners I've encountered who usually grunt, hmm, and and see how fast they can get out the door. What I really found awesome is Tiffany draws blood in the exam room, rather than from centralized hallway where everyone passes through and nursing staff is chatting to each other. You don't feel like a hunk of meat. Tiffany is very good at finding veins so you don't find gouge marks in your arm. Overall they listen, appear to be very concerned for the patient and want to see the patient thrive. Their service makes me actually want to continue with check-ups than to put them off and hope symptoms go away. Established patients also receive priority walk-in service at the after hours clinic. UPDATE: I've been twice and both visits have been speedy yet productive. Highly recommend Center for Primary Care but especially these two professionals! read more

CPC is not the same and It's a shame. Been going for 20 years but no more. I called to change an appointment and was put on hold for 20 minutes. When someone picked up I was put on hold for another 7 minutes. Then when the next person picked up I was told I was sent to the wrong person and would have to be put on hold again. No thank you. I am gone. read more

Be prepare to wait, wait, and wait. Had been a patient for 3 years and every visit was a 1hr plus wait then you wait some more in the back. Just waited an hour to be told the doctor had to leave early.....really? Anyways, I'm done with those folks. Moving on read more

Got here at 12.. was in the room waiting for the doctor for over an hour and half..didn't see doctor AT ALL and had to leave at 2:35 because I had a baby sitter watching the kids for the appointment. There is no excuse and no reason why it should ever take that long after the fact that we were already in the patient room waiting to see the actual doctor. Horrible service. The nursing staff when asked just said "oh it'll be soon..few more minutes.." like no! Why schedule an appointment if you're not even going to be seen?! It's absolutely run terribly. Would give negative stars if I could. read more

I had to find a family practice doctor since I moved back and I'm so happy I did my research I saw Dr. Moore, she was so amazing very friendly I felt very comfortable talking about my concerns. The office staff was just as pleasant. read more

I have been a patient of this practice since 2007. I have had great service and great results from this practice. They have state of the art services and experts working there to make you well if you choose to listen and learn. They get me in on time and they work with my needs as to scheduling and such. They have good communication methods through internet, email access through their client portal and all that. I really like Dr. Clark and Dr. McKenzie. The front desk staff is fast and efficient. If you are looking for a great physician or a great medical practice, you should talk to these folks for sure. They do super-early morning hours sometime and they have Saturday hours by appointment. read more

This facility takes WAY too long to see you at your scheduled time. Every year I am here for just a check up. It is a minimum of 30 minutes after the scheduled apointment time to see the doctor. They overbook and it is very annoying that this facility has no care or concern for their patients time. This office thinks it is okay to waste your time just so they can keep their exam rooms full from overbooking. read more

Competent Doctors yes, but you are only a paycheck. I was told by my employer that I had to have a physical. I came to CPC Evans, for my doctor Shireen Q Moore to administer the test. I was told that it would be free of charge due to it being a physical. I had another doctor that administers the test for all employee's of my dept for free. I was instructed by staff not to go there they could handle it. it took 3 visits to complete the test, not their fault my employer needed specific tests. They charged me for all visits, even ones they had already obtained money from my insurance from then dropped me when I asked why I was being charged. read more

IMPULSIVELY DANGEROUS! I've been a patient of another doctor at the CPC for almost ten years. As a 25 year military veteran and dependent, I've found great comfort in finally having a physician who KNOWS ME, and has been there and treated me thoughtfully through some of the worst tragedies of my life. On Tues. Nov. 24th, I called the refill line, as I've done for nine years, to have my meds ready on the 27th. I received a call back saying "Dr. Livingston" was the only Dr. covering for the week, and would NOT be refilling narcotic meds for any of the doctors on holiday; meaning I and others would have to go without meds while waiting for our personal physicians to return. I thought this was insane! I called a co-clinic to ask if this was SOP. When Livingston learned I'd made that phone call he had a staff member contact me to say that if I "called another office about this incident again, he would personally write a "Letter of Dismissal." I was shocked at what I was hearing! On Dec. 2nd I received a certified, return receipt Letter of Dismissal; signed by Dr. Livingston. A letter stating I've been "dismissed" from ALL Center for Primary Care clinics as a patient! I have NO doctor. All I did was make a phone call to ask for policy. I was not rude, demanding, or unprofessional. Yet, this man, who I've never SEEN in my life - never MET, and never even SPOKEN TO, has summarily destroyed a working, trusted, doctor/patient relationship that took 10 years to build. Did he first make sure I don't suffer from a critical or chronic ailment? Did he research my medical history before barring me from timely care? I sincerely doubt it and, if not, what a dangerous and reckless thing to do! I wouldn't know this guy if he knocked on my front door, yet his intrusion into my personal life keeps me awake at night. How can this possibly happen? And the Clinic's response? "Policy permits any physician to dismiss any client for any reason at any time." read more

Total fraud artists . my last visit with Dr. Moore was fast , it was my yearly physical. first physical I have ever received where the doctor never made contact with me. She suggested tests she thought I should have and that in her mind constituted a physical. She still charged my insurance company hundreds of dollars. It is dishonest doctors like her who defraud insurance companies for procedures they do not even perform and that contributes to medical costs to rise. Plus if you are an American Dr. Moore acts like she is superior to you . Do not come here, find an honest doctor. read more
