Bascom Palmer did an excellent job at removing the fused cataract without a hitch. I know what some say about appointments being late... If they get a patient who needs a little more time or has more issues than anticipated...They spend the necessary time with them. This can back up others. I appreciate their concern and going above and beyond for all patients. They are not rated #1 in the USA for nothing... They are great! I could not be more pleased....

I got my answers & was able to move forward. Easy to find, I went to the Naples location. They are #1 eye specialists in the US.

I cancelled my Lasik surgery based on the poor customer service and my friend had even gone there…read more I gave them an extra star because I thought it was nice that they came out to let me know they were running late for my consult. I told the tech that I would be flying the week after my surgery and she said that was fine and we set up all my appointments. I told a couple of my friends and they said that I can't fly that soon after so I called Frantz and the woman who answered also said I can't fly that soon. She said someone would call me back to schedule my surgery. I did not receive a call back so I called over the weekend and left a message letting them know no one had called me back. Someone did call on Monday morning but I missed their call. I quickly called back and the person who called was unavailable and would call me back. I did not get a call back. I called and cancelled and told the woman all the issues I had and how I didn't feel comfortable having surgery at a facility that doesn't return your calls and that gives incorrect information and she said "Ok, we will cancel everything. Call back if you change your mind." HA! I don't think so.

Sent fax to wrong numbers…read more Although, I have 3 insurance policies, claimed a picture taken of my eye was not covered and costs $39.00. Cost never discussed until checkout. Claimed can only use one insurance per day. Called insurance and said that was false. Just a scam to get more than what insurance will pay. A little extra from each patient. I will be filing a complaint with Medicare and state. Can't recommend this office to anyone. I won't be going back.

Brad Snead determined the problem immediately and sent me to Heather, the optometrist in the office. She was so wonderful with me and went over all of my options. We scheduled an apt for 2 days later in the Naples office. She drove from the Ft Myers office just to see me and fix my glasses with a sticker. My son came with me and we both went on and on about how fantastic she was with me! I highly recommend this office for all of your eye care needs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will be switching to Snead Eye Group from my current eye doctor! Thank you!!!! Unfortunately, I have to edit this post. Dr. Snead failed me. I was there for diplopia and Dr. Snead quickly passed it off as an acute condition that would most likely resolve itself. It continued to worsen so I went to another ophthalmologist who immediately sent me for an MRI. They found multiple lesions in my brain. If I had not gone for a second opinion I wouldn't have know that I have cancer that had spread to my brain causing my vision problems. Dr. Snead may be knowledgeable, but he needs to do a better job of educating patients and spending enough time with them to know what is really going on. I will not be going back. Heather was a great optician though so if you just need glasses, she is great.
