Their system is programmed to drop you without any concern when you are waiting on hold for a STAT appt or desperate need. Completely insensitive and unhelpful. Their reports are often blurry and illegible even after requesting originals multiple times. They send faxes with blurry streaks and multiple printer lines and marks making them impossible to read. The building is nice with a ramp and automatic doors. Once inside there is good signage and I found my way to the ARA office without any issues. I checked in right away. The waiting room is large with plenty of available seats and a TV. Within 5 minutes they called me up and I had my scan done in ten minutes, maybe less. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The machine was very clean and looked new. They had a knee pillow for me to use without having to ask. Talk about quality of care! I will definitely be coming here for all my imaging needs.

You only do what he says after you have considered all of the other options and decided to follow his plan. Side options will always be on the menu - and you will always have alternative choices available. * * * My leg was not standard and it posed major obstacles under the skin. The veins were all convoluted like balls of yarn. It was hard for the doctor to get to where he had to make his changes. Other veins got worked into the deal getting treatments that paralleled those happening in the main operation. Other views were blocking the view and blocking the operation making the procedure complicated and painful The anaesthesioligst who was Dr Brenner himself had to put anaesthesia is some unexpected places. They coundn't get everything frozen or sleepy like they wantd to. So that procedure was far more painful than normal and far more painful than expected. All of the other operations have been normal making them both comfortable and effective. Veins were located in the right place and they did what they were told. So I had three operations on my right leg and a fourth is planned to finish old business. Results: The operation is meant to treat edema. The swellling and adema have gone down much more slowly that would be the case in a normal operiation. The known normal operations have generally had the desired results. My leg that was NOT operated on has also shown improvement That could mean none of my operations did anything However, I am getting fatter and that could make things worse in both legs. So I am inclined to give Dr Brenning credit for the changes in both legs. When the body feels fluid flowing differently in one part of the body, it can steer other parts to make the same innovation. * * * All in all, my operations have been of mixed effectiveness ... But I think Dr Brenner is fine. I think my legs are messy, weird and make it hard for him to work. I see clear and unquestionable signs of improvement. My rate of improvement is slower than what you get in the text books. My read would be if Brenner can get good results with a mess like me - he should be able to do good things for you too. And he does give you choices. You will know what you are choosing an what will happen. Most people are normal and most should have simple wonderful good results under his care.

I have gone through two procedures with the doctor the first one was on the lane with the discolored foot and the procedure really helped with the discoloration and the fatigue I was filling in my leg. I paid the bill, and had the surgery. After the surgery, I was sent another bill. The nurse, who had coordinated my surgery, would not return my calls to explain the extra bill. Their department absolutely refused to put anything in writing explaining why I owed them additional money. They then threatened me by saying, that if I refused to pay this additional bill, it would go to a collection agency, and that my credit score would be affected. Had no choice but to pay. In addition, the surgery didn't fix this issue. It helped but didn't fix.

The procedure was not ever fully explained to me that included serious risks of the aftermath. While the surgery did close off the saphenous vein as intended, the redness, torn skin, bruising should never have happened.

Just walk in, tell the lovely, super friendly front desk staff your name, and done. I've visited mannnnnnnnnny times over the years and have never spent more than five minutes in the very large and clean waiting area. All of the techs are fabulous! Everything from routine imagining to diagnostic, they all go above and beyond to make me feel cared about and comfortable. With limited mobility, they are also very careful, patient, and eager to accommodate any of my needs (e.g., a step stool, removing my shoes for me, etc.). During MRIs they provide a new pair of no slip socks to keep the lil piggies warm (you get to keep them). And, they even cover my body with a cozy, heated blanket...very spa like! It's the small touches like these that make an uncomfortable, and sometimes a bit scary, process much more tolerable. I'm so grateful for everyone at ARA-WP. Best location in the ATX in my opinion. I've had other doctors in other cities, but no one came close to Dr. Kravitz's knowledge (26+ years of practice), professional demeanor, and personability. He is knowledgeable on so many topics, and I know I'm able to ask him anything. And you know what? He listens. It's that simple. He sets your chart down, he looks at you, and he listens. Some doctors are just so harried they don't take the time to really let you explain what's happening or how you feel. It really does make the difference. We forget how important it is for a doctor to relate to his patients. I've seen doctors who have been cold, indifferent, uninterested in anything except performing an examination or treating whatever was wrong at the time. Sure, that's fine, but it's the bare minimum; it doesn't set me at ease. When I'm sick, and I'm concerned, Dr. Kravitz demonstrates a level of empathy I've yet to see in another doctor. It also helps he has a sense of humor! Even if he does not accept my insurance, I would only want to have him as my primary care physician. He's known me for years, and knows my medical history better than anyone. I hope to stick with him as long as I can. If you are looking for a new doctor in the area, you will NOT be disappointed.
