ARA Wilson Parke continues to please. :D Making appointments is a breeze. Day prior, complete online check-in (easy access patient portal) so no paperwork to complete upon arrival. Just walk in, tell the lovely, super friendly front desk staff your name, and done. I've visited mannnnnnnnnny times over the years and have never spent more than five minutes in the very large and clean waiting area. All of the techs are fabulous! Everything from routine imagining to diagnostic, they all go above and beyond to make me feel cared about and comfortable. With limited mobility, they are also very careful, patient, and eager to accommodate any of my needs (e.g., a step stool, removing my shoes for me, etc.). During MRIs they provide a new pair of no slip socks to keep the lil piggies warm (you get to keep them). And, they even cover my body with a cozy, heated blanket...very spa like! It's the small touches like these that make an uncomfortable, and sometimes a bit scary, process much more tolerable. I'm so grateful for everyone at ARA-WP. Best location in the ATX in my opinion. I shared my observations about the staff, noting that while other technicians can be more casual in their approach while laughing it up and playing around while processing the CT, *Bryce* stands out for his professionalism and the serious concern he shows for each patient. I've been to 3 different locations. And I've been treated the exact same consistency, respect and privacy and Covid etiquette. My wait time was 3 minutes, if that! I actually arrived earlier than they request, which is 15 minutes early. And they took me early. My whole appointment was about 30 minutes. In and out. Sara, who performed my exam was very respectful. She explained as she went through. I felt comfortable and safe and, relaxed during the whole process. read more

This radiology office Billing Department is Horrible and has Terrible Bookkeeping Skills !! I was referred to them by my primary doctor for a chest X-ray. My Bill was PAID by My Insurance Company and I did Not Realize There was a Portion Not Paid !! I have been out of town since July and had my Mail on Hold. When I returned to my home I retrieved my mail and discovered a $15.00 Bill from ARA Radiology threatening to 'Turn Me Over To Collection'! I immediately called ARA Radiology and PAID this $15.00 dollar Charge in FULL on 11/07/2022 with my Credit Card ! I had to leave my home again and when I returned I discovered that this ARA Radiology Co. Had Turned me over to Collection, Even Though I Had PAID THE BILL IN FULL!! Unbelievable ! They failed to email or call me regarding this Miniscule Amount that they said I Owed Even AFTER I Paid It IN FULL !! Instead they turned me over to a Collection agency and Now I have to Show Proof Of PAYMENT !! BEWARE, their BILLING DEPARTMENT DOESN'T KNOW WHAT IT IS DOING !! read more

They don't care about patients; they care about money. I went in for a procedure in December 2021. I knew it was a procedure covered by my insurance, yet I was told before the procedure I owed several hundred dollars. I said I didn't. They forced me into a payment plan because they wouldn't do anything until I paid something. (Notice how these companies are making you pay BEFORE a procedure, before ANY service is done?) Anyway, the promissory document I signed said I owed money based on "information we received from your insurance company." This was a lie. I noticed one month later I wasn't charged for what should have been my second payment. Then a little after that I got something from my insurance company confirming that it was a covered procedure. So it's quite obvious that ARA should have processed a refund immediately. They did not. They sat on my money, as I'm sure they do with others. I finally called, now mid-March, and first spoke to someone named Ben. He tried to explain it all away, saying that these things take some times, blah, blah, blah. I said I could tell the conversation wasn't going anywhere and asked to speak to a supervisor. I next spoke to Monique, who also offered nothing more than a canned, corporate response. They said they would have to send a check, and I said no. I paid with a card, and they needed to put it back on the card. I told them how I used to process credit card transactions before and that I know it can be refunded immediately. Monique wouldn't budge. So I asked for her supervisor. Her supervisor was conveniently "away," which probably meant they were being lazy at home. I was told I would get a response "soon," regarding this. Monique was very helpful and honest, and she constantly apologized, but ARA shouldn't have put an employee in this situation. ARA should have done this properly and correctly the first time. I should never have had to call. The money should have been refunded to me immediately, and they know it. They had no issue with demanding payment from me for something my insurance company said was covered (and supposedly ARA checked), and lied to get some money out of me. But now when *I* am owed the money they are taking their sweet time about it. Next time I will ask my doctor if I can go somewhere else and not have to deal with these crooks. Came here for my first ever mammogram. The check in was pretty easy, just had to fill out the general electronic paperwork at check in. The front desk staff were courteous but not as engaged with me like I would of wanted them to be. I felt like they could of been a bit more connected with me, a bit nicer. I felt a little nervous coming in so a little friendlier would have made me feel a little more comfortable. They were professional though. The facility was clean and spacious. When I went in for my exam I was attended by my technician and she made me feel more comfortable. She was kind and patient with me. She assisted me well with the steps in preparing me for my exam and explained everything to me step by step. For being my first time for one of theses exams, I was half my technician was good to me. I have this facility a four because as I mentioned I would of liked the front staff to be a bit more attentive and engaged with me. read more

I couldn't agree with several people any more than I already do. I was turned over to a collection agency by ARA for $86. No phone calls, letters or any type of communication. I also had a seperate bill for another MRI that I was paying on and they still neglected to inform me of the balance on the previous account. Greed is a terrible thing. And people are struggling monetarily more than ever right now. And you want to turn me over to a collections agency for $86, when any of my other payments could have been applied to that account and dissolved the balance. It's really too bad they have a monopoly on imaging thru ARC. I would rather go anywhere else to get imaging done that ARA. And I will avoid them like the plague. The women behind the desk are seldom congenial. They are not happy with themselves or their jobs, so the client has to bear the BS when they walk in the door. Go find another job if you don't want to be there. This is not my first run in with ARA. But I'll do my damnest to make sure it is my last! Far from a class act! Far from consumer oriented! Of all the ARA's I've been to, Wilson Parke has been top notch! The service was great. The front desk staff was very personable and pleasant. I was seen within 5 minutes of my entrance. As compared to other ARA locations, the environment was very clean and bright. Granted, this office is much newer but the overall energy was much more positive. It may simply have been as simple as the employees smiling as they greet you. It's amazing the world of difference a happy face is when you're greeted and being tended to. Normally I do not have any issues with this location. Today, however, they really messed up. Scheduled a fasting ultrasound for 8am. Got the reminder call yesterday with information on what it would cost. Arrived early, paid the cost, sat down. Soon was informed my dr has still not sent order. Why not tell me yesterday when I could've done something about it?? Very quick to take my money but no excuse for this. read more

This was my 3rd try at getting an MRI, if you are somewhat nervous and claustrophobic this is your place. Friendly from the time you walk in the door till the time you leave. This is my 3rd visit to this location.1st visit not good, but not worth a review.2ndwas pretty good. This 3rd one was unacceptable!! I was there about 10 minutes before my scheduled appt. There was only 1 person waiting. He went back and commented on how nice it was to be called on time. More people came in and we're called back. As this continued, I finally went to asked her f they forgot me. Nope,I would be called soon. More people in and called back. I was getting more and more agitated. They explained the others were probably here for different test. Ok, just how many machines do they have? At least 6 people went ahead of me! I was finally called back when no one else was in the waiting area but me!! Was there over 2 hours!!! This wouldn't be so iterating if I didn't go on a regular basis to a different location and was never treated this way. Probably won't return here!!! read more

I have been to this location several times in the last two years and each time it has been a great experience. I am immediately waited on by the front desk and the wait time has been about 10-15 minutes and then I'm taken back for xrays. Everyone there from the front desk to the xray techs have been so pleasant and professional. As one reviewer said, it feels warm and comfortable while you are there. For plain xray's, my Doctor always receives the results within four hours after they are taken which is great service in my opinion. I've been to several other ARA locations and this one, by far, is the most pleasant experience of all. I highly recommend it! read more
