Since my first visit things have really gone downhill. The three stars are mostly due to the nurse who brought me back and the provider themselves. The front desk lady is fake and doesn't even pretend to be friendly if she doesn't know you. Some of the regulars she at least gave a veneer of friendly but if you have been in customer service for any number of years you can spot fake. I had to see an ER doctor after my first visit for something unrelated and they gave me a different pain med. Per the pain contract I had to let these people know and was told to not take it and on my next visit bring it in. The issue came when I ran out of the pain pill they gave me, I called with 3 to 4 days left of it and spoke to 3 or 4 people and got the run around. Basically told again not to take the pain med the ER gave me and they would see about a refill on the one they wanted me to take. By Friday I still didn't have an answer and they close at noon. I found out Monday they had sent it in but neither they nor the pharmacy let me know so I went Friday to Monday evening with no pain pills. I brought the pills to my follow up visit and they didn't even dispose of them which is why they asked me to bring them. The doctor now said if I ran out again I could take them and tell them which one works better!!!! Sadly I don't want to start all over and I like the doctor so for now I am sticking with them but if this continues I may not. read more

No longer recommend. Between the office experience and their office manager, Lauren, their scheduling woman Sheila, and Dr. Singa himself, the service has drastically declined. There is a reason the other reviews echo the exact same sentiment. Lauren is rude and condescending and honestly, she has no clue what she is talking about half the time. They treat patients like transactions. That's it that's all. Last year, I ended up pregnant and miscarried but the way this practice treated me/the pregnancy/my other providers was honestly disgusting. Even then, I was receiving conflicting calls from different staff members having to repeat myself over and over again. There are several other pain management clinics to choose from. They lie about contacting you and when you show them they DIDN'T call you, they decide it's best you find care elsewhere. I bet. This is exactly what happened. I spoke with them on Tuesday the 3rd to schedule a follow up in March and by Wednesday the 4th they were saying I needed to be seen before my medicine could be refilled even though it was already due for fill and I was just seen last month claiming they called and left me message after message. Like I said, they seem desperate for money. As a manager myself, I see what is happening. Their employees are making activity notes as if they are doing their jobs but in fact, aren't. They don't like this being brought to light. Instead of taking accountability, they will make up more lies like "oh that's because so and so wasn't privy to that". However, if talking about an activity note that pops up on my account, ALL employees would be able to see this prior to scheduling an appt. Not to mention, THEY called me to schedule the March appointment. Not the other way around. They lie when it's convenient for them and fits their narrative. It's ironic that Dr. Singa would even have anything to say being that I haven't seen him personally since 2023. I was always pushed to his PA's. His prior PA Martin was very honest about how disorganized and chaotic this practice was/is which is why he left. His new PA Grace is lovely and I hope she makes it out of there asap. read more

Dr Singh was great for office visit. He explained the spine injection no big deal. Wife could drive to the Spicewood Surgery Center get the injection and then return to work. Luckily I drove her for the injection. She was in recovery for 45 minutes or so with no DR. Singh to even talk to. He was gone for the day. Inject and run! The nurse explained that her and a large male worker could get my wife loaded in our vehicle. My wife could barely stand and could not walk at all. The nurse recommended that when we get home, get her out of the vehicle and set her in an office chair and push her into the house. I guess it was closing time for Spicewood . It has been 25 hours and my wife had to cancel all her clientele scheduled for today and can now walk very slowly with little help. She has one more appointment but is afraid to return to this place with this Dr. Not sure what we will do. read more

Terrible experiences with the admin office of this clinic! Dr. Fay is an outstanding physician and a professional person. Thank you Dr. Fay. Laura, the "Clinical Manager" is very unkind and frankly a rude person. It's just not worth it. They cut you off of medication and treat you like a criminal. Never had a bad urine test with them for 3 years and suddenly they adopted a new test designed by them. It came back with erroneous positives so I have to cold turkey my legitimate prescription as they won't refill that or even the requested detox assistance medication. Never broke their rules but get treated badly by office staff in Crystal Falls. It's 2 star only because Lauren kindly helps my wheelchair bound husband. read more

Dr Singa provides is incredibly empathetic and knowledgeable. Lauren , who manages his prescriptions is very thorough and thoughtful.

I like my doctor. He's kind and he listens. I was his patient 6-7 years ago and was able to get rid of my sciatica pain. It returned Recently (4months ago) I tried a BSW doctor to get the injections, I got worse. I received two injections with no pain control. I screamed my head off. I decided to return to Dr. O and I feel confident he will help my pain again. He is willing to numb me before the procedure. Pray for me. read more

My name is Dr Carpenter, and regretfully after being a patient in their practice for several years and taking Hydro-codeine I found them to be inattentive during detox. I had detoxed twice while under their care by gradually reducing the amount of codeine. This time after a second hip replacement, 4 weeks out I fell and had spinal contusion. Resulting in a lot of pain. They chose to detox me in the midst of this trauma. So, when I informed them that I had not slept in 3 days and was experiencing nausea and vomiting no one called, because I had a scheduled appointment in 2 days. The reason I went to RSP, by my Heart Doctors, I was not to take over the counter pain medication. They even suggested that I should do that in the end. Every practice needs a Model to run their practice by, yet it should always differ to having a relationship with the patient. A genuinely concerned practice would call the patient and ask, "How are you doing, it sounds like you're going through a difficult detox and still experiencing pain from spinal contusions. Instead I got a call, 3 days after I didn't go to my appointment and left the practice saying, "we care about you and it is very important that you call our and reschedule your appointment," DOC's you forgot about relationship with your patient. read more

This place doesn't care about you. Don't go here. I never got resolution. When you complain they just say you drug seeking ! You can ever get ahold of the office. When I tried to calmly talk to them calmly they refused and interrupted me even the manager did this. Told me she said I was repeating myself and said she did not want to talk to me so i I hung up on her as she requested. I was at the office and because i ended the call she retaliated by telling the office to ask me to leave . I did and I called them and fired them . They were rude and insensitive. They are only getting two stars because some of the staff are very nice. The office manager for their Georgetown office (in addition to other staff) is ableist. She also does not like being called out on her ableist behaviors and tries to end phone calls because her actions are being "taken out of context". Microaggressions are still microaggressions, and putting avoidable hardships on someone as a result of their disability is ableism. read more

Pros: I got in for a consultation very quickly and my doctor pushed the process of me getting an MRI and surgical consult. She also had me in for a spinal epidural to help relieve my severe pain (from 2 ruptured discs) within a week. Con: Despite the evidence of a severe injury via my MRI, my pain doc refused to up my meds during the first 2 weeks of my injury. I asked if I could have one extra pill a day for the first couple weeks and was denied. I'd lay awake at night for several hours waiting for it to be time to take my pill and then waiting for it to kick in. When I mentioned my struggle and frustration I was told I had an injury and I should expect pain. While I did expect pain, I also expected it to be managed well enough that I would not lose several hours of sleep from it each it each night. read more

My mother was referred to Dr. Ostadian by her general physician. She is 79 and gets around with a walker. The doctor could see her medical history, and discussed, or rather investigated, it with us. She has various issues including a hip replacement and a broken femur from a year and a half ago. I was asking questions about why my mother had to wait days after seeing her general physician to see another doctor to get pain relief. The doctor didn't like my questions and raised his voice and got upset with me. On top of all that she then had to pee in a cup before she could get a prescription...a prescription that wasn't ready for over a week. We were definitely made to feel like criminals shopping for pain pills. UPDATE: The office called my house this morning to ask if my mom wanted to see a different doctor in the future based on my Yelp review. I was told that the information I posted was very specific and the doctor knew exactly who the patient was and that I posted incorrectly. I was told that they had called Walgreens to see when we were called. I had posted it took 1 week to get the prescription but the Walgreen pharmacist who I just went to see confirmed that we were first called 5 days after our visit. read more

Immediate got an anti-inflammatory called in and I was scheduled for injections the following day. I unfortunately have several pain conditions requiring me to see a pain specialist. My then current specialist moved out of the area requiring me to find a new physician. I selected Dr. O. I apologize, I am unable to correctly spell his name at the moment. Dr. O was not friendly. I respect his knowledge as a physician; however I questioned his treatment plan which I believe insulted him. My previous specialist had already tried his recommendations several times over including 2 injections the previous month before my appointment with Dr.O. He explained his policy was to try these procedures with his to see if they "failed" again, including the spinal cord stimulator (already tried and failed a yer ago). Ugg. I found Dr. O's "bedside manner" to be abrupt and condescending. I would think twice before becoming new patient. I do know others who see him and are happy; I was not. read more

Seriously - they want about $500 just to get a single prescription of 28 pain pills (2x (office visit + drug tests) + cost of pills) - and it almost takes an act of congress to even get it filled at CVS. Thanks to the office staff team for getting me in for a rush new patient appointment after hurting my back and dealing with excruciating pain. The process of booking the appointment and submitting paperwork was very easy. Dr. Ankit Maheshwari was awesome. Very personable, down to earth, listened to my concerns, and helped fix me up quickly with a course of medicine and a few trigger point injections which worked brilliantly. Very clean facility and convenient location. Thanks again for taking care of me so I can get back on the golf course and football field! PS, only one weird thing is about some mandatory urinalysis. Thankfully I didn't need any pain killers, so opted out, but it sounded like there would be a forced up charge for a urinalysis before they write any narcotic scripts, Each time. read more

This is the most genuinely caring group I've ever been treated by. Everything is explained in detail before even setting up procedure. I was notified ahead of time of any fees my insurance didn't pay. Dr. Rash Songs and Dr.Clement Yeh are truly concerned about their patients wellbeing. Everything is is discussed throughout treatment plan so you know what to expect. The Nurse and Office Staff are the best. After years of suffering I am finally getting some relief. With the talent of these two Dr.s I believe I will be able to live somewhat of a pain free life without tons of medication. Do not take your elderly loved ones here. Especially if they are having a lot of issues. Zero understanding. We had to take mine by ems for a pulmonary embolism. Then another for double pneumonia. So missed 2 appointments. I called (left messages because I never get a human) and they didn't document. So now they refuse to see her. Life happens they don't care. I could understand if she was just blowing off the appointments. She literally couldn't be there. ICU trumped that. read more

My experience is based on 10 visits for myself and spouse. We both received incredible care and the procedures were successful. I have already told others about this place. I would like to say, that on every visit, we witnessed patients (customers) being discourteous to the staff. I was surprised how helpful and sincere the staff handled these individuals. I love these guys and have been there several times for my neck and upper back. I've only had to pay a co-pay to have my procendure done. The last time I scheduled my procedur e they said I had to pay $275 to go to the surgery center next door. Since I have to do each side individually, that would be $550. I went somewhere else that did both sides for $275 total. I'll miss Dr. Yeh but being on a limited retirement income makes me a little more frugal so I do a price comparison. read more

This pain clinic is the best medical facility I have ever visited. My doctor referred me to them for chronic back pain. The phone was ringing as I walked in the door from my doctors office visit to schedule me for an appointment. Never had that happen before. With other facilities it usually takes two to three days and I have to call them. The visit with Dr Singa was professional and clear. He looked at my records and verified the information about my previous treatments. He explained what could be done for my condition. I elected to follow his guidance and participate in the treatment he recommended. The surgical center at the facility is absolutely first class. The nurses there are really good. Upbeat, pleasant, and very efficient. They are the most positive people I have ever worked with on the medical field. Super professional. read more

After 2 years with them I was terminated as a patient for having a clean urine test at the end of my prescription refill, leaving me in utter pain on day I did need the medication.... Back story I did have some urine screenings positive for THC. They asked me stop so I did. I had three clean drug screenings because I didnt take the pain medication every day. After the third they terminated me. Getting them to call you back is a trick. Getting them to actually send the medication to the pharmacy on time, where you haven't run out, is almost impossible meaning you can't go on vacation, or not be near the pharmacy that day. read more

My initial visits was with Dr. Clement Yeh, down to earth person, good communicator and explained what needed to be done after my MRI's were received. Due to a billing/insurance issue I was transfer to Dr. Ostadian, Dr. Ostadian took care of both epidurals, a very kind and sharp doctor. I choose local anesthesia and procedure time with waiting time was around 50 minutes total. Procedure pain level was minimal, I could feel the pain medication going down my legs. Later that afternoon I could feel pain relief and can take up to 3 days to get the full affect and possible might need a second shot in each location. Will know after the follow up in two weeks. Admin personnel are very professional and helpful, areas are kept clean and seats are comfy. I would recommend RS&S to anyone. My only problem was with their billing department, but after a few calls to them and my insurance company on a 3 way call everything was corrected, but the process will take a couple of months. It did not affect my bill. read more

Outraged and in pain. $4000. later and Less than 2 months later the Dr. Signa( A Pain specialist) Has the audacity to advise me a patient suffering server excruciating pain for years but unbearable now more than 6 months that there is nothing he can prescribe me other than a long list of non narcotic non opioid meds( which my Primary could have and already has done)and a long list remedy's and useless referrals(mind you he is supposed to be a specialist in all the dept.) And there is not a temporary fix or anything that he can do to help decrease the pain until i get my other health conditions in order. We'll this is why i have a primary Dr. He needs to Jump on the Pain relief wagon and grab the reigns. As far as the reviews of him listening to the patient, Yeah lon the MF problem. read more

I was diagnosed with sciatica due to a herniated disc between L5 & S1 that was causing shooting pain down my left leg. I contacted Republic Spine & Pain who told me that they could see me the same day. They stated that they had an opening at 3:45pm but as it was already 3:30pm, they understood that I most likely wouldn't be able to get there by 3:45pm but that would see me as soon as I arrived. At 3:50pm we received a phone call letting us know that Michelle Escue would not be able to wait any longer and I would need to reschedule. I explained that I was a block away from their office but was told by the office manager, "sorry" that there was apparently a miscommunication within their office and Michelle wouldn't be able to see me. After begging them to please make an exception because we were already told that they'd see me, she said there was nothing else she could do. So they rescheduled my appointment for the next morning at 8:30am. I am normally a patient of Dr. Yeh but due to scheduling, Dr. Ostadian was set to perform a steroid injection into my spine. The procedure was completed; however, I only had a single day of relief before the pain returned and was worse than it was before I had the injection done. I was told to give it a few days, that this was expected. Over the next few days, as the pain continued getting worse, I became unable to go to the bathroom. I contacted Republic Spine & Pain and explained the situation. They told me that my insurance carrier, United Healthcare required that I wait 2 weeks before another injection could be performed. I explained that there's no way that I could wait 2 weeks for that to occur as I was unable to urinate or defecate. Rene, at RSP told me that I should reach out to UHC to explain what's going on to see if they could approve it before the two week mark. I contacted UHC and spoke with an Advocate who informed me that Republic Spine & Pain had never reached out to them for prior approval. They recommended having the doctor contact their clinical team to explain why the procedure was medically necessary so they could look into a possible approval. I relayed this information to RSP and was told by Nicole, "I've done this for over 5 years. They never provide us with a prior approval for this procedure, so I can tell you now that they aren't going to start now." I explained what UHC told me to have them do, but she refused. After interrupting me repeatedly, she stated that there was no reason for them to call because she already knows what they're going to say. Nevermind the fact that UHC specifically told me to have them contact them to explain the medical necessity. When I tried to push back, she hung up on me. I called back multiple times to try and reach the Office Manager (Lauren?) and was hung up on again... repeatedly. When I called back the final time, I was finally able to speak with Lauren who continued to make excuses for her staff, stating that I was speaking to them rudely and that she felt that's why they kept hanging up on me. Seriously? I was trying to explain what UHC told me to have the doctor do to get the procedure approved, not to mention the fact that I'm in severe pain and haven't been able to even go to the bathroom in 3 days. Dr. Yeh is a good doctor but if you can't get the staff to even take a moment to listen to you as a patient, do what they can to get procedures approved, and not gaslight their patients so they have justification in their minds to hang up on them, then they shouldn't be allowed to treat patients. This has been the absolute worst experience that I've ever had with a doctor's office in my life. I will be filing whatever complaint I can with the medical board and posting this review on as many sites as possible so others can avoid the same experience. read more

I live over an hour away from the doctors office and was told by the doctor that special case by case, would keep me on as telehealth, and now the company will not keep me on telehealth after even though the doctor already said he would. It is over an hour to his office where I am going to have to wait 45 minutes either in the lobby or in a room in complete pain, for a 15 minute conversation that says yep you still need our help. Now they want to drop me completely because I am still trying for the telehealth. Also the person that sets the appointments, is very rude and did not want to even try to help but argue with me. So yes if I could I would give a negative 5 stars!!!!! This company's left hand doesn't even know what the right hand is doing. Not once or twice , I was forced to reschedule testing and MRIs because the company does not follow the right steps .... I had call 3 times because of this problem, to make sure the company had the correct authorization to do the MRI and told yes they do and the day before have had to reschedule because they are not doing their job. What could have been helped MORE was doing your job the right way the first time and make spend 3 extra months in pain.... and now they want not keep me.... this not a good company anlt least not the staff. read more

While I was very pleased with Dr. Ostadian, I was not pleased to learn (3-weeks after the appointment) that the "required" urinalysis was $320. I knew I would be "required" to submit a sample, which is somewhat understandable with all the concerns over opiate addictions - but I definitely don't like it. I signed the consent/acknowledgement form for this. However, the consent form fails to mention even a broad range of costs for this test. (I suppose I could have asked - but based upon my conversation with the 3rd party billing company, I don't think I would have received a straight answer.) I informed the doctor that I was most definitely NOT seeking pain medications for two reasons: 1.) In my case, the effect is quite temporary 2.) I have a strong aversion to any medications (particularly narcotics), due to the side-effects and long-term risks... not to mention, the risk of addiction. In other words... the purpose of this visit was to possibly address the source of the pain (spinal injection), rather than mask it with medication. (I've had the treatment before in another state - and never had to submit to drug testing.) With the above in mind, it's perplexing to me why anyone would require a new patient submit a urine sample when the patient has no need for and/or no intention of requesting prescription narcotics in the first place. I'm sure however, that requiring all patients to submit samples with regularity, no matter the patient's need/desire for narcotics, is quite lucrative for the testing labs. And to think we spend any time contemplating why health care is so expensive. If I LATER needed/required prescription narcotics, then I would be pleased to comply - and be billed a reasonable rate accordingly. I would strongly encourage Republic Spine & Pain to review their policies concerning the wholly unnecessary testing of patients who aren't prescribed narcotics, and further, add a range of charges for such testing to the consent/acknowledgment form. read more

My doctor is good but the administrative practices are a bit sketchy as they charge the patient $100 for drug screenings which the patient is 100% responsible for. This seems outrageous to me as they process these in house. The admin staff are also not attentive with staying on top of prior authorizations. You also can't reach a human by any option on the telephone system. I'm headed elsewhere I think. read more

This is my second review for Dr. Ostadian. He has remained sensitive, caring, knowledgeable and willing to spend the necessary time with me on our visits. He and his staff all treat me as an individual and they are always pleasant and helpful. Not much has changed in two years other than his location. It's hard to improve an already great service. Dr Ostadian continues to be among the top medical Professionals I have had the pleasure of knowing, and I highly recommend him and his staff. read more

Warning about hidden prices for visits! I went to them for a back issue and paid $120 up front. There was a mention of a drug test, but I told them I wasn't interested in getting any opioid prescriptions. They did not indicate that there would be a large additional cost above the $120 already paid for the visit plus another $275 for the drug test! The 1 visit ran over $500 and I was with the Dr. for about 10 minutes! read more
