First visit scheduled, spoke with 2 representatives from the call center. First representative to confirm appointment. Second representative from the call center went above and beyond to input message that I would be 5 minutes late. He also said if you are within your 15 minute window there would be no trouble. I had mu husband drop me off within the 15 minute timeframe to be turned around, stating sorry all the technicians went home. I normally don't write reviews however to be turned away on a first visit, maybe I will look at this as a blessing. read more

Find another provider. This company is closing many locations - most recently in Niles - and now has stopped doing spider vein treatment. I was told the reason is "it isn't a money maker" for them. So if you go here they will treat big vein issues and bill insurance, but then you are left twisting in the wind for follow up spider vein treatment which ISNT covered by insurance and is out of pocket. I landed at this company after they bought out Midwest Vein in Glenview. What a mistake. read more

I went for eight (yes EIGHT) sessions of sclerotherapy with Dr. Mesh. I had originally booked to see Dr. Lindner and Tina Monaco but it was right as the business turned over to Center for Vein Restoration. It was my first experience with sclerotherapy and I figured a doctor's a doctor so whatever. Man, was I wrong. I had no idea what to expect but after every session I saw minimal improvement and more veins showing up in areas that previously were not problems. It seemed never ending. I didn't know if it was me or how my legs responded to the treatment or what, but after eight months of treatments, money spent, compression stockings, etc. I finally gave up. I was still pretty unhappy with how my legs looked and managed to book an appointment with Tina at her new location and holy crap. In ONE SESSION with her, my legs are 80-90% cleared and she didn't create a single new problem area like my previous treatments did. I don't even think I need another session because she was so incredibly thorough, but I can't stress enough what a relief it is to finally feel good about how my legs look. Also, I have to add this because it made me laugh: at my final session with Dr. Mesh I was checking out and the receptionist told me it would be $300 (every other one of my treatments was $250). Dr. Mesh overheard and said, "she's a $250 gal" so I paid my $250 and went on my way. A month later I got an invoice for $50. So yeah, two stars because Dr. Mesh is a nice enough guy, but never again. read more

I had an excellent experience here getting some veins in my leg addressed. They took the time to educate me along the way. They dealt with insurance for everything. It was easy to make appointments. Most of all, I LOVE the staff here. Dr Lindner, Tina and everyone I worked with there was so warm, down to earth, intelligent and just some cool people to hang with while they're working on your veins. Seriously. I had a really good experience at Midwest Vein Center, from my first appointment to my last appointment. Everyone is very friendly and there are no surprises, you know exactly what you're getting. The staff is so kind and caring, they're truly one of a kind. Something I was concerned about was out-of-pocket expenses. Since I have Blue Cross Blue Shield, I only had a co-pay. I also have Aetna but they do not cover this procedure (which in my opinion is ridiculous.) I had very painful varicose veins at the age of 29 and they only got worse. This procedure removed the veins and the pain was totally gone. It was 100% worth the time and commitment. No one at any age should have to suffer from painful veins. If I experience this again I will definitely be back. I wouldn't trust anyone else. read more

This review is for Tina who I saw here a few times more than a year ago for sclerotherapy. Tina is fantastic! I have a mild case of spider veins and have this procedure done as needed for maintenance. She always listened to my concerns and was very thorough during the procedure. I called the office a few weeks ago and was informed they were bought out by another company and Tina is no longer there. The staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful but I decided to do a little research on Dr Mesh before deciding to make an appointment and unfortunately I saw reviews from other patients that they are not happy with his work. I then decided to call around to a few other doctor offices and spas and by luck I found Tina at DVida Spa on Wells!!! I made an appointment and was able to get in the day after I called and I am happy to say Tina once again did an amazing job! read more

After three months my legs look terrible and I have a sore, hard as a rock section of vein in one leg. I am not going to go back for follow-up appointments because they closed the location I was walking to at 680 N Lakeshore Drive in Chicago and now I would have to find some way to get to Wood Dale or Orland Park. I don't have a car so this would be extremely expensive and time consuming. I never would have gone to there if I had known the Chicago office was going to close with no notice. I was told that they will pay for an Uber for new patients to get to their suburban offices, but not for patients who have already paid thousands of dollars. read more

Dr. Lidner and Tina Monico are THE BEST! I have had varicose veins in my legs for the past 20 years. I had some successful sclerotherapy treatments in the past but annoyingly, new veins keep forming so there is a constant level of maintenance for me. During my first pregnancy I had one vein in particular really give me trouble. In the last month of my pregnancy it throbbed so I had it looked at by Midwest Vein Center. Dr. Linder did an ultrasound on it, she answered all my questions thoroughly and we developed a plan to come back after my baby was born to get it taken care of. I have been back for 4 sclerotherapy appointments with Tina Monico and she is the sweetest! Not only is she incredible and efficient at her job but she also goes above and beyond. I was having a really rough day and arrived 15 mins. late to one of our appointments. It was one of those days where everything seemed to be going wrong and I just started sobbing in the patient room with her. I was just having a bad personal day and she went out of her way to help me and make me feel comfortable. Bottom line, my legs look great now (goodbye spider and varicose veins!) and they made me feel special and cared for at every appointment. I had such a positive and productive experience at MVC! I previously had a failed laser surgery that caused me burning and a lot of pain in my leg. I thought I had to live like this forever. By the grace of God I found Dr Lindner listed in a Chicago Magazine featuring the top doctors in Chicago! I saw her picture and I loved her smile and kind eyes! I have had recurring issues with the veins on my legs for 6+ years, and have had painful and literally scarring treatments at the hands of other providers. I went to the Center for Vein Restoration, as I had leg pain that woke me up in the middle of the night. Dr. Mesh performed a vein ablation to correct the problem. The procedure was painless, particularly after the injected lidocaine. I no longer have any leg pain. Dr. Mesh is extremely intelligent, and he performed the procedure expertly. After years of painful and annoying vein issues and a couple of surgical procedures (which had good results but still left some troublesome areas that I were told were "cosmetic") I decided to consult with Dr Lindner and she discovered that I still had a treatable vascular issue that was causing the problem areas. She also told me that her office could likely get insurance authorization to correct ALL (even the "cosmetic") issues and that it call be done in her office without anesthesia (one of my biggest fears) Her office did obtain the authorization, informed me up front of my total copay cost and gave me a generous interest free payment schedule (they were even able, thanks to Dr. Linder, to obtain a re-authorization that saved me money by having one of my procedures on both legs on the same day). Everything was done for me as expected and the results several months later have been amazing!! Dr Lindner and Tina Monica are two highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals; however it was not only the skill and expertise of Dr. Lindner and Tina that made a difference. Their warm, positive and personable attitude....which extends to their entire staff...was definitely part of the therapeutic environment that led to my good results. This is a very professional, friendly business and I was impressed. On a recent snowy afternoon Dr. Lindner called me in advance of my appointment to discuss my treatment options and learn more about my case. In the end we determined that I was not a good candidate for this type of treatment, but the kindness shown by the doctor, who wanted to save me a trip downtown in the snowy weather if she could determine over the phone my condition, was very much appreciated. Do NOT go here! I previously went to this office prior to Dr. Mesh and loved it. I do not recommend him at all! He is an extremist, unethical and is only there to make money at the expense of your health. I went there for minor spider veins and he suggested getting bilateral ablations to both my legs to treat unsightly surface veins. In other words permanently cutting off the blood supply to those veins (I'm only in my 30s). How is this the most appropriate approach? It is only appropriate for making the office money. He is out dated in his approach and is dangerously radical. I would highly suggest seeking an alternative office for your esthetic vein treatments. I NEVER even had any treatments done and walked out paying several hundred dollars despite them indicating a "FREE" consultation. The Center for Vein Restoration used bait and switch marketing to get you in the door by offering a free consultation, to only turn around and bill you several weeks later for a new patient visit. How does billing someone $350 equate to FREE?!? 100% NOT worth your time or money going to this office or any Center for Vein Restoration! read more

Just completed my final appointment with Dr. Lindner and I can't say enough good things about her and her team. After having a few not so fabulous consultations with other doctors in the city I was beginning to think I should just leave the bulges in my legs alone...SO glad I made one more appointment. The Midwest Vein Center has been one of my most positive experiences ever at a doctor's office. Everyone in this office was extremely kind, helpful, and friendly throughout the entire process of my varicose vein treatment. While I may have dreaded coming in for a procedure, I always looked forward to seeing the team's smiling faces and cheery demeanor. Every time I received treatment, whether the laser treatment with Dr. Lindner, or schlerotherapy with Tina, everyone was sweet and helpful in keeping me occupied and my mind off the procedure. They both explained the procedures well, and made it easy for me to approach them with any questions I had. I felt woozy while getting my first ultrasound, and remember everyone wanting to make sure I felt comfortable; they turned the lights off, brought me water, and gave me a comforting lavender neck pillow to help me feel better. Shortly after my first appointment, Dr. Lindner made a point to introduce herself to me while I was still in the office, just so I could get to meet her before our first procedure and ask her any questions. The entire team is truly dedicated to helping their patients look and feel better. Met with Dr. Linder regarding a varicose vein behind my right knee. It had been bothering me for years and I met with dermatologists and clinics (like spa clinics) that said they could get rid of it. They would inject me collapsing the vein some but not completely and sure enough it would come back. It would throb and ache from time to time but I never had good results until I went to Midwest Vein Clinic and met with Dr. Linder. She did an ultrasound and explained to me this was a feeder vein which was the reason for also broken spider veins. She then proceeded to tell me it also can have the tendency to clot. She did a laser procedure with the assistance of Tina and Lupe and now the vein is gone. It's dead and disappeared. I am so relieved. I should have gone there from the start but had so many "promises" with bad results and didn't want to spend several more hundreds of dollars to get rid of it. Turns out that insurance paid for it too! DO NOT go to clinics and spas for this type of work. You need an actual doctor for an accurate diagnosis.
