Avoid this clinic if you care about your body, long-term appearance, and expect professional accountability. I had a spider vein removal procedure done at Center for Vein Restoration, during which they used a laser process involving a staining agent. At no point was I informed about the possibility of permanent staining. As a result, I've been left with three large, disfiguring marks on my right leg -- still clearly visible a year later. When I contacted the clinic and showed them the outcome, hoping for support or next steps, they completely dismissed me. Instead of acknowledging the damage or offering help, they pushed the issue aside and told me to consult a skincare specialist -- refusing to take any accountability for a treatment they performed. Their lack of transparency and follow-up care is disturbing. This has not only left me with physical marks, but also emotional distress -- I feel deeply self-conscious and uncomfortable showing my leg in public. I am in the process of filing formal complaints with the Maryland Board of Physicians and the Consumer Protection Division. I also want to make it clear that I have photographic evidence of the staining and am willing to share it publicly if needed -- because patients deserve to see the risks that this clinic fails to disclose. Do your research. Ask detailed questions. And seriously reconsider trusting this clinic with your health or appearance. read more

I visited the center in June. The tests I had, the doctor I saw was great. Getting any kind of customer service was absurd. Thye made a mistake on my bill charging me for things my seconsary insurance paid. I spent almost 10 minutes n hold trying to get thru to billing. I spent another several minutes waiting to talk to someone and then waiting for another long time wiating for the person to check my bill and get back to me. If I ever need that kind of service again, I try somewhere else. read more

The doctors are good. But the office lacks customer service that is needed to correct their mistake. I was informed by one of the staff who was in charge of my care that the compression socks the doctor ordered was covered by my insurance. With that understanding I ordered the socks through them. Later I got a bill from them for $156 for two pairs of socks. Which I would have gotten the Same pair from the same company for $28 each. I called the billing department to make corrections as I was informed by the staff that they were covered. Billing department stated that I have to pay for them as I have not met my deductible. And told me that it was my fault. I asked to be connected to the office manager Kacey who initially Agreed that this has nothing to do with deductible and that she will handle it with my insurance and the Socks company. She never called back. Kacey the office manager was either on a break or not in the office every time I call to follow up. Still I have not heard back from her ( where are you Kacey ) Unfortunately the cost of that is now a financial burden to me. These will be the most expensive socks I will ever own. It would have been one thing if I agreed to it. However best response I got when I asked who I can complain to. The answer was " oh we don't have any e-Mail / person you you can submit your complaints to. You can go to our website and you can submit your complaint there. " My only suggestion for whoever is reading this is to get checked out but don't order anything from them. Or better yet look for another place that wants you as their patient. I had my final treatment today. I have had a total of 8 treatments and will go back for an ultrasound check-up on Thursday. The Center for Vein Restoration is the most professional staff of medical experts I have ever dealt with. They treat you like a valued customer. They made special accommodations for me because of my allergy to zylacaine. Since I am a certified advanced hypnotherapist, the doctor gave me the hypnotic suggestions that I asked him to give me so that I would be sure to stay in theta brain wave and thereby be able to have all of the procedures done without anesthesia. They also put saline solution in the refrigerator to offset the heat of the laser, since I wasn't taking anesthesia. They played meditation music during the procedure to help me stay in the theta brain wave hypnotic state. I really appreciated them going through all the extra work for me. There is NO downtime. My circulation is now so much better and I can do things I could not do before the treatments. read more

My mom has an treatment appointment at the this location couple time. The Rockville location is way better than this. This location request you arrive 30 mins before your appointment and the wait time for this location is at lease 45 mins to 1 hours. We had an appointment at 830am but they won't call us until 9am. We had a regular check up like 10 mins. After, we sit here again and wait for the doctor. All we do here is waiting and waiting and waiting. The stuffs here are nice, don't take me wrong. I just don't get it why the Rockville Location is faster and with the same stuffs. read more

Had an excellent outcome at Center for Vein Restoration. Several years previous, I had been to their Rockville location, life changing result with this technique. This time, chose a location closer to home. There are several appointments with the follow up check involved, SS location was good for me. The tech found nothing wrong and nearly sent me packing, but I insisted that I recognized the pain from the first time. The doc examined and said, yes, I would have improvement for venous insufficiency, and we set up the appointments. Staff is very good, they have you in and out quickly. The technique is not painful, a temporary annoyance, but it goes quickly and oh, the results so worth it. The legs feel lighter, walking and standing is better, you've gotten rid of the veins that were not doing their job. Bruising from the technique goes away in a few days, but expect some, and again, it's worth it. I found I needed to take no time from work. Their hours are such that I could fit the appointments in a lunch period or immediately after work. Only problem I have is that on all web entries and adverts for this and other centers, the emphasis is on cosmetics--you'll look better in a bathing suit. More than that, I can say. Your body is not working so hard. Faulty veins are causing problems, which easily be eliminated. It's a health issue if you ask me, much more than cosmetic improvement. My hospitalization didn't cover the whole cost of the procedure. It was worth it for me at twice the price, plan ahead, though. read more

They said the pain in my leg was caused by vein "reflux". After the procedure the pain got worse not better and my leg circulation is worse. To top it off i'm getting varicose veins are now popping up. When i tried to discuss things with doctors, they had no answers, and the receptionists were exceptionally. Never, and I mean never, go here. This is more of a review of the company as a whole, which I believe is based out of Chicago, than this particular location. This location, was fine. I didn't find the doctor particularly sympathetic, but the technicians were nice and competent. I've had major problems with this company. The first started when they decided to bill me twice for my one appointment, claiming that they treated the assessment and meeting with the doctor as two separate appointments, even though I only made one appointment. It took months to get this taken care of, including phone calls that were never returned. Billing is apparently handled at the central business office, and you can never get a hold of person. You can only leave a voice mail, which took months before I had it returned. I had to send a threatening email to finally get the problem corrected. Then I discovered that they had signed me up for their patient portal without my permission, even picking answers to security questions. I do believe it is illegal to pose as another person for whatever reason, but especially when medical records are involved. I am beyond upset over this company and I will never give them my business again. read more
