It's well-lit and it has been easy to find parking. Today, I walked around the facility and it's nice. It reminds of the Parks & Recreation facility in Hoover. It's clean and seems well maintained. They always have new equipment like the new squat racks, but they still have lots of old machines that need some fixing. Last time, only two out of the four stair masters were working. They also have F45 classes, which are so much more affordable compared to F45 classes outside of the rec. The F45 instructors give great attention to everyone and motivate you to keep doing your best!

Years ago, I brought my students here on a field trip. There are healthy eating classes and workout classes offered in the warmer months. Check their FB page or website for exact times and dates. One of the coolest parts of this park is watching the trains go by. It's not called Railroad Park for no reason, lol. Parking can be tricky when there's an event being held here. But that's no fault of the park itself. There's nothing like a peaceful walk in the park and this park is the perfect place to do just that. Come visit!

There are some exceptions related to youth sports, where the kid can actually still come here - but the parent will not be able to work out. Overall pretty nice facility and they have divided it out amongst the 3 or 4 floors - pairing stuff that goes together. The very top of the walking/running track. Basketball courts and a pretty nice pool can also be used. If you are a Hoover resident and would like to check out gyms, add this one to your list before you commit to anywhere else. Going to this place has become routine for me due to my kids participating in sports. However, I have observed basketball courts, a swimming pool area, a gym, and an indoor walking track. There is adequate parking outside and this pace is not far for highway 459. The basketball courts are where I spend most of my time. There's adequate seating for the normal volume of parents and fans. This place is consistent with most of the gyms in the area. My only suggestion for improvements that the front desk staff be more friendly and willing to offer assistance. My first couple times here, I had to figure out where I was going. No one at the desk greeted me or offered any kind of help.
