Rude...condescending.. genuinely one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a body shop. The person at the front desk seemed like they didn't know what they were doing, every time I spoke to them and then one of their mechanics, (when they FINALLY answered) it was always contradicting information. I never got the same answer twice & the whole situation wad a bad case of miscommunication. They seemed annoyed that I was asking questions & I felt totally taken advantage of. Two days after I picked my car up, I started smelling something funny. Took it to a tire shop, ended up jacking up the car, popping the hood, & looking around. Only to find THEY LEFT PAPERS UNDER MY HOOD DURING REPAIRS & THEY STARTED TO CATCH FIRE!! So.....I got into a small fender bender in the beginning of March. (my poor car ). I sent it to the Honda dealer in Morgantown, and they told me a place to send it. I sent it to Center Service Auto Body in Morgantown, and I am beyond happy. While it did take a little bit to get it started (insurance and delivery of parts), the people here kept me updated and finished as quickly as possible. Dan gave me his number for if I had questions or needed an update, and was very nice and responsive. When I went to get my car, it looked brand new! They even cleaned the entire inside of my car, floor mats and everything. Another plus was that the few valuables I had in there (just my sunglasses, some cash...etc) was hidden for me and my electronic system was put into anti-theft mode. These little things they did not go unnoticed, and I am beyond happy with the results! For my first time dealing with something like this, I am so glad Center Service took care of me. I had my sunroof replaced through my dealership, which outsourced to Center Service. They replaced the sunroof but failed to reinstall the wind screen..the part that prevents it sounding like you're in a wind-tunnel while the sunroof is open..so I couldn't use it. I called Center Service to ask if they had the part laying around and they said they'd call me back but never did. So the dealership had to order me a new one. What I want to know is when you're done with a job and you see a major part hanging around..don't you think to yourself.."oh someone's missing this, I better fix this". The last time I had my car repaired at Center Service I would have given them 5 stars. This time, not so much. They have been terrible to deal with. The repairs took 3 weeks for minor damage. When I called for an update, I got the run-around. I don't think they even worked on it half the time it was there. I'll never go back. read more

I took my car here after getting in an accident. It was in pretty bad shape so it was going to take a couple weeks to get it fixed. All of the other auto body shops in Morgantown I talked to told me it would be a couple of weeks before they even would take my car. Some of them even told me that I would have to wait a few days before they would give me an estimate. However, I was told I could come over to Center Service anytime I'd like while they were open to get an estimate and they took it that same day. When I got my car back it looked great, the body and paint job were excellent. They even cleaned the inside of my car, which was unnecessary, but appreciated. I got my car back on the date they originally estimated that I would. I was very happy. If for some reason I get into another accident, although hopefully I will not, I would take my car here again. They worked with my insurance company and it wasn't a hassle at all. read more

I've had my vehicle repaired here twice and I've been displeased with the service both times. They take too long and don't communicate with customers about issues with insurance or other problems. They use cheap aftermarket parts and don't bother to tell you about problems they notice while repairing the vehicle. I don't recommend them. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS AUTO SHOP!!! Someone hit my car a few months ago and I had to go to this shop because of insurance reasons. All they had to do was fix scratches & painted the bumper. That took a full week. When I picked up my car I found a 15 inch crack in my windshield. That was not there before, because I would have noticed something that big. The supervisors and technicians claim that the crack was there when I brought my car in and they refuse to fix it. A 15 inch crack doesn't just appear out of no where. I had a 2011 Kia Forte Koup that had a hit and run done on it. I decided to use Center Service for repairs and boy did they do a great job. The time frame they quoted wasn't correct but that really wasn't their fault as the replacement parts from Korea came damaged so they had to be re ordered. They regulary called and checked in with me on the progress of my vehicle. I also had special decals (non manufacturer) on my vehicle that they were able to reorder. Now I've had a few accidents in the past and never has my car's inside been cleaned! This was an awesome surprise. They also did an awesome job on the paint work! On my KOUP they had to replace the quarter panel which is always tough to do when blending the paint back in and they did an amazing job at matching the exact color. My car was complete in January of 2012 and to this day no flaking or anything. Their paint job and repair is holding up very well! read more

I was recently smacked in the rear driver side door by a little old lady I had three estimates done and she chose Center Service Auto Body I was a little apprehensive seeing as they weren't the most expensive nor were they the cheapest the people their were respectful and very polite the work they did was outstanding hell they even detailed my jeep before giving it back to me bear in the little old lady wrote them a check before they started the work and they had my jeep for a week but as I stated above they did an amazing job so all in all I am a happy camper . P.S. by LAW...they can only address what is estimated. any other problems that someone may have should be assessed by a Mechanic DUHH. and as I said above mine was paid in advance and I believe they did a stellar job thanks guys !!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This place is great! My car was pretty messed up and they did a fantastic job fixing it up. And they also cleaned the inside of my car, washed the exterior, and I think waxed it too. Dan the manager is very helpful as are the ladies up front. It is a VERY busy place but I'm pretty sure they'll get you an estimate right away even w/o an appt. They also seem to be very adept at dealing with insurance companies. Basically, they have their business down and know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them for any accident related car repairs. read more

Although it did take 4 weeks for my car to be ready, I am blown away with the service. These guys were so nice and went above and beyond. I picked my car up tonight and it was washed, wax, shampoo'd, detailed with a fine tooth comb! It was glistening. After I complained that they damaged paint that they were not working on, Don Shaffer told me "this paint was probably cracked and fell off while we were working on your car. We didn't chip your paint. I threatened legal action, and he replied "I'm Don Shaffer. I own this shop. Have your lawyer call me." I will, Don Shafter. read more

Paint warranty is bogus and subjective . I some years back had some insurance work done here after hitting a deer. After some time the paint bubbled on the fender that they had to paint. Dan, the manager, refused to warranty their work based on a picture of the original damage and his opinion on how much they "probably" would have blended the paint. They refused to even look into the blemish to determine if they were at fault, without charging me for their investigation labor. I will not use Center Service for any additional work soley because of their shaky warranty claim. read more

I have used Center Service Auto Body for years. What more can you say when you come away completely pleased every time? I have never had to return the car back because it wasn't done right the first time... they DO IT RIGHT the first time! Very professional and courteous. I agree that they are very busy so you might have to wait a little but what does that tell you?? THEY ARE GOOD so it's worth the time invested! And, as the other poster mentioned, they work with insurance companies extremely well so the experience isn't so stressful. I will go back again definitely (although I hope there isn't a next time!!). read more

I will never deal with Center Service Auto Body again!!!!! I had my car taken there on March 5 after an accident. I was told it would be ready in 2 1/2 weeks. I still don't have my car and after talking with the Dan (the manager), it may not be ready this week. Wrong parts werer received (whether their error or the parts dealer) and there was additional damage than what was on the original estimate (I didn't know this until today, 4/2/2012). I will not have transportation after 4/4.2012 becaue my insurrance will only pay for 30 days. Dan didn't even care that I might not be able to pick up my car after it is fixed. He refused to help pay for a couple extra days for the rental car because he said it wasn't their fault. How can their estimate of time be off by almost 2 weeks? I can understand one delay for wrong parts, but not twice for the same parts. I will never use Center Service Auto Body again for any type of body repairs to any car. I didn't want to give them any stars but at least 1 is required. read more
