The first time I brought my senior cat in because she hadn't pooped in several days, there was a female visiting vet who was really nice. Gave my cat a subcutaneous injection of H2O under the skin on her neck to hydrate her to help her poop. Totally worked. Then several days later, no pooping again. I brought her back for another injection and the owner of the vet business, Radjeep Turna, gave her an exam and took her to give her another H2O injection. Brought her back out and refused to give her the injection and said she was "growling at me and might attack me." This an 11 lb, 15 year old, sick, in renal failure cat. The man is a freakin vet, albeit an incredibly shitty one, but a vet. Does he think all his patients are going to be compliant?? Did it never occur to this jackass to get a tech to just hold her while he gave her the injection?? I was charged $111 for NOTHING. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE. I only did because it had walk-in appts available because I had just over back to the area and didn't have a vet yet for her. That man should NOT be a veterinarian. He didn't help my cat at all and had the nerve to charge $111 for doing nothing but look at her. No wonder they have walk-in appts available...they are TERRIBLE. The owner, Radjeep Turna, is a jackass who's afraid of his pet patients and charges for doing NOTHING TO HELP MY PET. He shouldn't have a vet license. read more

The words that every dog owner dreads "dental cleaning" I know those words mean I will have to pay a lot of money and my little doggie will need to be sedated to have a cleaning and possible extractions to maintain optimal health. I'm your friend so I'll also share a secret: it makes me feel guilty that I failed to clean my doggies teeth well. That is how I feel whether it's true or not. I feel bad. That is my mindset. Here is how Center Veterinary Clinic handled it - without knowing my mindset: Dr Turna explained to me what he sees and why it's problematic. He then used a visual image to reference what areas of my dogs mouth are the issue and how cleaning and or extractions will alleviate discomfort and infection. Dr Turna then asked if I had any questions then patiently listened to my concerns and questions. I am so thankful for this kindness. "Our dogs can't speak to us with words so they do xyz" Dr Turna is right and that made me feel confident in our next steps. The staff (I don't know their proper titles) presented the treatment plan, answered more questions, scheduled the appointments, and took the time to make all of us feel like we are a team advocating for little Max's care. When I first went to Dr Turna it was because my previous vet kept giving antibiotics for an abscess that eventually burst through Max's face. The extraction went so well, we switched to Center Veterinary Clinic. I want a doctor and veterinary team who sees Max for his healthy visits and is also there for his more serious visits that require sedation, post surgical medication, and follow-up care. I trust Dr Turna and his staff with my little guy. He is my entire world this little rescue doggie. Center Veterinary Clinic does their part to make sure he's a healthy and happy boy. I like knowing I can trust everyone to advocate for his care on my behalf during those rare surgical appointments. I love this clinic for all those reasons AND I never have to feel embarrassed to ask for a discount in these tough economic times. They just offer it to our family on the treatment plan which I appreciate. Trust is hard to earn and even harder to maintain. I trust Dr Turna. They took care of our cat, who had been bitten possibly by snake. It got infected and had a abscess. They very caring and try to trim cost when they could. After treatment, which included sedation. I woke up to my dog vomiting all over the house because it was reddish color, I threw on some clothes and called what I thought was Tru Vet Emergency in Petaluma. Well I got Center Veterinary and they were able to see my dog, diagnosed him and provided treatment quickly. I was in and out of there. This is how the visit started: I called to find out what the cost would be for a blood kidney test & was told no prices over the phone. So sick/tired of these vets getting away with ripping off people in their communities with deceptive business practices, lies, bait/switch tactics, we need laws or these vets need to be sued. I had to pay a non refundable portion of the visit over the phone & the rest after the exam. Dr. Rajdeep tried to finesse & control the conversation by telling me I needed to purchase tick and flea medication TODAY and that should not leave without it as my family and pets will be at risk. My dad was with me that day, so he can attest to everything that I am saying is factual. Dr. Rajeep was twenty minutes late for our appointment. He interrupted me every time I tried to speak. I could clearly understand by the look in his eyes & the vibes I was getting that I was about to be victimized by yet another dishonest veterinarian. I stated multiple times to the gal at the desk I was only here for one thing, a blood test to see if my cat had any kidney problems bc she was marking my house even after her spay, she was otherwise a very normal & healthy three year old cat. The receptionist made me fill out forms two times, then questioned me about my answers as to who what where when my cat was seen by a vet, on tick meds or special food, vaccines etc. No was the answer & I was only here for a simple kidney test. That was not enough. She came back again asking me more questions about my cats previous vet visits. Extremely invasive, not your business, I am here for a blood test for urinary tract infection only. Dr. Rajeep comes in very concerned with his soft spoken controlling voice telling me for my safety and my cats safety that she needs to go home with flea protection today, because ticks will live in your home and sofa and you will have many ticks!. Low and BEHOLD A GIANT BLACK TICK IS UNDER HIS HAND RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES THIS TICK APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE on top of her coat, right after he moved his hand away, there it was. I was STUNNED. I said where did that come from? He said she has ticks. Not possible.I told him I would buy the medication at Costco or somewhere cheaper. So while he's still examining my cat, he tells me he cannot feel her bladder, that I would have to leave her behind for a few hours so he could get a sample. I said no way is that happening. I said tell me the price of the kidney test that's all I want. He said I had to have more than a blood test bc the blood test was just a baseline. I asked again how much the blood test would be and he hesitates because he is now realizing that I am not to be played with, that minus the tick meds the price would be just shy of $600, not including the exam fee of 95.00 which was not the amount I was quoted over the phone. I jumped up and said nope, we are outta here. Then I was almost charged for the full visit AND the deposit for the visit. This veterinarian is just another snake oil salesman. A simple kidney test should not anywhere from 35-80-120 tops. This is the sleaziest experience with a vet thus far. Veterinarian business is so disgusting nobody will be able to afford to have pets, they will become a luxury for the wealthy only, the rest will die in shelters as nobody will be able to afford to help their animals without going into financial debt. This is what happens when corporations/insurance companies take over. Here to fleece the middle class. read more

I brought my dog in on the same day as I called as she was not well. I was very impressed by the concern of the staff and the doctor's attention to our needs. After some bloodwork and an injection for advanced osteoarthritis, I went home and only 26 hours later, heard from the Vet directly with a diagnosis and plan of care. We were very happy that Center Vet Clinic was able to get us in on a Saturday as a new patient. Our little dog was hacking in a way that sounded bad, and she seemed sick. We called and got her in right away, and it already seems to be improving after only a few days. We received a call from them to follow up, which was greatly appreciated. To be honest, I didn't like it. I felt they were more focus to sell their products rather than my dog's health. I brought my dog for a well check then the vet told me that she got wax in the left ear and she was supposed to get a professional nail trim. I paid $154 for the cleaning, nail trim and ear drops. I think it was expensive. Also, they asked me to come back in 1/2 hour and my dog was not ready. I waited a bit more than one hour because I got up to check if my dog was ready. They didn't even apologize or be more friendly. Overall I didn't have a good experience there. read more

My Toy Aussie had an urgent need and I contacted Center Veterinary Clinic. I needed a same day appointment and saw on their online Ad that they offered emergency services so I called them. They got me in within 1 hour. They were awesome! They truly care and were very professional. It took 2 visits to get done what needed to be done as we needed to have bloodwork etc before my baby had to go under general anesthesia. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! I have been searching the ends of the earth for another vet for months for my pup who is now in her senior years. Today I was desperate to find someone who could help her with her skin allergies and eventually her teeth. After searching the web I found Center Veterinary Clinic and they had glowing reviews so I decided to give them a try and an added bonus I could get her in same day and it was Saturday! All the staff were so nice and dealt with my emotions in such a respectful and caring way. My dogs are my family so I don't trust just anyone with their care. Dr. Turna was efficient and explained clearly what was needed and showed me all the costs before doing anything on my dog. Although still expensive as vet services generally are it was necessary and nothing extra and I agreed to treatment. My dog was treated with respect and gentle care. The nurses and front desk staff were so kind and knowledgeable about the medications I received to take home. I walked in a desperate and very stressed dog mom and left able to breathe and know that my dog will be on the mend from a skin infection and ear infection that was worse than I even realized. This place is wonderful and while I would love to keep it a secret to myself so they don't get too busy I will be generous and express how great they are and it's way worth sending your animals here. Dr. Turna is a kind man with sound clinical judgement. He did a good job removing several growths from my old dog's hide. The office has Saturday hours. I was really worried when Center Vet changed hands and Dr. B left. My dog, Jack, has several rare conditions that factor into everything we do for him. It was not an issue! Dr. Turna is a wonderful vet with a world of knowledge on different treatments and their impacts. I have found him to be very caring, sincere and fair. When one type of treatment doesn't work he is ready with another. He doesn't give up! So refreshing! And more importantly, Jack, at ten years old approaching eleven, is better than ever!
