On the MMA side of the gym: Rob's MMA striking class is great and he will make you get comfortable in your opposite stance. Henry's submission grappling class is ridiculously fun and he is amazing at helping you jump into something that feels so completely foreign if you're new. Darren could not be more passionate about boxing and is so good about teaching you both the outer AND the inner game of boxing. In the kickboxing class Jon is all about proper technique so he will help you undo all the poor form you didn't even realize you were doing. Matt is a pro Muay Thai fighter who is approachable and a wealth of knowledge. In Jon's MMA striking class you get awesome instruction while doing really fun exercises and he will whip you into shape but with a sense of humor the whole time. On the BoxFit side: Mariel and Lilia lead super creative HIIT circuit classes that will make you sore for days. Mandy is a lovely badass and by the end of one of her intense classes you will be surrounded by a pool of your own sweat. Eric is hilarious and will push you to push yourself! If you spend any time here you'll quickly get a sense that Eric and Mandy work hard to make this feel like a community where everybody is welcome. They do this in terms of offering classes at really affordable prices, but more than that through the way they authentically interact with everyone who walks in the door. I was pretty intimidated about walking into a gym like this for the first time but it feels like an ego-free zone where you get the opportunity to learn new things alongside friendly people. It doesn't hurt that Chris at the front desk is incredibly welcoming and there's usually a sweet lab named Rio waiting to greet you. For first timers: -First class is free! (They have gloves you can use if you're not sure you want to buy them yet) -Don't believe Google maps' lies; the main entrance is off of Bridge St., behind Dunkin Donuts, not off of Bridgton Rd.

I'm overweight, I eat bad, I drink too much... and this class almost killed me!! In a totally good way. It's hard, really hard. You work at a high intensity pace for 60 minutes and can burn up to 800 calories. It is no joke. You can make modifications of things if you can't do certain things, but you will still work hard. You will sweat like you never have before! The thing I loved the most was that it was a great work out, but I didn't wake up in lots of pain. I felt great everyday. The trainers are very good at their jobs and so welcoming every day. I recommend to anyone that wants a great workout in a beautiful gym with wonderful trainers.

He truly cares about each client. The spin classes are high energy there are approx 20 bikes and you reserve your spot in classes (all classes offered even bootcamps) through the app or website. I love this feature because the classes are never over crowded! You've got to try the kettlebell classes. John is certified as master kettlebell instructor and he keeps a close eye on proper form. This is so important and often overlooked in overcrowded classes. John and his wife Pam are very helpful, take advantage of the free assessments you sign up for these with the app as well!

They don't even have the decency to offer a refund for at least 4 of those months or even for one month since I wasn't using their services for 8 months They refused to give me any refunds. There was a reason why I was only a member there for a month. Bunch of crooks and too greedy! I was not impressed with this place at all! Go to Kuma Fit instead. You find better people there.

Be sure to take time to read the screen at each hole because there's some fun facts specific to that theme! On that note: I appreciate how tech forward they are here. You'll be given a unique number before you start playing, at each hole you enter it on the corresponding screen, do your scoring digitally, then move on. If you need the server, there's also little buttons on each screen to call them over. But, to their credit, they do a fantastic job organically making sure to get around to everyone to take your drink orders! A couple constructive criticisms: - Do people not know how to play mini golf? We had several other customers give us a hard time for being in their way... but we were playing 1 through 18 while lots of other people were just kind of bopping around to whatever hole they wanted. - There's a couple cornhole sets right in the middle of the course, and it can be very congested if folks are playing that while you're trying to play golf (you will literally be in the way of them throwing). - Golf is currently $20 per person. PRO TIP: make a reservation and pay in advance online, then create a tab for your drinks when you arrive. We made a spontaneous decision to visit, and while they were super accommodating!, our round of golf for two people and the two drinks we had were all tabbed out at the same time... which means we were tipping 20%+ on two drinks AND our golf. Honestly? That feels sneaky. I'd rather just have multiple charges on my card. - Skip the cocktails. I'm not sure I'm the demographic: I'm a childless adult who went with my partner, had a cute/fun time, but after that initial novelty? I don't know that I'd need to come back here. I guess it would be to bring family or friends from out of town/out of state to "do something" if the weather wasn't great. While it may be controversial, I'm glad they moved the food trucks to the lower lot. It's less crowded when you arrive and less crowded near the food trucks - meaning only people getting food are in the area, vs people walking/running through with animals and kids that aren't going to the food trucks. It's also less noisy not being next to the generators. We love the food trucks there and will continue to enjoy them while also enjoying the peaceful hill. The kids in the family really enjoy the canons and the playgrounds. The times we have gone the playgrounds have been clean - thankfully no needles or trash anywhere to be seen.
