The food is good but it's the only restaurant in this area that I know of that charges for water! Greedy!

My family has eaten here many times over the years. Sometimes we eat there, and other times we call our order in, pick it up and bring it home. The steak house is located only three miles from our home, so everything is still hot and fresh. I prefer sirloin steak, but since it's not on their menu I usually order their New York Strip... when I order steak. I have yet to be disappointed. It is always cooked the way I order it and it's nice and juicy. In my opinion, the hidden gem is their grilled pork chop plate. You can choose to order one or two pork chops. They are thick and cooked to perfection. I haven't found any better, outside of my own kitchen. I recommend trying their baked sweet potato and salad bar as the sides. Another favorite is their hamburger steak plate. I know this should be a simple dish to get right, but you would be amazed at how many bad hamburger steaks I have eaten in my quest for the best. It's sort of a guilty pleasure I have. If I had to rate all of the hamburger steaks I have tried from best to worst, I would rate Centerville Steakhouse's as number two or three. My husband enjoys their fried catfish filets, but they have too much breading and not enough meat for my taste. Since, others in my family seem to like them, I am not letting this dish effect my rating. Last but not least, the staff is always helpful and courteous. In all my years of eating here, I can not remember one negative experience with either the owners or their staff. In this day and age, that means something. read more

This is the best place to get a steak. I have tried many places all over the Lee/Itawamba area and nothing even compares to this place. It has a country feel and fantastic atmosphere. The service it too notch. We take both friends and business associates to eat here and all of them love it. There is a week that goes by that we don't order from them. read more

I'm always afraid to order my steak the way I like it - medium rare. Most places will be too rare. Brad will PERFECTLY cook your steak. No worries. The staff is friendly and service is great. They are the best all-around locally for price/quality. read more

When me and my girlfriend arrived, the placed was packed with vehicles. Generally a good sign of a wonderful place. We were told their was a 15 minute wait and that was accurate. We sat down and it was 12 minutes before a waitress came to us. We immediately made our complete order. It was another TWENTY minutes before we got our drinks! By the time we got our waters, we were done with our salads and hush puppies. As we were miserably thirsty, we watch the waitress go to different tables across the restaurant and do refills, take orders, and socialize with co workers. We were highly pissed about that. Anyways, she brings our drinks and a few minutes later brought out our food. We ordered a steak for two and some catfish fillets. We ordered the steak medium-rare. It came out as well done. Not even close to medium-well, the catfish was by far the worst fish I have ever ate. I love some catfish no matter how it is cooked. This catfish taste like it came out of the most polluted water in the world, wasn't wash, and cooked for a couple minutes. It was disgusting to say the least. Prices weren't too bad and had a decent atmosphere. We wanted to love this place since we live near by but we are cautious about it now. read more
