We never ran into the owner until just before leaving on the second day, but felt at home the whole time. We will definitly be back again the next time we are in the area, it is definitley a home away from home kind of place and was a great value for quality of accomodations. Of concern is that they were fined in May 2025 by the Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine for having expired medications in working stock and some that were opened without noting the date of that, having a dental machine with dried blood on it, as well as other violations. My pet did need a second round of meds, which sometimes is how it goes, but now I don't know if the first round didn't work as maybe it had been expired.
