One of my favorite local spots to go. I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. The staff makes you feel like family, they are friendly, on top of things and down to earth. Sean likes to make sure everything is done and the other ladies are personable and fantastic as well. My favorite things on the menu include the Ruben, the greek chicken flatbread, the grill potato, the chips, and the pot pie. The food is always consistent, and fair prices. They have breakfast on the weekend and the Rudd bowl is my favorite. They make you feel like family and the food always taste wonderful. A great local spot for you and your family to go to! Came here for lunch with my mom as a recommendation from her eating here previously. I've been to this shopping center so many times and did not know such a great little place was hiding in there! Staff members were friendly and kind, service was great. They had a lot of full tables but our food came out pretty quickly. I got the shrimp and grits and they were absolutely fantastic. The grits were cheesy, the shrimp was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. My mom got the chicken pot pie which was also delicious and has a puff pastry crust on top. The fried green tomatoes are the bomb! We had them as an appetizer and I also had the BLT (with fried green tomatoes) on rye and it was scrumptious! The potatoes chips were good too (I think they are house made)! I've also had the chicken tenders which are fresh and crispy! The grilled chicken Caesar salad is chopped with bite sized pieces and quite tasty! The galley style restaurant is dim and rather plain. There are a couple of tables outside as well. The service is a tad slow during busy lunch hours, but the server was friendly. We come here often and always are satisfied! read more

Arrived a little after 7pm on a Saturday night, we had to wait which is completely normal for any restaurant although there isn't a space to really wait. We were either in the way of people entering and exiting or in the way of staff getting behind the bar which made waiting difficult. The gentleman behind the bar was great and kept us informed and really was running his portion of everything amazingly. I think had we been sat in an area he was running our experience would have been different. After finally being sat we then were waiting for the waitress to take our drink order, at this point the restaurant had thinned and it wasn't as full as prior. We sat for 15 mins before even being approached to ask about drinks. At one point another server noticed this and addressed the waitress which shortly after that she did finally approach us. We ordered and the food did arrive relatively smoothly. We ordered 3 kids items, a BLT, a crab cake sandwich, wings and a Cesar salad. The Cesar salad had a heavy mayo flavor on the dressing versus a typical homemade Cesar dressing. The wings were solid and well liked by the person ordering them. The crab cake sandwich came on a bun with nothing else, no lettuce, no tomato. It was served with a single pickle, a side of grill sauce and chips heavily flavored with a BBQ type seasoning. The fries served with meals also had the same BBQ type seasoning which was very overpowering. I noticed that even with other tables refills had to be asked for as the waitress running our table as well as two others seemed to not be observant of when tables had finished drinks. We received no refills our entire meal but honestly we all just wanted to get out of there. I really feel a lot the issues were due to improperly trained waitstaff and unfortunately the food wasn't good enough to overlook that. I think if you come here you're going to have a very different experience if you have the guy at the front handling your order and service. He's stellar and he'd get 5 stars by himself. Popped in for a quick drink. I'm rarely in their part of town, and it just looked like a spot I'd enjoy. Service was inviting as soon as I stepped inside and was offered a bar seat, which I readily accepted. Very clear regulars crowd, which is always a great sign. Bonus points for the regulars being very friendly and chatty without being overbearing or forceful. Most of the bar patrons knew each other and the bartenders, which just makes the spot feel comfortable and neighborly. I only had a couple of drinks, but the menu looks pretty strong for what some may just consider an average strip mall joint. I'll add this to my short list whenever I'm nearby and thirsty (or hungry)! read more

Well, if you like the smell of cigarettes on all the wait staff, the inescapable smell of cigarettes at the entrance, the most socially awkward wait staff, sick wait staff, as in, the waitress obviously had some sort of horrible upper respiratory infection, so bad that she didn't have a voice, but was still allowed to be at work to get customers sick? This place is one of the most repulsive restaurants I've ever been to in my life. It's the week of thanksgiving and our entire family is probably going to be sick because of this person's selfishness. Not to mention the horrible cigarette breath of the waitstaff every time they'd bring food or drinks to the table...am I supposed to lost my appetite when I go to a restaurant? It felt like I went to a friends house for dinner. Kind, friendly and attentive. The was good. But not the best I ever had. But my feel of this restaurant is not the perfect date. It's more like the what do you want for dinner after work on a Tuesday. Good spot for the night you don't want to cook and don't want to wait 2 hours for door dash. Either they are making accounts to up their ratings or paying off the locals cause this was the worst food I've had in years. The nachos are clearly made with microwaved Tostito's nacho cheese from a jar. The entrees were somehow worse. My wife got bbq pork and it was literally the pulled bbq you get from one of those Jack Daniel's bags in the frozen section at Walmart (she threw up) In total my table got the seafood pasta, a club sandwich, some type of chicken dish and a meatloaf dish. I was very pleasantly surprised by ease of online ordering and how well packaged my meal was. I ordered the salad and shrimp and grits. It was perfect! Salad was nicely chilled with homemade ranch dressing. The shrimp was plentiful and large. The bacon on top was great. The restaurant is tucked in a strip mall with mostly other restaurants. The place was pretty packed with locals but we didn't have to wait to be seated and was greeted by a super nice waitress. We had a few questions being this was our first trip there and the waitress guided us on some popular options! I decided on the 3 egg omelet with cheese, mushrooms, onions and bacon. The dish comes with a side of potatoes and choice of bread. Pretty tasty and it's always a plus when Texas Pete is a condiment! I have only ever come for breakfast and it is always my go to breakfast/brunch spot if I'm going out for breakfast. Anything you order with be good but I love their specials that they have on the weekends. Recently I had a gingerbread pancake that was to die for. The have great prices, great service, and great food. I can be pretty busy especially around brunch time and they don't have a waiting area so just be prepared for that.
