A young lady came over who was very polite and courteous and began collecting my information, she was told by Kim to do another task instead which was off putting for me since I had been standing there for a while already. Kim came to the pick up area, attention divided not acknowledging me nor what I what I needed. Upon return the second time, she finally asked for my information. Once given to her she asked for a photo ID and I had to go back to my car for it. The purpose of online pickup is to be faster than an in store shopping experience. The time it took standing around, getting the run around and interacting with the unprofessional associate... I could have walked in the store found my item and checked out at the register way faster as that was the only line moving efficiently with ample help. I do not plan to return to this location due to her negative attitude around me questioning why I needed an ID after presenting the name, having a barcode ready (that was never asked for) considering my name is very unique and the chances of anyone coming to get the order, on this specific day/time/at that very location, who wasn't myself or spouse, would be very random and unlikely to happen. Horrible interaction with this person. Truly lacked communication and customer service skills especially for someone in leadership. She could learn a great deal from her employees who set a way better example than she did.

This is the second trip from Murphy's, as they had to order parts for each desk. I feel this has been way too long, as this furniture was purchased in the early Spring. s My second issue. About a week and half ago we purchased 4 pillows and two lamps from the store in Lynchburg. Our sales person was Cory Reyna. At that time, he didn't show us around, or really help us look for the lamps. I was the one that found both the lamps and the sofa pillows for our previously purchased furniture at another furniture store. The pillows were delivered late last week, on Thursday or Friday. He told us then that we had a month to return anything we might not be happy with. Today we returned two of the sofa pillows, as the sofa is not big enough for 4 huge pillows. He told us he would take care of a refund and that someone would call us on Tuesday, October 29. I gave him the pillows and asked him for some type of receipt that he had the pillows. He threw them at me and told me to keep them, and that we would hear from someone on Tuesday. This is not acceptable customer service. Even though our kitchen is still a work in progress while we wait for our upper cabinets to be installed, the countertops and backsplash already look absolutely beautiful! What impressed us most, however, was their customer service and professionalism. After the initial installation, I felt that a few of the backsplash pieces were not as cohesive with the countertops as I had hoped. One slab had a noticeably different tone, and some of the veining direction and movement did not flow consistently with the surrounding pieces. Rather than dismissing my concerns, Page and her team truly listened and stood behind their work. They replaced the backsplash, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Foreman Don and his crew were outstanding throughout the removal and reinstallation process. They were professional, respectful of our home, detail-oriented, and took great pride in their workmanship. The new backsplash looks amazing and flows beautifully with the countertops.
