We have a residential refrigerator in our RV, which stopped cooling while we were traveling through Arkansas. We found out quickly that RV repair places won't work on residential refrigerators and appliance repair people won't work on units in an RV since they must be unbolted and doors removed to look at them. We were so lucky to find Central-ARK Appliances in Little Rock, a family-owned Appliance sales and repair store. We parked our RV in the lot. Danny and his crew spent considerable time moving and unbolting the unit and getting the repairs done. Most places will have to order the part, but since we were in a bind, Danny fabricated the fan and housing from the parts he had. He worked with the warranty service to pay for all the repair costs, including our hotel stay for the night. They even stored my husband's drugs that needed refrigeration (and our refrigerated goods) for the night while repairs were made. What great kindness to strangers! This company was recommended to me by a friend when I was searching for new appliances. I knew I did not want to do business with lowe's or home depot. I made the short drive out to them and I am so glad I did. I will never go anywhere else as soon as I walked in. I was promptly greeted by the owners. They were very helpful and tentative to my needs and budget. They are competitive to anybody else that sells appliances. But what won me over? It was how friendly they were and actually cared about my needs. They carry all major brand appliances. They do repairs. And one thing I have learned is I want to do business with a company that can actually come out and repair my appliance if I need it and be there for me. Not just someone that can just sell it to me.And then tell me to call an 800 number of i have a problem. They assured me if I ever had a problem and needed service while it was under warranty, they would handle taking care of them calling the manufacturer for me. I am so glad that i listen to my friend. As we had a mishaps with another company, I got in touch with Josh to deliver a fridge for me within a couple of hours in total. The communication was consistent, and when he promised something he went above and beyond fulfilling that promise. Not sure if installing and ensuring the fridge worked properly was part of his job duties as I reached out to a third party to save my mishaps elsewhere, but he took the time to make sure it did.
