We stopped in to switch the 6 month old tires from the front to the rear and to get 2 new tires for the front. Service staff "refused to use the front tires at all because they were too badly worn" so we were faced with buying 4 tires. Because the front tires were only 6 months old we held off on the appointment and drove back to Firestone figuring they must have a warranty for those "bad" 6 month old tires. Firestone examined them and said there was NOTHING wrong with the front tires! We only needed the 2 back tires replaced that were few years older. How many other unnecessary "repairs" do they scam people with?! We have lost all trust in dealing with Tire Pros service personnel.

I appreciate their honesty and the fact that they don't call me "sweetheart" when I walk in the door. I appreciate their recommendations like "If you're just driving around town, this will be fine, but if you're traveling out of state, you need this fixed," and "We could fix this now but it won't negatively affect your brakes and it would cost you a lot of money. Otherwise, we could fix it when you get your brakes replaced and you'll save on labor." (Paraphrased, but these are real things they've said that have been helpful.) Greg was patient and waited on the phone while he guided me on where and how to check the size of my tires. He made sure to inform me about the various tire options all while pricing options for me. He was honest about the inflation of tires which I respected. Had I known the inside had such an intimate setup, I would have brought my work computer to finish some emails. Next time, I will! My Jeep was brand new (maybe 15-20k miles), but they called and said there was some internal issue that was a problem. Every car owner knows this feeling after taking your car to a new place and being told you need to do x,y,z for $$$. Lancer went the extra step and called the Jeep dealership to see if it was still under warranty (which it was for only a month or two longer). They were not looking to charge customers for unnecessary things, but in fact, really looking out for their customers. I would definitely recommend them to others in the area.
