First of all this place made me feel real welcome when I walked in they told me they were going to take care of me.i had two problems I needed to take care of.i paid for the problems to be fixed by them. I picked up the car told the problems were fixed.then I got the car home and noticed one of the problems was not fixed.called them they said they did there best .but not fixed .I had already paid them. So nothing can be done. Then I noticed a couple weeks later that they had taken a couple of parts off my car that I still need.and those parts will need to be replaced that will be in the thousands of dollars. Getting scheduled in can be a little challenging but you will soon realize that it is worth the wait due to the quality, service, and pricing. Recently I nicked my garage and got some white paint on it(About a food in length). I scheduled a time to bring it in to get fixed, but when I brought it in to get an estimate, they came out, cleaned it up with some chemicals, and sent me on my way with no charge. I insisted on paying but they insisted that it was more important to make me happy. Their above and beyond, make the customer happy, and beat expectations is something that happens every time I visit. I would highly recommend you go here to get your car fixed or detailed. I recently had to get my trunk, bumper, and tail light replaced after being rear ended. My car is old enough that the insurance company wouldn't pay for the repair, just the salvage. I was going out of the country so as I left I told Central Ave to do whatever costs the least, and don't do any paint- just used parts. The guy who looked at it to take the car was very honest and upfront, telling me it wasn't going to be a couple hundred dollar job if that's what I was thinking. I came back to pick up the car and it was all done for me exactly how I asked- done for a price I was very happy with. I originally found this place through an on-line daily deal of some kind or another. However, since my original visit I have returned to have my car detailed twice. All 3 times I have had a great experience - with both the service and the work. They have provided me with a free loaner car while the work was being done and 2 out of the 3 times arranged for a 3rd party leather repair person to come and fix puncture wounds in my leather seats while my car was there for the detail work. (Labrador with sharp toenails) I would definitely recommend this place for interior/exterior detail work. read more

I needed a new bumper after someone parallel parked into my car. Central Ave Auto Body was wonderful to deal with on the phone and in person. The other guys' insurance company tried to get them to use after market parts (which is naughty) and Central Ave did right by me and installed a shiny new bumper at the lower price. Fortunately I haven't needed much body work over the years, but when I have these guys have done the work. (Last repair might have been 15+ years ago.) This year I brought my mom's mini van in for damage to two doors and a fender received in a parking garage. The 9-year-old van came out looking showroom new. They even touched up some unrelated scratches on the opposite side of the van. That's a caring attitude. I'd call them master craftsmen with old world craftsmanship. I found Central Ave Auto Body via google after getting estimates from 2 other competitors. I spoke to Rick over the phone and he was very professional and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with him and decided to bring my car by for an estimate. Much to my surprise, he came in less than the competition, gave me a free loner car and only took them 1 day to replace and paint my front bumper. They also buffed my headlights and touched of some of the nicks they noticed on other parts of the car. I brought my car here for a competitive quote, since I live close by, I thought it would be convenient. I saw some good reviews on Google+ and thought it would be worth a try. They were incredibly accommodating and gave me an estimate in a matter of minutes. Their quote included more work for less than the quote I got from a larger shop. I also needed a little detail work to an unrelated (i.e. not covered by insurance) dent. Which they said they could take care of at the same time for a much more reasonable prx than the other place. I was going out of town and really wanted the work done while I was gone. I was able to drop it off on Friday evening and, as promised, it was ready to picked up on Thursday am. Beating the insurance check which, inexplicably, had not been mailed yet! I picked up the car and it looked flawless, was waiting in the warm garage for me and had been given a once over inside and out, so it was sparkling clean. I would highly recommend these guys. They were so nice to deal with, incredibly professional and gave me back an almost brand new looking car. I will definitely be back to polish up a few other dings in the near future. read more
