I had Peoples Bank for business and personal accounts but they were a mess. We finally moved to Bank Midwest in 2009 and have been extremely satisfied with the service, policies, support and staff. Bank Midwest is a good sized bank with the feel and service of the small town local bank. It's like I grew up with their staff, they smile and treat you with respect, they help whenever you need it and have always been great whenever we had a question or issue. The business checking and services are excellent, the people are great and they offer everything the large corporate banks have but actually care about customers and the companies they service.

Call center for Straight Talk in a foreign country. No help, no order number, no invoice, nothing. Went to Security Bank and was told no problem but I needed to wait 30 days to report. I purchased same thing at Walmart since it was Xmas gift. After 30 days I went in to bank and filled out affidavit. A week later Security Bank sent letter saying I was denied and was just out the money. What about the month of service for the phone that was never received nor activated ? Sorry, you are just out. What kind of bank does that to a 70 year old long time customer? You have zero protection if you use Security Bank debit card. My new bank said that should never have happened.

The removal they were talking about was his ex-wife!!! Apparently they don't even bother to look at names before calling a grieving widow and telling her she's locked out of all of her accounts!!! Now I'm being told because they screwed up the paperwork at the branch we went to and didn't check the correct boxes to add me to the checking account and that they're going to hold $3000 that now will just go through probate. I've asked for an explanation as to why I have a debit card to an account I was never on. I've gotten no response to that. This bank is terrible. I intend to never bank here again. I've removed as much money from my account as I could.
