My sons therapist is Priscilla and she is amazing. My son absolutely loves her. She is always waiting for him at the door with a big welcoming smile and has fun activities planned for him. I really like that she takes the time to explain everything to me so that I can help him at home as well. My son still is not speaking but he has learned some ASL to help him communicate. Miss Leah has been working with our child for almost 2 years! Bar far...the best speech therapist we have had! She goes above and beyond. Last week my child didn't want to do the games offered so she altered the session by drawing. My child had to give detailed instruction on what to draw! Miss Leah has so much patience and truly loves our kiddo! She doesn't see the diagnosis ASD, she see's our child for who she is. We have loved our experience with the director, Jen. She immediately connected with our son and had him learning so much in just the first session alone. When we were struggling with an issue, she was immediately responsive and listened fully to our concerns. She manages her office well. I was supposed to have my appointment around 9 AM I was there on time I wait there for around 40 minutes and they told me the person who was going to see my child she was taking care of somebody else there was nobody at the front desk to tell me anything so I went and asked twice about my situation I think they need to be more organized and professional how to handle customer care it was not a really good experience for my first time being there . read more

If I can give this place a 0 I would . This past year in search of a therapist I came across this place . It was a difficult time for my family . We wanted to get my son the help he needed but no one was doing in person therapy due to Covid . When I received a call from Central Coast Language and Learning we were hopeful . We came into the office for his appointment for an evaluation at 9:00am and me and my son were put to wait in the waiting room till 9:48am. Even though we were the only ones in office I thought okay it's fine they are probably getting things ready . She finally called us . Jennifer D'Attilio was her name . She proceeded to ask me a couple questions about my son. My son is speech delayed that much we know for sure and is Of course shy to new people (what kid isn't ) he has had past therapists that he was shy with but warmed up within an hour. His current therapist it took him one session to warm up to her . With Jennifer she hounded him with a couple questions I say hounded because her tone was not welcoming at all he Of course cried . When I say a couple it was literally a couple questions and then she told me "ok well his attitude is obviously not of a typical 5 year old" she was very negative and judgmental of my son without even really knowing him . This whole evaluation including writing papers, talking to me and talking to my son was 10 minutes at the MOST maybe even less because we left the office and we where in my car by 10:00am . She told me after his "evaluation" he would be put on a waiting list because military people usually get priority. I couldn't believe it we left upset and hopeless that day . When I got in my car I picked myself up and told myself to keep searching because I was going to get my son the help he needed . The RIGHT help . I applauded my son got him some food and ice cream for even putting up with that lady and set out on my search . I came across Monterey Bay Speech Therapy and let me tell you they were the most welcoming and kind people I have met yet to provide services to young children . There evaluation was an hour at the least ! And he has been going to them ever since . Thriving and making progress with Miss Kelly . Thank God for this place . We still have a ways to go but I feel confident in the place my son is at. I chose to write a review today because my son just had an appointment with his new doctor . His doctor told me he was confused because his chart said my son had a profound receptive and expressive impairment. I asked who said that and he said Central Coast Language and Learning Jennifer D'Attilio . The same lady who gave us an overall evaluation appointment of 10 minutes . Actually Talked to my son for maybe 2 minutes . I was livid to say the least I told his doctor about my experience and he apologized to me and gave me referrals to resources to help my son and to help us see where he is really at . I am grateful to him as well today . I just hope that no one sends there kids here because this lady is literally out here giving wrong diagnosis and it is delaying parents from helping there children with there true diagnosis. A lot of parents take what doctors and therapists say and trust there world and don't keep searching unlike me . I feel really bad for those parents because this lady is wrong ! She is not thorough and she is not kind . Please go elsewhere . Search for what is best for YOUR child and keep searching . Every child is unique and some need more help than others but your child deserves the best help they can get to succeed in life and Jennifer D' Attilio is not the one . read more

We go twice a week and enjoy it. We see Kim. She is super friendly and explains what and why she does what she does. Since I have a toddler it's more to teach us how to work at home with her, but my daughter is making progress. Every kid is different and reacts differently so some workers may work better/not as well, if it isn't working try someone else. We have excellent insurance but the $700 initial bill was a shock. The woman spent about 20 minutes on the floor working with my daughter before writing her progress. I guess it just depends on who you have. I would say the women up front are very quite. I normally don't get a hi or bye. I couldn't care less, but I guess it bothers some people. read more

This place is incredibly bad. Our 2 year old listens better then the director. We went here for a swallow exam for our child. They double booked our appointment, never saw our kid eat or drink and all the person kept repeating was chain the foods. Despite repeatedly saying our kid eats a variety of items and we were concerned about choking this was all she can say. For some really stupid reason we decided to go back figuring maybe she was just stressed about another couple in the room but instead say it with me 'Chain the foods'. While our son ran around their play area. So the first visit maybe 10 minutes (1 minute with our child) and second maybe 20 minutes where she interacted with him a tops of 3 minutes where she just played with him. We got sent a bill for an evaluation (never done), a swallow evaluation (never saw him eat so not sure how she can say did this) and a treatment. So $500 for hearing say Chain the foods. You are beter off teaching your kid these 3 words yourself. read more

My daughter's been coming here for almost a year. The females that work in the front are beyond stupid. They do not have knowledge of billing or collecting co pays till it gets accumulated in the end. They are very rude. The speech therapists haven't even helped my daughter progress in any way... so I'm having her go through the school district now instead of dealing with the morons here. We've been coming here for almost a year for my 3.5 year old son. While we adored his old speech therapist, she has since left and I'm not dealing with their shenanigans anymore. First, the "assessment" that Jennifer D'Atillo did was a JOKE. She had him play with a few toys and essentially made up answers based on that. And the price for that was outrageous (luckily we have insurance). Now we're harassed for payment and for calling in when we can't make it (we did forget once but the other time I called and left a message but they "didn't get it"). Oh and by the way we actually can't pay when we go in because it's the front office staffs lunch time. This place is a joke, the owner is a joke. I HIGHLY recommend you go with someone else. Perhaps one day they will figure out how to run an office and get organized. read more

My son's doctor advised me to get him into speech therapy. I did some research online & I am so happy I chose this place. The office staff is great & help me whenever I ask for something. The owner Jennifer is amazing! She took the time to go over & explain in detail my son's evaluations & answered all my questions. My son's therapist Hilina is also amazing! I am so thankful they chose her to be my son's therapist. Hilina has been working with my 3 year old son for about 5 months now. She is doing an awesome job with him because I have seen so much improvement in his speech. She always explains to me what she is working on with him & even gives us words to work on at home. What can I say...We have tried 2 other speech therapists in the area, Jen and her team are by far the BEST! If you call you will be greeted by Tracy, the incredible front desk receptionist, her incredibly gracious personality makes the insurance process a breeze...then you will be given a therapist...all of these ladies are phenomenal, they are so receptive to the child's needs and really a pleasure to work with! We work with Jen and Ramsey and to say they have been helpful wouldn't begin to describe their role in my daughters speech therapy! They are patient yet they know exactly how to make her think, play and cooperate! I think if I had to sum this up I would say patience and kindess is what your going to get here! I wish I would have brought my daughter here earlier, as I feel I really missed some precious time, but Jen and Ramsey are doing an incredible job making up for time lost! Every child is different and these ladies seem to know the secret to making it work! We started a few months ago and transitioned to tele-therapy, we see Jen and Ramsey 4 times a week and it's working meticulously! Best decision we have made! read more

Our 5 year old has seen a great improvement over the past month since we started taking him to the center. We have found the staff is very flexible with appointments (including options to have ones late in the afternoon), and they even allowed us to cancel one time the same day without penalty. They to take Blue Cross Blue Shield ($25 co-pay) as an added bonus. I should add that he has only seen Jennifer at the center, so we can recommend her. read more

She and the CCLLC were highly recommended by the neurologist. Jennifer is simply amazing! She is the heart of our support team. She had an instant connection with my husband, which is crucial.
