A teacher could not leave at any point without being out of ratio, which is very concerning given how young the kids are. (Example: a toddler who was already potty trained asked to go potty and was told they put a pull up on her so they didn't need to take her and put them out of ratio) The teacher for the 2 year olds seemed very dry and gave very little verbal praise during activities. Nothing about the instruction or preschool aspect of it seemed to be very stimulating. (no singing or excitement) In addition, the toys outside were mostly either very dirty or just broken, even right at the beginning of the day. Teachers didn't play games or interact with children unless it was for help or cry. Granted what they charge a week, this place is 100% not worth it.

The teachers are incredibly warm and caring, and it truly feels like more than just a preschool. The environment is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with creative monthly themes that make learning fun and engaging. They even have live animals, including a bunny and reptiles, which my daughter absolutely loved. She especially enjoyed the baking activities and still uses skills she learned there in her everyday life. We also really appreciated the communication with weekly progress reports keeping us informed and the monthly photo albums were such a joy to go through together, helping her re-live and talk about everything she experienced. The holiday pageant was another highlight! So well-organized and heartfelt, just like everything they do. We were blown away! Not once did they complain about our son or make us feel that he was "too much." Instead, they consistently used their experience, patience, skills, and expertise to understand him, support him, and help him develop into the confident, capable young boy he is today. The growth we have seen in his confidence, ability to focus, social skills, and love of learning has been remarkable. As he now prepares to graduate and move on to kindergarten, we are so grateful for the role Serendipity has played in his journey. They have been a blessing to myself and my little one who continues to grow more knowledgeable. Every time I drop him off, he's already rushing to go inside or reaching for Gio to carry him. It's the sweetest thing to see him attached to another individual outside of myself or my partner. They are as more involved with my child's upbringing than myself. And that's okay. I know in the long haul for development purposes that this was the right choice. They were reasonable and extremely flexible with us. I would recommend this place 1000% over and that's because they send me memos, notes, lovely pictures of how my child is doing. Always updating me and ensuring that I'm involved with things that could help with his development. They go above and beyond to ensure your child is always getting the best out of their day, with play time, healthy home cooked meals and ensuring they at least get 30-1hr worths nap and I just don't know how they do it all, but they do because they are compassionate human beings who love our little one and you could totally tell by the way they handle their daycare. We have been nothing but pleased with this facility. Previous reviews were bad based on the…read moreprocess to get in, which is pretty much beyond their control and for the benefit and safety of the children attending... as well as state/federal regulation of number of kids that can be in classes. We got on the list about 3 months before we arrives and both children were accepted over the summer when lots of turn-over occurs. There is priority to those with two working parents or one working one looking for work or single parent. As there should be. It may be frustrating if your child can't attend, but the process is clearly laid out or explained if you call. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and has overall been great. The room staff is also nice and keeps us informed. They also offer twice a month "date nights" from 6-10 and they will watch your kids for $4/per hour/per child. We routinely take advantage of this service, being able to go out alone and have both kids watched for maximum of $32 is wonderful!
