We are only ending our speech sessions because he is starting preschool next week But I know he is prepared and ready because of all the help and support from Ms.Cat and Erin. Again I received a call that my son's therapist will be leaving the practice & in the meantime no times are available except 3pm on Wednesdays (they have his availability & know 3pm on Wednesdays would not work). Since February of 2026, his doctors have requested he receive an additional session be added since my son is non-verbal & every time I have followed up the response is "availability must remain open for other patients". CLARISSA, the scheduling "manager" who is very passive, informed me if i did not want to schedule my son for an incoming therapist in August (WE ARE IN APRIL) then i am more than welcome to have him discharged. Mind you, we drive an hour to take him to be able to receive this support & multiple times we have arrived & there is no therapist for him, or the session was "canceled". The lack of communication & opportunity for a child is extremely sad. 0/5 stars

Ms. Hoops was very helpful and explained the reason for my exercises as well as emphasizing the importance of my continuing the exercises on a long-term basis. I have heeded her advice. While in consultation with Ms, Hoops I also learned that she had experience working with deaf children. My family had been haranguing me for years to get my hearing tested and the results concluded that I had moderate hearing loss, but not sufficient loss for a hearing aid. However, I was not fully informed of the consequences of my hearing loss or provided an explanation of my testing chart. I made an appointment with Ms Hoops to go over the results of the test, I brought in my charts (which were greek to me) and she explained the test results, informed me of the sounds that are now difficult for me to hear and gave me suggestions regarding "training" family members and friends about how best to ensure that I hear their words. I am very happy to have found Ms. Hoops and Monterey Bay Speech Therapy.

Therasens is incredible. We have been seeing Lauren for my son's torticollis since he was 5 months…read moreold. We still see her now. He is nearly a year old. Lauren has walked us through each step of occupational therapy with grace and confidence. Not once have I felt like I was being judged or that my child was in the wrong hands. Lauren is incredible with babies. Therasens works as a team when something comes up and we have had the opportunity to see that happen time and time again to help support the children in need. The front desk is organized, efficient, and helpful when needing to change appointments. Parents of children over 18 months are asked to stay in the waiting room, but because we have a baby, we are allowed to go in the back to watch each step of the process. (I'm sure exceptions can be made). During that time, I have observed nothing but kindness, compassion, and resilience from the therapists in Therasens. They work hard to provide children with the care they need. We are so grateful for Lauren and Therasens.

Without my knowledge or consent, she sent this evaluation to the private school we were applying to--an action that directly resulted in my daughter being denied acceptance. This not only devastated us at the time but set off an entire year of emotional stress and confusion. Fast forward to a year later: after seeing multiple other speech therapists for second (and third) opinions, every single one has said the same thing--my daughter has no speech disorder. In fact, she doesn't even qualify for speech therapy at all. It's clear to me now that Jocelyn Lagier was more interested in keeping us on a path of ongoing, unnecessary therapy sessions--ultimately for financial gain. She was not warm, supportive, or collaborative. She did not listen to my concerns as a parent, and I truly believe she caused harm rather than helped. I'm writing this review because I don't want another family to go through what we did. If you're looking for a thoughtful, ethical, and child-centered speech therapist, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. This was a deeply painful and frustrating experience, and one I wouldn't wish on anyone.

We started seeing Francine when my daughter was about 1 1/2 years old and went once per week. Francine has a very routine/structured approach that I admire and has worked great for our family. Before seeing Francine routinely, it was very hard to understand my daughter. She could not properly pronounce her sounds/words and would get easily frustrated because I wasn't able to meet certain needs of hers. With the help of Francine, the "homework" and simple techniques she gave us, my daughter thrived! Fast forward 2 1/2 years later and my daughter is speaking fluently and is understood by me and other adults and her friends. Mona was very efficient at coordinating her admission from the hospital. She was also very diligent when coordinating all the transportation to and from the dialysis center. All the staff at Windsor was very professional and very helpful. We will visit my grandmother everyday and they were always very friendly. Mona was very efficient and very diligent with my grandmothers discharge. She made sure that my grandmother left with everything she needed. The discharge was very smooth and as her caretaker I left very confident and prepare.

I visited on June 20, 2026, specifically to have both ears cleaned, as I have a medical condition that requires earwax removal approximately every six months. I explained this to Dr. Mendoza and specifically requested that both ears be cleaned. However, she only cleaned my right ear and insisted there was no wax in my left ear, despite my concerns. The very next day, my left ear became plugged and my hearing was muffled. I called the office, and Veronica told me I could return to be seen by another provider. She specifically assured me that if wax was found and removed, I would not be charged or have my insurance billed, and that I would only be charged if a lavage was performed. When I returned on June 22, another physician found earwax in my left ear and removed it with an instrument--not a lavage. This confirmed that my original concern was valid and that wax had been present all along. Despite the assurance I was given, my insurance was billed and I was charged another copay. When I contacted Veronica about the unexpected charge, she changed the explanation and said I was billed because the physician discussed another medical issue and provided a lab slip. That directly contradicted what I had been told before returning. I did not request evaluation of any other condition, and any discussion about prior medical history was initiated by the provider--not by me. To make matters worse, I found errors in my medical record, including my height being documented incorrectly, which resulted in an inaccurate BMI classification. When I asked about correcting the record, I was simply told to submit the correction myself through MyChart instead of the office taking responsibility. Throughout this process, I found Veronica to be dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. Most importantly, this entire situation could have been avoided if my original request to clean both ears had been addressed during my first visit. The second physician confirmed that earwax was indeed present in the ear that was left untreated. I hope the clinic reviews both its billing practices and how patient concerns are handled. Patients should be able to trust the information they're given and expect complete, accurate care without having to return because their initial treatment was incomplete.
